Sunnie removed the external thumb drive and kept it in her pocket.

 

She should send a copy to Danson in case anything happens.

Mike's voice scared Sunnie as she jerked a little.

 

Sunnie turned back and saw Mike staring at her.

 

"Ge, I…"

 

"You betrayed me?" Mike concluded once he saw all the statistics on his computer screen.

 

"I was just…"

 

Mike grabbed Sunnie's hand and pulled her close towards him. He placed his other hand on Sunnie's waist.

 

"Let go of me!" Sunnie struggled.

 

"Everything comes with a price. I won't let you leave this room, unless you've gotten your punishment." Mike smirked and forced a kiss onto Sunnie's lips.

 

Sunnie struggled and hit his chest.

 

Mike ignored all her protests.

 

"Argh!" Mike pushed Sunnie away, "You bit my lips?!"

 

Sunnie was terrified as she ran towards the door.

 

Mike grabbed Sunnie's hand and pulled her onto the bed.

 

He lie above her and touched her face.

 

"Don't be scared, I'll be gentle with you."

 

"Please… Ge… Let me go…" Sunnie's face was full of tears.

 

"I don't like it when you call me Ge…" Mike kissed Sunnie on her lips.

The door opened and Xiujie barged in.

 

He pulled Mike away and punched him in his face.

 

Xiujie grabbed Sunnie's hand and ran out of the room.

Xiujie and Sunnie were running away from Mike's bodyguards. The moment Xiujie brought Sunnie out of the mansion, the bodyguards began to keep chase and started firing. This scenario was just like what happened previously where he held her hand and ran away from the jewellery exhibition. How she wished that time would stop again…

 

Xiujie opened the van door.

 

"DT?!" Sunnie was surprised.

Sunnie nodded and hopped onto the van.

"Iceman guessed that you would take action tonight, he called me to stand by just in case you were discovered." Danson explained.

 

Sunnie looked at Xiujie.

 

He didn't have any expression as usual.

 

Danson knew that Xiujie won't say much, so he added. "He and the bimbo was an act. He got close to her to protect you and sabotage their plans."

 

Xiujie coughed.

 

"Are you alright?" Sunnie patted his back.

 

"Argh!"

 

Sunnie quickly removed her hand away.

 

She looked at her hand, "You're bleeding?"

 

Xiujie fell into Sunnie's arms as he coughed blood out.

 

"DT! Quick drive us to the hospital! Quick!"

 

Danson quickly made a turn and headed towards the hospital instead.

 

"Hang in there, we'll be reaching soon." Sunnie held Xiujie tightly.

 

Xiujie took out something from his pocket and placed it on Sunnie's hand.

 

"It's…" Sunnie looked at the keychain in her hand.

The next day. In the hospital. Outside Xiujie’s ward.

 

Aaron and Hebe came after they received Danson’s phone call. 

 

“How’s Iceman?” Aaron asked.

 

“Not too good,” Danson sighed, “The doctor said that he might remain in a coma.”

 

Aaron clenched his fists. Mike He has to pay for this.

 

Hebe stared worriedly at Aaron. Is he going to do something dangerous? Why does she has a bad omen about it?

 

“Sunnie is with him now.” Danson took out a thumb drive, “She passed this to me. She said it contained all of Mike He’s crime records.”

 

“That’s important evidence, I got to hand it to Jiro-sir!” Hebe exclaimed.

 

Aaron knocked Hebe out, letting her rest in his arms. He looked at Danson, “Help me look after her.”

 

“Where are you going?” Danson asked.

 

“It’s time to thrash things out.” Aaron showed no signs of emotions.

Later that night. At a warehouse.

 

Mike and Cyndi were dealing with gold with the French people. Just when the transaction is about to complete, Jiro and his team charged out with a group of police officers.

 

“Freeze!”

 

“Don’t move!“

 

Everyone was taken aback. 

 

“Impossible! How did you-” Mike was frustrated. How did the police found out about the transaction?!

 

Selina stepped out and stood beside Jiro.

 

Mike immediately understood, “You ! You betrayed me!”

 

“I knew you can’t be trusted!” Cyndi gave Selina a death glare.

 

Jiro shielded Selina protectively, “Mike He, you can’t escape now. Arrest him!”

 

Wangzi, Guigui and Xiaogui approached Mike. Mike saw a chance and took Guigui as a hostage.

 

“Let go of me!”

 

“Mike!” Wangzi pointed his gun at him.

 

“Stay back, or I’ll kill her!” Mike took the opportunity and ran away with Guigui.

 

“Guigui!” Wangzi ran after them.

 

“Xiaogui, take care of things here!” Jiro commanded and ran after Wangzi.

 

Xiaogui led the group of police officers to arrest Cyndi and the remaining people. Selina left without anyone noticing.
