Hyun Ae was imagining how she would kill Orion.

She didn’t realize she was smirking all by herself with all her imagination when somebody spoke behind her.

“Nyx right?” Jaejoong asked her.

She didn’t want him to notice so she bowed to him, acting that he’s her superior.

“Yes Sir, I’m Nyx. Nice to meet you.” She said formally.
“I’ve been wanting to meet you.”
“I’m more honored to meet you Sir.”

He smiled again.

Go ahead. Smile more. This could be your last.

“You must’ve been surprised to see me. That’s why I don’t show up to all people under me. I don’t want to expose my identity.”

“I understand Sir.”
“I hope you’ll keep this as a secret.”
“You can trust me Sir.”
“Thank You.”

She bowed to him again, seeing that he just turned around to leave.

“Uh by the way Nyx.”

“Yes, Sir?”

“I want you to report directly to me from now on.”

Though surprised, she managed to answer him back quickly.

“Yes, Sir.”

Jaejoong then moved away from them and joined another group of men talking.

She smiled as she stared at him.

Stupid fool. You wanna die so fast?

It would be easier for her to carry out her plan for him. It’s really something she wanted from the very beginning. And now she could sense that it’s all happening.

“Congratulations Nyx!” said Virgo with a wide smile.
“Is it that really great?” She asked him. Although it’s something she should celebrate, Virgo’s opinion seems interesting.

“Of course! He’s such a great boss. You can receive lots of benefits!” Said Virgo in a very happy tone.

“Benefits?”

“Yeah, benefits. He’s such a generous boss.”

“Generous?”

“Uh huh. His men always receive many things from him. But of course this is just true to those who serve him with dedication.”

“Yah! Why are you repeating everything I say?”
“Oh, Mianhe.” She laughed a bit seeing Virgo slightly irritated.

She was just wondering what he means that’s why she keeps on asking.

“So where am I reporting from now on?” She askedVirgo.

During the party she studied who are those around her. The men Jaejoong talked to, those who have attended. She noticed that those outside the room they’re in aren’t part of the organization. Those were Jaejoong’s friends and others are from the company he’s working.

He purposely gathered his men with this event so not to make it obvious.
“He’s smart. But I’m smarter.” She chuckled.
“I’ll get you Jaejoong. I know I’ll get you.”

She sat together with Virgo’s group when her phone rang.
She moved away to answer it.
But before answering it, she noticed Jaejoong looking at her from the other table.
She smiled formally to him and then answered the phone.

“Yoboseyo?”

“Hyun Ae!”

“Ye? Who’s this please?”

“It’s Donghae! Can’t you remember?”

Her heart skipped hearing his voice.

How did he get my number?

“Oh Donghaeya. Hi!. How did you get my number?” She said in a happy tone.

She tried to make this call as discrete as possible so she moved further.

“Secret!” He then giggled.

She felt a piece of happiness hearing him. She just doesn’t know why.

“You’re really crazy.” She laughed.

She moved her head to the people behind her, She’s afraid that someone might hear her.
As she looked behind, she saw Jaejoong looking at her again.
And it just caught her breath.

She acted as if she didn’t notice him and turned around again.

“Yah! Hyun Aeya! Are you still there?”

“Ah Donghaeya. Mianhe. What were you saying again?”

“Is your boyfriend there? You seemed lost.”

“Anio! He’s not here. I mean, I don’t have a boyfriend.”

She then heard nothing from Donghae after what she said.

“Yoboseyo? Donghaeya. Still there?”

“Yes.. I’m still here. How come you don’t have one? You’re beautiful.”

She blushed… again.

Why do Donghae always makes her like that, she thought.

“I’ll just call you ok? I’m really in the middle of something.”

“Where are you by the way?” She asked.

“I’m at a party. You know Jaejoong right? DBSK’s member? It’s his birthday today. I’m in his party right now at a hotel.”

She stopped breathing hearing him said it.

She then started walking towards the door separating the other guests.
She opened it slowly and tried to search among those friends of Jaejoong from his company.

And true, she saw this handsome man holding his phone facing the window and talking happily.

“Yes, I’m at his party. It’s his birthday.”

“Birthday?” She then looked at Jaejoong’s table if he’s still there. But he was gone.

What should I do?

“Uhm.. Donghaeyah, I really have to hang up ok? I have to go now. I’ll talk to you later.”

“Ok… Thanks for talking with me.”

She knew it made her happy again hearing him said it. But she has to hung up now.

“Ok, bye then.”

“Uh HYUN AE! Wait…”

She really doesn’t know what to say. Knowing Dongahe’s Jaejoong’s friend.

“Sure. Bye..”

She just realized she answered him already.

As she looked at Donghae’s direction outside the door, he looked so happy.


“What have I done?! I just said YES!” she said to herself.

“Looking for something?”

She was startled as she just heard someone talked behind her.

She turned around to se who it was.

“Jae… I mean Sir.” She exclaimed.

She’s now worried if he heard something from her conversation with Donghae.

“N… none, none Sir. I was just looking around.” She said formally.

She’s really good at lying. But why is she stammering? She asked herself.

“I see. “ Jaejoong said smiling.

“Who just called?”

How did he know that I didn’t make the call but someone just called me?
So all this time he was studying my moves.
You’re really smart Jaejoong. But not as smart as I am. She said to herself.

“Ah, my friend. Just asking where I am.”

“So not your boyfriend?”

She was surprised with what he said but she didn’t allow him to notice it.

“No Sir. I don’t have a boyfriend.” She directly said.

She then saw Jaejoong’s eyes painted with a bit of surprise.

“Really? A beautiful lady like you has no boyfriend?”

“Really none Sir.”

“I see. Anyways, if I’ll be your boyfriend, I must be as tough as you are.”

Then she saw Jaejoong smiled saying this.

She was surprised with what he said to her.

But honestly, she felt something as she heard those words from him. But she didn’t let it bother her.

“I just hope you’d be working with me with your loyalty Nyx. I’m happy to have a new staff under me as good as you.”

She doesn’t know if she’ll blush or if she’ll believe him. She just knew she felt something different with his presence.

“Thank you Sir. I’d be doing my best to serve you.”
“Thank you too.”

Jaejoong then started to move away.

“Uh Sir. Happy birthday by the way.”

Jaejoong went back to her smiling.

“How did you know?”

“I just... I just heard. I didn’t know when until I came here.”

“I see. So you have to think of a present for me.”

Jaejoong said smiling.

His smile was so perfect. How come this man has killed my father?

“I… I will Sir.” She just realized she answered him that.

“Thanks Nyx. See you tomorrow.”

Jaejoong finally went. She was left at the corner by herself thinking.

These two men just gave her a headache tonight.
