three words: too many dialogues


 

"Thank you for coming, sir. Please come again!"

With a gasp, he stops dead on his tracks and turns back around looking a little scandalized. He approaches the barista and motions for him to lean close. "I did no such thing!" he shout-whispers right in his ear which earns him an equally scandalized look from the other.

"Excuse me sir?"

"Come! I did not come and I'm not planning to so don't tell me to come again!"

"But you did. I saw you, everyone saw you. You won't be inside if you didn't."

"You saw me? Inside?! Excuse your face but I don't need to be inside to come."

"Well it's a given that you'd come if you're inside."

His eye twitches, hands almost balled into fists. "You erted coffee man!"

"What did you just call me?"

"Coffee man?"

"No...the other thing."

"erted."

"Right. How was greeting you erted?"

He scoffs. "Oh so that's how you greet your customers?"

"Yes, do you have any problem with that?"

"Of course! You greet your customers in such an offending way!"

"With all due respect sir, what the is so offending about that?"

"Everything! Coming...being a peeping tom! Did I stuff my hand in my pants? Was I at my table? I didn't...so you cant just assume that I came. And for the record, I don't want to be inside anything. It's the other way around!"

"What the he-- oh...oh! I know what this is about!" Finally, Jaejoong is about to say when the barista continues speaking. "You, sir, are complaining so you'd get to have free stuff the next time you go here. I have no problem with that but please, if you are going to complain, make sure to make sense because you aren't making one right now."

Not able to stop himself, he grabs a fistful of the man's hair and tugs on it real hard. He ignores the stares given to them by the other customers and instead tugs on the taller man's hair harder, making him howl in pain. With his hands still attached to the other's locks, he tugs on it a few more times before letting go and storming off the coffee shop.

But not before stepping on the poor man's foot for good measure.





The next time he visits the shop, the barista is behind the counter glaring at him. "I hope you're happy to know that you injured my scalp and almost bore a hole in my foot." the man tells him.

He lets out a sigh. "I want to be the bigger person so I'm going to apologize. I'm sorry...although it's completely your fault."

"You must be out of your mind. Did you know how traumatized I was?"
