We sometimes encounter people even perfect strangers, who begin to interest us at first sight, somehow suddenly, all of a sudden, before a word has been spoken.

“I need a break. I can’t take this anymore…” A girl in her teens whined to her group of friends as she crouched on the sidewalk.

“C’mon Aleyah. There are still many shops ahead!” Her friends dragged her by her arms to move forward.

“Why did I agree to come Seoul with you guys?!” She protested once again. It’s not that she doesn’t like to shop, it’s just that her bunch of friends have been shopping way too much. They started at 10am and it’s almost 3pm now.. they are nowhere near done.

“It’s so crowded here. Omg. Excuse me!” Her friend squeeze passed the crowd but Aleyah was stuck.

“Excuse me!” She tried to push pass but the schoolgirls were all glaring at her.

“Mia! Wait for me!” The black haired girl called out to her bunch of friends. Although she was considered tall in her country, the girls in Korea were still taller than her.

“Aleyah! Quick!”

“I can’t squeeze pass. Omg. I’m so sorry! Excuse me!!” She tried to move forward but was stuck.

“We will be inside this store okay??” Mia shouted and signaled to her. She nodded as she brave through the crowd once again. Coincidentally, the crowd were all girls and they were all in school uniform. Since she was stuck among them and unable to move forward, she started to analyze how pretty Korea’s winter school uniform was…

“Ahhhhh!!!!!” the crowd started to squeal as they pointed to the screen above them.

“Oppppppppaaaaaa!!

“Omo Opppaaaa!”

Aleyah didn’t understand a single thing they were saying. She was just annoyed that they kept screaming non stop and it was hurting her ears. Out of curiousity, she looked up to where they were pointing to.

That moment her eyes landed on the screen, she couldn’t shift her hazel coloured eyes away.  She felt as though electric currents surge through her body as she watched the guy on the screen dance. There was something about him that was attracting her, making dry. She knows it wasn’t his looks nor his extraordinary his dance moves, it was something else. However, she couldn’t explain what it was.

“What are you looking at?” Mia nudged her and she realized that the crowd was gone, so was the guy on the screen. She stood there for almost 10 minutes looking at the empty screen as people on the sidewalk pushed past her.

“Hello, earth to Aleyah?” Her other friend Anna called out. They were done with the shop and found their friend staring at a black screen on the opposite building.

“Uh.. yeah.” She snapped back to reality as she tried to figure out what just happen. Was she dreaming? If not why is she feeling so... lost.

“Are you okay my friend? You look like you lost your soul.” Her friends pulled her along the streets.

Yes she did, her soul had been held captive by a stranger.
