Minho completed his primary school being the top pupil with excellent percentage of 97% including the Best in Mathematics. With his potentials, he passed the entrance exam in Oxford Academy, a high ranking school in the entire U.S. He chose to live within the school's dormitory occupying a room by his own. He remained diligent and competitive all through out and was consistent obtaining A+ grades as he joined various clubs and varsity team of soccer

Juniel was already five years old Kindergarten and her rosy cheeks were getting lot chubbier as evidence of Mrs. Hasun's full attention. Everyday her father drives her to school and her mother will fetch her after. Some of her classmates joke about her steamed bun face because of that, nevertheless she remain benevolent as her name. When Mrs. Hasun invited Mrs. Sunhwa for a casual talk, the later brought with her then her ten years old daughter. Whenever they were invited, Sulli will always go straightly to Juniel's doll-room. The room was enlarged with many assorted toys ranging from big dolls to small bears, stuffed toys and toy house. Minho's sister has her doll-room too but not as girlish and creative as Juniel's. It made her quiet jealous to think her richness is greater than the adopted Juniel has.

When she entered the room, little Juniel was there playing with cooking toys, Sulli quickly picked a human size Barbie doll to dress her up. Little Juniel was quiet surprised and as naive as her age, she possessively pulled the Barbie out of her cousin's hand. "Ah It's mine." She told her calmly. She got another Barbie doll and Juniel followed her and pulled it again from her. "It's mine." Sulli got irritated and so she pissed the little girl more. Little Juniel grabbed everything she handled and it made the older girl really mad. Sulli snatched some stuffed toy and beat her constantly sending the defenseless Juniel on  the floor, bawling in pain. "Mamaaaaaaaaaa."

"You're spoiled brat! You can't shere your toys, it's not even yours! You're just adopted! Adopted!"

Baby Juniel cried out loud until her personal maid heard her. She had no clue what is the meaning of the word yet it hurted her being beaten up with a thing. Her personal maid, Shin carried her and brought to her mother. Mrs. Hasun and Sunhwa were having tete-a-tete that time when the crying Juniel was brought to her. She embraced her daughter while wiping her eyes. "What happen?"

"Sulli beaten her up with a toy. She even called Juniel adopted." The maid answered the old woman.

Their eyes went large as they did not expect Sulli to say that 'What?"

"Yes I heard it Mam."

Mrs. Hasun got infuriated by it "Sunhwa, discipline your daughter or I'll spank her myself."

"Okay unnie." The mother went quickly to Sulli and whipped the daughter with her hand right away. It was her first time to punish her daughter that shocked Sulli then wept.

"Sulli don't ever say that to Juniel. Not here inside their house." Her mother scolded her.

"Mom, Juniel is too greedy. She didn't want me to play her toys."

"Evenso, you should not say that to her. Let's go now before your Aunt Hasun will hurt you."

When they went down, Sulli was forced by her mother to apology.

"Sorry Auntie." Sulli said while still crying.

"Don't do that again Sulli." Mrs. Hasun sent Juniel back to her bedroom after she calmed her.

"Yes."

At her room, Sulli was so mad at the early incident that she needed to say it to her brother Minho. He was then reviewing for his quiz when his one and only sibling called her.

"Hello oppa." Her voice was little shaking still tearing up.

The brother sensed something wrong. "Hello Sulli. 'What's the problem?"

"Mom spanked me because of Juniel."

"Why? What happen?"

"I'm just borrowing her toy then suddenly she cried out loud because she's too selfish not wanting to share it with me."

'Really?"

"Yes." Sulli have to crop the truth so her oppa would believe her. "Then Mommy hit me because Mrs. Hasun urged her to do it."

"Aunt Hasun is becoming more and more overprotective with her daughter."

"Yes. That spoiled girl, I hate her."

"Don't cry Sulli." Her oppa calmed her.

"Oppa, where will you comeback? I'm missing you now."

"It's still long time run. I have quiz tomorrow."

"Ohh. I miss it when we're still together playing around."

"Don't worry Sulli. I will be  there in Christmas, promise."

"Really?!"

"Yes."

Sulli got excited by it. She could not wati for that promise.

Mrs. Hasun became so protective with her adopted that even some relatives started to feel jealous on the innocent girl. Juniel was a quiet and harmless child but deep inside, these growing jealousies around her bothered her. She even formed some phobia when it comes to socialization especially With her relative.

Now, Minho is seventeen. With his tall height and charming feature, he kept attracting female admirers Asians or westerns alike. Some of friends brought him to a club to meet strange girls there. He engulfed his self with studies the previous years but he felt like he needed to get some relationship this time. He was not allowed to date until he finish his college life yet being far away from his family made him free to do what he wants. One day when he was partying with a group of friends, he met Kwon Yuri a fellow Korean attending a birthday celebration. With her alluring face, y curve, and beautidul legs, Minho fell in love for the first time. The girl was two year older than him but really bold and open-minded. She was studying fashion designing while taking some modeling job. Minho could not stop thinking of her the first time he met her and so he did everything to pursue her. Knowing the young man's reputation, Yuri respond to him and they became official lover after a month of dating. Minho hide this relationship from his parents knowing they would oppose it since his new girlfriend is just commoner.
