“Damn it! Answer the phone Virgo!”

Hyun Ae kept on walking back and forth since she couldn’t solicit any answer from Virgo’s phone.

She kept on dialing also Jaejoong’s number but it was off.

Virgo is her only chance.



There’re so many things running in her mind.

What if it was Jaejoong’s organization that Donghae was really after?
What if he’ll see Jaejoong there?
What if he’ll hurt him?

Or…

What if Donghae will be the one hurt?
Those people will not let him live.


She felt she’s going insane thinking what she should do.
What made it worse is that it might be too late to save them now.




She attempted to call Virgo again hoping that he’ll finally pick up.

For the 5th time that she called Virgo, she finally heard an answer.



“VIRGO!”

“Hyun Ae.”

“Ne, where is Jaejoong?”

“I don’t know.”

She was surprised.

“What do you mean by I don’t know? You’re not with him?”

“He came to the meeting alone.”

She sighed. If Virgo isn’t there, no one’s gonna protect him, she thought.

“Just tell me where the meeting is.”

“Why Nyx? Is there any problem?”

“Just tell me now!”

“Ok ok! Chill out!”

Virgo told Hyun Ae the address and she finally hang up.

Hyun Ae literally made her car almost fly driving to the place he told her.

Panting and barely breathing, Donghae is running fast chasing one of the criminals under this big drug syndicate case he’s been holding. They received a tip from a phone call and now they are conducting a raid.

It is so dark and only the beam of moon light illuminates the abandoned warehouse near the sea port.

He hears exchange of gunshots from outside. He’s sure that his team members were having encounters with the other criminals there too.

When he saw a shadow, he immediately fires hoping it will hit the criminal. He quickly covered himself after for the criminal might shoot him in return.

But then he didn’t hear any fire and no footsteps at all too.

He thought he might have hit him already.


Slowly going out of the cover, he aims his gun and prepared it for any possible danger.

And he was right.
The criminal was lying on its back with a bleeding right shoulder.

He aimed the gun to the criminal who slowly rose up holding the wound on the shoulder.
It’s then that he noticed that the criminal was wearing a bonnet down to the face, with only his eyes being exposed.

He slowly went near to the criminal to remove the cover from his face but then………..

Suddenly, he heard another gunshot.

But it came from behind him.

And before he knew it, his back sores.


She then heard a scream.
He’s not sure where it came from. He’s mind is getting dizzy.

When he turned his back to look behind, he saw another person holding a gun aiming at him. He knew that was the gun that just shot him.



He then fell on his knees.
He noticed the person getting closer to him still aiming the gun.


Donghae felt dizzier and dizzier. He couldn’t see the face of the person.
His mind is getting blurry.


He suddenly felt scared for a second.

He can’t be dead.
Not now.


The image of Hyun Ae came to his mind.

Hyun Ae…..


Death is near him, he could smell it.


He then heard many footsteps coming from another part of the warehouse.

He closed his eyes waiting for his death.
Moments passed, still nothing happened.

When he opened his eyes, the two criminals disappeared.



He then felt men carrying him.
They were his team members.

He felt relieved.

He can’t be dead like this.
He must see Hyun Ae.


He then felt his eyelids getting heavier.

He then lost his consciousness.

And when she arrived at the warehouse, she heard gun shots.
She quickly ran inside and hid somewhere.

Hyun Ae was looking for Jaejoong.
All in her mind was the thought of saving him.


But as she stepped forward, she then realized a man going after her.
She ran so fast to get of the man but he was fast too.

She quickly put onto her bonnet as she was running.

She looked at the man as she hid again from behind the wall.

She felt her knees weaken as she realized who it was.


“Do… Donghae?”


She felt everything were a déjà vu.
Donghae is after her again.
But this time, it’s almost life over death.


As she tried to escape from him, she just heard another shot of a gun.

She quickly lowered her body and it made her hit the floor.

She closed her eyes to feel where he just hit her.

But there is none.

All she felt was her previous wound in pain again.

She touched her wound and she felt the stitches bleed.

She lied on the floor feeling the pain.


There she noticed Donghae getting closer to her too.


And before he could totally get near him, she heard a gunshot and it just hit Donghae on his back.


“NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

She screamed.

When Donghae kneeled on his knees because of the shot, she then saw the image of the man behind Donghae.




“JAEJOONG??”

Tears came out of her eyes profusely.

She shook her head telling him not to do any further actions.

Just like what he did.

“Oppa anio….” She said without words coming out of .


Jaejoong realized what she said and held back himself again.

He really wanted to shot Donghae again.
For the second time, he almost killed her.


Jaejoong quickly took Hyun Ae in his arms and ran out of the warehouse where his car was secretly hidden.

Hyun Ae looked at Donghae as Jaejoong carried her in his arm.

She doesn’t want to leave him.
She wanted to help him with his wound.

She was crying terribly.
She couldn’t even compose herself.
All she wanted was them to be safe, but she failed.
Donghae was hurt.


And it was her fault.




“Donghaeya….. Donghaeya…..”


“He’ll be fine! Stop crying.”

Jaejoong told her as they were far away from the warehouse.
She was looking out of the window of the car tears still running down her cheeks.
