25th August 2019 -Part 2-

The lady froze in her seat. She looked calm on the outside but it was the exact opposite inside.

“Welcome” Aleyah managed to choke out as she regained her composure. Hopping down from her chair, she walked towards the man. He was wearing a red checkered top with a khaki pants and boat shoes. His pants were folded at the bottom so it landed above his ankles and his top two buttons were ed.

“Hello.” He bowed slightly as he scanned the store nervously before his eyes met hers.

“Flowers for you?” Her voice sound so calm and it made the man sighed in relieve.

“Yeah.” The man nodded as he put his hand into his pockets.

Aleyah couldn’t tear her gaze away from him. How can this man be so attractive and alluring at the same time? “Who is it for?” she asked as she smiled. The last thing she wanted was to deem as creepy and scare him off.

That question caught the man offguard. “Erm…” He looked up at her before biting his lower lips.  “My…”

“Your girlfriend?” She interrupted before he could finish his sentence. She knew he was nervous. Biting his lips was his habit when he’s nervous.

“Erm…”

“You can trust me. My lips are sealed.” Aleyah zipped with her hands before nodding at him. This action caused the man to smile for the first time he stepped into the shop.

“You know who I am?” Those dark eyes look at her in surprise.

To her, the question was beyond dumb. Obviously she knew who he was. The man he saw on the screen when she was 16, the man that caused her to come to Korea on impulse when she was 18.  The one and only person on this earth that is capable of sending adrenaline rush through her body. Like now. “Exo K’s Kai.” Her voice was filled with confidence when she said his name.

Unknowingly, Kai smiled wider than before. Initially, he was glad that the shop was empty and now he was more than relieved that this girl in front of him was not like any other fangirls who scream and hug upon seeing him.

“It’s for my fiancé.” Aleyah felt disappointed when those words came out from him. Although she knew it was dumb to feel so, she couldn’t control her feelings. She knew she shouldn’t behave like the other fangirls who cries when their favourite idol gets a girlfriend. Plus, she already knew Kai had a rumoured girlfriend all along. It was from the Exo mirrored 12 member girlgroup, SOD (Stage Of Dolls). However, she still can’t help feeling so.

Hiding her disappointment, she nodded in response. This means that the rumour was true. However, the rumour was wrong. It wasn’t Kai’s girlfriend, it was Kai’s fiancé.

Walking passed Kai, she went over to the rack of flowers. She tried to put the fiancé word at the back of her head. Taking a deep breath, Aleyah forced herself to focus. Her hands were playing piano in the mid air as she decides on the flowers. A triumph smile spread across her face before she pulled out orange spray roses, yellow miniature carnations and white traditional daisies and walked over to him. Little did she know that the man was staring at her in amazement as she did those actions. Not as though the man himself also realize that he was staring at her.

“What about this combination?” the orange, white and yellow combination was refreshing and Kai spaced out for that moment when he saw it.

Aleyah looked at him nervously. He didn’t look impressed with what she had picked. However, this was the best combination she could come up with. A few moments later, Kai smiled. “I will take these.” He said as he nodded at her.

“Give me a moment then.” She brought him to the table at the corner of the shop and served him flower tea while she wrapped his bouquet of flowers.

“There you go.” The bouquet of flowers was nicely wrapped when Kai looked up at her while sipping his tea.

“Thank you.” Kai put down his cup before carrying the bouquet from her. His warm hands brushed against hers in accident. Adrenaline rush surged through her again, it made her feel a little giddy this time.

“Welcome.” She mummered before turning her back from him to hide the blush that was forming on her cheeks.

Aleyah leaned against the wall when she heard the bells at the door jingled. Her hands went to her chest as she tried to ease the strong thumping. But it was useless. Her legs felt weak and her hands were trembling. How useless can she get? How can a stranger have such effect on her? If it wasn’t Kai’s manly cologne smell still lingering in her shop, she would have thought she was hallucinating all of this.

“By the way, you smell really good.” Kai’s voice was still ringing.

The 6^th time.

I really feel that this FF is definitely the first that i spent so much time writing. If you had been following me, maybe you will realize my writing style is a little different for this FF compared to the rest. Anw, I'm really loving this FF. I hope you will show your support by commenting and subscribing. This FF has too little subbies and comments. Hope to hear from you guys!

Truthfully, i don't really like Krystal although she's really pretty and all... but i admit Kai and her actually looks good together. What do you all think?
