Jaejoong pulled her to get into his car and quickly drove away from the area.
She couldn’t even say a word after the incident.
She was staring outside the window of the car.
In her mind was still the impossible look Donghae gave her.
She couldn’t believe what’s happening.

“Why?” she said to herself.

“Anything wrong?” Jaejoong asked her when he finally stopped the car.

It was only then that Hyun Ae was able to regain herself.
She looked around and she noticed that they are already in front of a restaurant.

“Uhm… nothing.” She lied.

“I know, there’s something bothering you. I know you.”

“Oppa…”

“Don’t lie to me.”

She took a deep breathe before saying a word.

“I… I saw Donghae.”

Jaejoong became silent after hearing her statement.

“But he turned….. different.” She added.

“What do you mean?”

“It seems like he doesn’t know me at all. He was too formal.”

“I don’t get it.”

“Me… me too. He was like somebody else.”

“What are you planning now?”

“Plan? Nothing.”

Jaejoong just looked at her and didn’t say anything.

“C’mon let’s eat.” She said as she attempts to open the door.

But Jaejoong quickly stopped her hand from opening the door and stepped onto the accelerator and sped off.

“Jaejoong!” She screamed.

But Jaejoong wasn’t listening.
He drove so fast and didn’t listen.

She felt a bit scared on what Jaejoong was doing.
She’s sure that this has something to do with what she just said awhile ago….

About Donghae.

She still couldn’t figure out what’s up with him.
He’s really different.
Too different.


She gazed at the man beside him.
Jaejoong looked so serious.
He never gave a look at her as he was driving.
She couldn’t take the view of his mad face and so she just closed her eyes.

After few minutes the car went to another stop.

She slowly opened her eyes.
The place looked familiar.
But before her mind could recognize the place, Jaejoong grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him.

Their faces were so close and she could smell his breathe.
Jaejoong looked into her eyes.
And she felt so puzzled with his actions again.

And like what she’s thinking, he pulled her closer.
And this brought their lips together for a kiss.

Jaejoong held her nape by his right hand while his left was holding onto her chin, making sure that she’s going nowhere.
Hyun Ae was surprise by his sudden move and wasn’t able to react quickly.
All she could see was Jaejoong eyes closed tightly.


He was feeling the kiss.


She stopped for awhile.
Seeking for the emotions she might have hidden inside her heart for this man.
She tried to close her eyes to feel his kiss but there wasn’t.
There wasn’t a bit of the emotion she tried to match for Jaejoong warm kiss.


But never did she attempt to stop him.

Jaejoong then voluntarily ended the kiss.
He looked away from her after he released his grip on her.


“Why?” Jaejoong breathed.

She couldn’t understand him.
She didn’t know what to think too.


“I… don’t understand.”


“Why? Why can’t you kiss me back?”
There she felt a stab in her heart.

She asked herself too.
Why can’t she kiss him back?
Yeah, of course.
She doesn’t love him.



Finally, she was able to recognize that.
She tried so hard to love him.
But she couldn’t.


“Chuwa. You can go now.” Jaejoong said calmly.
He wasn’t even looking at her.

“Oppa…”

“Don’t… Hyun Aeya… Don’t….”
But this time, she understands him already.

“Hyun Aeya… I..I love you. Why can’t you love me?”


He’s hurting.

“Mianhe… I’m not ready.”



“And you will never be.” He answered her.


“Oppa…”


“Go now. It’s not me whom you needed.”

With this, Jaejoong went out to open the door for her.
She has no choice but to go out from the car.
He then closed the door of the car once she finally went out.

“Jaejoong….”


But Jaejoong didn’t answer and got into the car quickly.
She bent down her head to see him through the window.
His face looked so stiff and clearly, he’s mad.

Jaejoong then drove away.

And she was left there standing still.
She felt like crying.
She doesn’t know what to do.

After few seconds, she saw somebody went out from the door right behind her.
It was then that she realized she’s beside the street and close to an establishment.

No, it’s not an establishment. But an apartment.


She looked behind her to see.

In a moment her world stopped.

Again, for the second time in this day, she saw him.

“Miss? Have you seen a car here?”
Donghae asked her.

When she didn’t answer, she could here him mumbling words again.

“Jaejoong hyung said he’s here, where could he be?”

By then she understood what’s going on.
