Day 10
Getting to Know YouWhen Roffy got up, she had a text from her boss telling her not to come in, that they had plenty of staff on hand and to “enjoy that newlywed glow with the hubby.” It made her only a little bit uncomfortable that everyone was making accommodations just because she just got married.
Yongguk was waiting for her downstairs, already dressed. “Going to the studio today?” she asked as she unpeeled a banana.
“Nope,” he replied. “We’re going to go shopping today.”
“Shopping?”
“Yeah. We need new furniture because the couch is getting a bit dented. Also, I don’t have enough chairs if we want to have guests over.”
“We have a dining table with six chairs already.”
“Well what if my members come over and your friends are over too? You can never have too many chairs.”
“If you want to think about it this way, let’s count in my family and yours and oh, how about Sniffles?” She was being sarcastic and he caught it.
Yongguk pouted. “You’re being mean.”
“Yeah, and you’re like four.”
“Fine. Maybe not furniture. We can buy you new clothes, or we can start setting up a nursery…” he trailed off and peeked up to see her reaction.
Roffy choked on her banana and quickly clapped her chest to relieve the heavy burden. “Do you need new clothes?” she asked, wanting desperately to divert the topic.
He gave her a gigantic grin. “We can set up a nursery.”
“For who?!”
“For Sniffles,” he replied innocently. “Our son needs more than just the pen. He also needs another area where he can sleep. You can’t sleep where you play. That’s weird.”
Roffy gave Yongguk a look. “You know, the more I know you, the weirder you get. You’re ruining the tough guy image,” she warned him.
He placed his chin on his hands in a ‘V.’ “Please, what tough guy? You have Prince Charming right here.”
She chuckled and gave his outfit a onceover. “I like what you’re wearing,” she told him.
Yongguk looked down. “Really? It’s just black though.”
“I know, and the beanie is adorable. Good taste, I like it. You should wear black more often. It makes you look more manly and,” and more cuddle-worthy and adorable and precious and handsome and all these adjectives she would never say to him.
“And?” he prompted.
“And we gotta go! We have to beat that shopping mania that occurs on Saturdays.”
He stood up and followed her, rolling his eyes a little. “You can’t even spare a guy a compliment,” he mumbled.
She turned around and smiled angelically at him. When he glowered at her, she blew him a kiss, which he caught and tapped against his lips. Roffy turned back around and giggled into her palm. Ten days in and she was falling more in love with him than ever.
