Hyun Ae opened her eyes weakly.
She felt a terrible headache which made her shut her eyes off again.

But she tried to ignore it. She’s in danger now. No time for sleeping.

‘Damn where am I?’ She asked as she looked around the room.

The room has no window at all and a single light from a bulb illuminates it. She couldn’t see anyone around. So she felt an urge to free herself.


She wanted to escape but her hands are tied behind her as she was seated on monoblock chair. Her feet were tied together too and she barely could move.

“Damn!”

She then remembered the man who held her captive.
She’s gritting her teeth in anger.

Jaejoong went back to his apartment and Donghae just went to follow him. Donghae thinks it would be best if they find Hyun Ae together. Things would be easier.

He followed Jaejoong who then went to the dining room and removed the painting that was hanging there.

Donghae knew Jaejoong has lots of secrets so seeing a vault behind paintings was no surprise.

Jaejoong took an attaché case from there and filled it with money.
He’s not asking him anything. He knew what’s going on.

He then saw Jaejoong pull a gun from the vault. He then threw it to Donghae.

“I know you got one. But a back up isn’t bad right.” Jaejoong told him.

Jaejoong then took more bullets for the gun he took for himself too.

After taking everything he needed, they then left.



“Where are we going? What did the caller told you?” Donghae asked Jaejoong who was driving so fast to a certain destination.

“Just shut up if you don’t want me to push you out of the car.” He answered seriously.

“Don’t answer me like that! I’m sure you’re the reason why she’s kidnapped!”

Jaejoong just sighed.

Maybe Donghae was right too, he thought. He couldn’t think any reason why she will be kidnapped.

There was silence afterwards.
Both were thinking deeply. But even though there were no words, both felt a huge worry over Hyun Ae's disappearance.

Jaejoong then pulled off the car.

“We’re few blocks away from the building but we’re dropping here. I don’t want them to notice us.” Jaejoong told Donghae.

The two then planned their entry on the building.



Jaejoong walked through the gate like what the kidnapper just said.
He was asked to bring money to save Hyun Ae.

Actually Donghae isn’t part of the plan but he found him useful for there would be someone who can go and save Hyun Ae while he is distracting the kidnappers.

He told Donghae to use the back part of the building as he goes with the plan of the kidnapper to come through the main door.


Jaejoong reached the inside of the building while Donghae found the back door.

He stopped in the middle and screamed.

“Yah! Get out of there! I’m here! I brought the money.”


Then a man went out wearing a black pair of suits and a tie.

Jaejoong’s jaw almost dropped in surprise of whom he saw.
He didn’t saw it coming.



“It… it can’t be! You… you were dead! You were dead…. Ho Dong ssi!”

The man, whom Jaejoong called Ho Dong laughed out loudly.
He was like a devil who rose from the dead.


“Surprise Surprise! Well, I’m not dead YET. Jaejoong.”
Ho Dong then laughed again.


Ho Dong was the butler of Hyun Ae’s family.
He was her father’s confidant.


“How… how did you…?”

“How did I survive? It’s simple! I wasn’t really shot. I pretended to be dead. And you fool believed that.”

Jaejoong sighed. He isn’t expecting things to happen like this.


“I brought the money. You can release Hyun Ae now.” He said calmly.

But instead of an answer, he heard a devilish laugh from Ho Dong.

“You thought I needed that? I don’t need that!”

“Then why are you doing this?” Jaejoong screamed at him.

“I want you dead! You and Hyun Ae!”


“What….?”

“I want you dead. I hated you for so long.”


“Why? I mean… I didn’t do anything to you!”


“You stole everything from me! The part on the organization and Hyun Ae’s father’s trust!”

Jaejoong then laughed at Ho Dong’s words.

“You know why Mr. Park didn't give you the position? Because he knew you're an animal like what you are showing right now!”

He quickly pulled a gun and pointed it to Ho Dong.

“You’re stupid Ho Dong!” he screamed.


“You don’t want to do that Jaejoong.” Ho Dong said as he snapped his fingers sending a signal to his men.


Two men then brought Hyun Ae out from the room.

His eyes widen in surprise.


“Hyun Aeya!”

“Jaejoongah… Wy are you here? you shouldn’t have come!”

“I… don’t want you to be harmed.”

“It’s stupid to come here!”

“I’d do anything for you!”


Ho Dong clapped his hands as he heard the two talked.

“How sweet.” He said.

“Yah, Jaejoong. How could you love this ? She’s just making a fool out of you!”

Ho Dong then moved closer to Hyun Ae and held her cheek.

“Yeah… she’s pretty. An angelic face. That’s why you’re fooled!”




“Don’t you touch her!” Jaejoong screamed.


“Calm down! Take it easy lover!” Ho Dong laughed.


Ho Dong then pulled out his gun and pointed it on Hyun Ae’s neck.


“Put that down Ho Dong!” Jaejoong screamed at him.


“Tsk tsk tsk. You can’t tell me that Jaejoong. You know I have all the cards here.”
Ho Dong laughed again.


Ho Dong then shifted his attention to something else.

“Get out of there! I know you’re here somewhere!” Ho Dong screamed as he pointed the gun still at Hyun Ae’s neck.

“You don’t want her dead right? I’m counting 1 to 3. If you’re not coming out, she’s dead!” Ho Dong screamed again.


“One….”

Jaejoong’s throat is drying in nervousness. Their plan isn’t working.
He knew, Donghae would come out.

“Two….”

Hyun Ae didn’t closed her eyes although she’s really scared for her life. She wanted to know who Ho Dong is calling.
In her heart, she’s wishing it wasn’t Donghae. She doesn’t want him to be involved.
Jaejoong in danger is more than enough. Donghae adding to the list would really break her heart.


“Come on boy! You don’t want her dead like this right?” Ho Dong said again.

A shadow from the wall appeared.

“Good.” Ho Dong said smiling,

“I know you’ll come too.”

“Do…Donghae?” Hyun Ae cried.
“Why…. Why are you here?”

“Mianhe…. Mianhe…” Donghae said with his head bowed in dismay.

“Oh don’t make me fall into tears. You guys are really romantic.” Ho Dong laughed.

“Well then! Hyun Aeya…. It’s your turn.” He said as he took a seat.


“Wh… what are you talking about?” Hyun Ae answered so confused.


“Tell them…. “


“Tell them what?!”

“Tell them who you really love?”


Hyun Ae’s eyes widened in surprise.
She didn’t saw this coming. It was a hell of a surprise.


Jaejoong and Donghae looked at each other.
“What?”

“Oh come on! You don’t have to be shy. Tell them who you really love?

Is it Donghae or Jaejoong?”



She looked at the two men.
She held her breath.


“Answer me Hyun Ae! Is it JAEJOONG or DONGHAE!”
