After returning back to the pent house, I put her tripod on the ground. Faith took off her shoes and only then noticed all the blood that had been shedding from the big cut on the back of her leg. She gasped when she looked back at her leg, and I waited for her to put her camera away. When she did, I pulled her up, carrying her down the hall to the washroom.

"Put me down" she yelled. When I didn't, she ran her arms around me and hugged me tight. I breathed her in as I carried her towards the washroom. With a scent of sweat, I smelled the woods in her, probably because she wasn't afraid to go through holes or trees in order to get the picture she wanted. As we entered the washroom, I gently sat her down on the frame of the bathtub and took the adjustable shower into my hand. After waiting for the water to warm up, I showered her leg until all the blood was washed away. She watched me as I bent over and touched her leg. She pulled away and I looked at her. Tears were running down her cheeks, and I tried not to give any more pain than she was already in.

"Can you turn your leg around?" I asked, and she did. Unknowingly, her hand grabbed on to my t-shirt, crumpling it as I held the shower head to her leg.

"Ah!" she yelled once, and I moved the shower head away from her leg.

"Can you grab the towel?" I asked after turning the shower off, and she did.

"It's white. My blood will turn it all red" I bent my head down, hiding a smile at her concern. She was bleeding like there's no tomorrow, but she worried about the white towel than her leg.

"Give it to me." I said, wiping it slowly over the cut. After throwing it on to the laundry basket, I put my one arm around her back and the other under her legs.

"Are you going to carry me again?" she asked, and I nodded. "I'll walk" she said, after making a face.
