“Do… Donghaeya?”

She doesn’t know why but her cheeks are felt so warm.
She felt like she just did a crime.


“Mianhe… I came in the wrong time.


…. I... I should leave.”



But before he could step any further Hyun Ae called her.

“Wait Donghaeya!”


He closed his eyes before he faced her again. He forced himself to smile.
Seeing them on that scene just killed him.
He totally lost her.

“Please… come inside.”

He slowly walked inside the room, holding a bouquet of flowers in his hands.

“Hyun Aeya…” He said offering her the flowers.

Hyun Ae smiled as she accepted it.

Jaejoong, on the other hand, was gritting his teeth in anger towards Donghae.
He wanted to grip his neck until he loses his breath.


“Thanks.” She said as she smiled at him.

“Please take a seat.”

Donghae sat on the chair behind him. He was now in front of Hyun Ae but he couldn’t even raise his eyes to look at her. His guilt is eating him up.

“Uhmm… Jaejoong, can you leave us alone first?”

“What?”

“Please…” She looked at him with her eyes pleading.

Jaejoong sighed. Whenever he sees her like that she couldn’t just say ‘no’ to her.
He walked to the door but before he could go out he glanced at Donghae and gave him a sharp look.

Donghae bravely looked at him and didn’t bother his warn.


Donghae and Hyun Ae were silent for a moment.

They were waiting for each other to talk.


“Mianhe…” Donghae finally spoke.

He couldn’t look at Hyun Ae in the eyes.
He knew he doesn’t deserve her forgiveness.

Hyun Ae smiled.
She reached out her hands to his face. She lifted his chin up.

“I’m sorry. I was weak. I couldn’t tell you.”

Donghae looked at her in the eyes. He held her hand that touches his chin.

“Why didn’t you tell me? I would have listened to you.”
He spoke still holding her hand.

“I was scared. I saw your anger. How could I tell you?”

“You should have trusted me…”


She can’t answer him.

“You just don’t know how I felt so crazy knowing I just shot you. I have hurt the one I….”

He suddenly stopped talking.

She gazed at him.

“I’m happy you still wanted to see me after what happened.”

Donghae then let go of her and stood up.

“I better leave now. Jaejoong hyung, might be waiting.”

Donghae then started walking out of the room.



“Donghaeya….”

Donghae then gazed at her. He is just a step away from the door.

“Friends?” She smiled brightly at him.

Donghae just smiled at her.

He then opened the door and left.


And Donghae was right, Jaejoong was at beside the door waiting.

He looked at him and the anger in his eyes never faded.

“Donghae….” Jaejoong called.

“I know.” Donghae just answered.


Donghae knew what Jaejoong was talking about. They had an agreement.
After Donghae will see Hyun Ae, he will never get close to her ever.

It was difficult but it was just right for him.
He doesn’t deserve her anymore.


Hyun Ae was discharged from the hospital after 2 days.
She felt better.

Her problem with Donghae is over. But there’s one more thing that bothers her, he didn’t show up after he visited her in the hospital.

She started to get worried.
She decided to call him but he doesn’t pick up.


“What’s up with him?”
She threw her phone on her bed.


“Is there anything wrong?” Jaejoong asked her.


He is visiting her most of the time.
His health is getting better also and he could now join s on their performances.


“Nothing.” She answered.

Jaejoong went closer to Hyun Ae.

“You shouldn’t stress yourself much. Look at you…”

He said working his hand on her hair.

She chuckled.


“Look who’s talking? I told you to rest more but then you’re not listening to me!”

Jaejoong just laughed.
He like how Hyun Ae talks to him like that.



Hyun Ae in the other hand was thankful of Jaejoong’s care.
He was the only one who takes care of her.
Everybody else left her.

Including Donghae.



“Oopa… About your meeting with the organization…”

“Yeah, I fixed that already. I will meet them tomorrow night. That would be the last time I’ll be with them.” He smiled at her.


She was so happy listening to him.
He finally would change his life.

Jaejoong spent his dinner with her. He made a special dish and they shared it.
He has always been extra sweet to her. And she’s used to it already.
She was reminded on the day there were on the hospital when Jaejoong kissed her and Donghae saw them. It was the first time that someone kissed her.
But they never talked about it. It just happened.
No one ever opened the topic. Not even Jaejoong.
And she thinks it was better like that.
Because if Jaejoong would ask, she definitely couldn’t answer him.

“Oppa, take care ok?” she told Jaejoong over the phone.

“Araso…” he answered.

She then hang up and sat on the couch.
Tonight, Jaejoong will end his connection with the organization and she couldn’t be happier with that.

She then looked at her phone. She was bored and she wanted to talk to someone.
She scanned the names on the phone but she stopped when he saw Donghae’s number.

She sighed. She missed him already.

She thought they were already good. That they are friends again.

But how come he never called?

She decided to call him, but like the previous calls he doesn’t pick up.

She felt scared at a moment.

What if he’s sick?
Or at the hospital?

She decided to go to the Super Junior’s dorm to see him.
And just as she arrived, she saw Donghae getting into his car.

She quickly ran in front of the car.

She won’t let him pass.

Donghae was surprised seeing her.

He quickly went off the car and went up to her.


“Hyun… Hyun Aeya.. What are you doing here?”

“How dare you not answer my calls?”

“I… was busy.”

“You can’t even leave me a single text message?”

“I’m really busy.”

“Please get off the way, I have somewhere important to go to.”

“Wait! Where are you going?”

Donghae didn’t listen and just went back to his car he then rushed away.


She was left at the street. She couldn’t believe him leaving her there.

“Hyun Ae, it’s cold out here. Go home now.”

She heard someone say.

“Kangin?”

Kangin went near her and gave her his jacket.

“Donghae has a mission right now. I know you know what I mean right?”

“You… you knew he was a …”

“An agent? Yes, I know. I knew all along. And now he is having a mission. And it’s quite a big one. He’s leading the team.”

“What mission? Where?”

“You have so many questions.”

Kangin laughed.

“Please tell me Kangin-ah.”

“Ok ok. It’s a drug syndicate and the leaders of that organization will be there. So this operation is really a delicate one. But I know Donghae can do it.”

Kangin smiled with so much confidence.

She suddenly stopped breathing.

Drug syndicate? Leaders? Organization? Tonight?


She couldn’t compose herself anymore.

What if .....?
