She knew that voice. It was Donghae’s.

And his question… It’s something I can’t answer.

Besides that, doesn’t know how to face him.
The idea that Donghae was the one who tried to shot her was still in her mind.

She slowly turned her head to Donghae.

He was standing behind her seat. But he wasn’t looking at her. He was staring at the altar.

She could see a gloomy aura of him through his eyes.

She kept silent. She really doesn’t know what to say.

“Jaejoong hyung must really be great.” He sighed.

“It’s not like what you think.” At last she was able to say something.

“Then what is it?” He snarled and finally threw her a look.

But that look was killing her.

It was the second time she saw him like that.
The first one was when he told her about his father.

“You don’t know what happened.” She said and started to go out of the chapel, leaving Donghae alone.

She doesn’t want to answer him.

Besides that, she has decided.

She won’t see Donghae again.
Even it pains her.
They can’t be together.
It’s on her plan to leave him. While there’s still time, she must do that.

But what was her plan actually? She asked herself.

She shook her head, things are happening so unexpectedly.

Her plan was to kill Jaejoong and save herself before Donghae would find out she’s Nyx.
Now, Jaejoong just saved her life by shielding his body from the bullet that was for her. The worst thing is that she didn’t let Jaejoong die instead she called for help.
Now Jaejoong has introduced her as his girlfriend to everybody, including to Donghae who came in for a visit.
Besides that, Donghae is asking her so many questions for why she dumped him and all.

She’s really going crazy.

Her plans aren’t doing well.

“Where are you going?” Donghae said quickly grabbing her arm.
“Let go of me Donghaeya.” She said trying to pull back.

She breathed deeply. She walked passed by him.
She purposely kept her face away from his sight so not to let him see her troubled self also.

“So, you hate me now right?” She tried to explore on him more.

Suddenly, she just felt Donghae’s arms around her waist embracing her from behind.

She was so surprised that, she felt goose bumps feeling him so near her.

“I can’t hate you, Hyun Aeya. Even though it’s too painful.”

She could hear Donghae breathe through her hair.
His embrace is so warm.

“Even though how much you hurt me... I still love you. Whatever happens, I will still love you”

She started to tear up hearing him say those words.
No one ever told her that.

Would you say that still once you’ll know the real me?
Would you hold me this tight if you knew I was Nyx?
Although I didn’t kill your father, I still felt responsible.
And you never knew how this hurts me Donghae.

“Mianhe… Oppa, Mianhe.” She said as she tried to break free from his embrace.

She walked straight and didn’t look at Donghae even for a glance.
She’s scared he’ll saw her eyes.



She walked quickly when Donghae uttered another word.

“Do you love him?”

She was stunned. At a moment she stood there staring blankly.
Absorbing his question.
Assessing herself.

“Do you love him Hyun Ae? If you tell me you love him…

Though it hurts…

She heard him say.


Do I love him?
How could I love the man who killed my father?
But how could a woman not feel grateful to the man who just bravely shielded his body from a bullet that’s not meant for him?

She doesn’t know.

Almost loosing Jaejoong scared her.

She tried to step forward decided not to answer him.
