Lost In Paris
part of a double update
Miyun cringed slightly as Tao applied her makeup. It was her first day as a model after training for the last few weeks. Being stubborn and shy she is, she would only allow Tao to do her makeup.
"Hold still, you're gonna make me smudge your foundation." Tao said trying to dab on the liquid. Miyun pouted and sat still as he finished powdering her face.
"There, beautiful as ever." Tao said clapping his hands. Miyun stared into the mirror and hardly recognized herself.
Her make up was much heavier than she would ever wear it. She was amazed at how flawless her skin looked and how fierce her eyes seemed.
Soon the mirror not only held her reflection but Luhan's as well. Luhan s his arms around her neck and smiled. "You look great princess." He said ruffling her hair slightly.
"Yah!" Miyun said swatting his hand. "Tao just finished my hair." She said as Tao came over to brush back down her hair. Luhan chuckled and leaned against the make up table.
"You're already starting to sound like a model." He said slyly. Miyun rolled her eyes and got off her seat, clutching onto her robe before she changed.
Tao handed her a waist hugging black dress that would stop around her mid thighs. The sleeves of the dress would hang half way down her arm and were made of lace and the bust area held a small cut.
"Go change, you're on in ten." Tao said pushing her towards the dressing room.
As she stepped into the changing room, she could hear Luhan standing outside. As his fingers wrapped around the curtain to pull it open, Miyun snatched it close. "Don't think about it Xi." She said.
She could hear Luhan chuckle. "Fine, fine." Miyun blew a rasberry before changing into her dress.
"Done?" Luhan called out. Miyun hummed in reply as Luhan stepped in, eyeing his girlfriend. Miyun pressed her lips into a thin line as she looked at herself in the mirror.
She felt uncomfortable and exposed. The dress definitely fit her well and fit the formal, y theme of the magazine but she found it almost scandalous. Her legs look elongated paired with the black pumps she wore and her body looked perfectly curvy.
"You look great." Luhan said wrapping his arms around her waist. She stiffened standing uncomfortably. "Then why do I feel like the moment I sit down, my are going to show." She said irritably.
Luhan bursted out laughing as Miyun blushed and tugged on the bottom of her dress. Luhan rested his hands over hers and pulled them away gently. "You won't. You look great Miyun. They're going to love you."
Miyun sighed as Luhan laced their fingers and pulled them out to the photo shoot area.
The theme was sophisticated night life for the brand Armani Exchange.
Once they got onto the photo shoot scene, the director told Xiumin to tell Luhan that he would be up first. He smiled at her one last time before releasing her hand.
Miyun watched as Luhan looked at the camera and simply posed but she could see how charismatic he looked. She wondered if she could possibly look that good.
Over the last few weeks of preparing, so many people told her she was a natural but honestly she didnt think so. To her, her photos looked so plain and simple but everyone said they were professional and beautiful.
At last her time was up and she was suppose to go and pose for her single shots before joining Luhan. Luhan came back and gave her a hand a squeeze, "You're up princess. Good luck, you're going to be great."
Miyun gave him a weak smile before letting out a nervous breath. She stepped onto the white background. Xiumin got the instructions from the director and nodded before walking towards Miyun.
"So you're just going to sit right there on that chair, look at the camera and just don't smile. Try to be fierce okay?" Xiumin said. Miyun nodded nervously and Xiumin could probably see right through her.
"You'll be fine. Don't worry, Luhan will be up with you in a bit." Xiumin said patting her shoulder.
Miyun smil weakily before taking a seat on the chair. She looked off at Xiumin and she could see he was imitating the pose she was supposed to do.
Resting her hand under her chin and slightly tilting her head, she turned slightly away from the camera and stared at the floor.
She saw a few flashes of lights before Xiumin called her name and showed her the next pose. So far no one told her to stop, so she was pretty happy. She let out another breath before resting her hands and chin on the edge of the chair and stared at the camera blankly.
After a few more shoots, she was relieved to see Luhan walking onto the scene. "You looked great. The photographer loved you." He said taking her into his arms.
She released a relieved breath and rested her head against his chest. "I'm glad, I thought I screwed up terribly." She mumbled.
Luhan kissed her head before pulling away. "You were anything but that princess. Now c'mon, a few more shots and we can go explore Miami." He said.
Miyun nodded as she joined Luhan onto a more darker setting, the background was a deep green with red wooded furniture.
Luhan sat on the couch as she climbed on and rested both her knees, kneeling on the long couch.
"Rest your arms around my neck and look down at the floor." Luhan whispered. Miyun did what he told her and leaned against him, wrapping her arms loosely around his neck and stared at the floor until she hear a few snaps.
After multiple poses, Luhan smiled and kissed her cheek as the photographers got more film. "Last one."
Miyun smiled happily since she was itching to escape the studio to go explore America.
"Just kiss my cheek in this one." Luhan said cheekily. Miyun stared at him in disbelief. She realized he was serious when he stared at her, smirking.
"You got to be kidding me." She muttered. Luhan smiled, making his eyes turn into cute half crescents as he squeezed his eyes cutely. "C'mon, give oppa a kiss."
"I'm going to hit you with my shoe after this," Miyun said threateningly. Luhan only smiled as he got into his pose. Miyun tiled her head and kissed his cheek until she heard a few snaps.
Before she could pull away, Luhan turned his head and captured her lips. She opened her eyes in shock when she heard a snap of the camera.
When Luhan pulled away, he began to laugh at her burning cheeks. "You jerk." She said hitting his shoulder repeatedly as he laughed.
He grabbed her arms and held them tightly so she couldn't hit him anymore. "Oh c'mon, don't be embarrassed princess."
"I'm not embarrassed, I'm mad!" She whined. He raised his brow before she pouted, "okay fine, embarrassed too."
Luhan smiled and kissed her fingers making her squirm even more.
As the two were fighting on the couch, Xiumin came over and hit them both on the head with his clipboard. "C'mon, shoots over you love birds. Tao and I are hungry and we want to head out to eat."
The two began to laugh as they got up to change and leave the shoot.
Miyun bit into her fajita before her lips. Luhan adjusted his shades as Xiumin handed him his.
"Should an idol like me really be eating street food." Luhan said pouting. Miyun stared at him before raising her brow. Luhan pouted and bit into his food and ate silently.
Miyun smiled smugly and finished her food before wiping her fingers.
They were on a board walk at the beach, just relaxing after their photoshoot. After finishing their lunch, Luhan and Miyun linked fingers before leaving Xiumin and Tao behind to spend some time alone.
They walked along the beach in a comfortable silence. Miyun was truly having the time of her life but seeing friends on the beach having fun, she wondered about Chanyeol.
From time to time, they'd check in on each other but due to events and time differences, they could hardly speak for more than 20 minutes without having to hang up. And even after that, they wouldn't contact each other until weeks later.
Last time Miyun called, Chanyeol was in Egypt. He said he was having fun but he missed her and she couldn't help but feel the same. She and Chanyeol were never seperated for long and this was the longest they've been away from each other.
But she was happy Luhan was around to keep her happy. Luhan truly made her happy and he made her feel special. She didnt want to say anything but over the past few months, Miyun truly felt like she was falling in love with Luhan and she wondered if he felt the same.
"It's really pretty here." Luhan said. Miyun nodded in agreement, the waters were clear and the sand was clean and sparkling. The sand was warm under their toes as they walked around on the beach.
"Yeah, the water looks amazing." Miyun said adjusting her sunglasses and hat. She turned to Luhan to find him smiling, "then let's see if it really is."
"Luhan what are you—" Miyun couldn't finish her sentence when Luhan picked her up and carried her waist deep into the water.
She shrieked as she clung to his neck as he lowered her. "Xi Luhan, I swear." She said looking down at the water that was hardly brushing against her shorts and t-shirt.
"Oh c'mon, you said it looked amazing so why not see for yourself." Luhan teased dipping her into the water.
She squealed and hit his shoulder making him stumble back. "Luhan, I swear if you fall!" She said hugging him tightly.
Luhan laughed and set her into the water despite her protests. She stood in the cool water, stiffly as the water soaked her clothes. At this point, Luhan's Capri shorts and shirt were soaking wet too.
"Xiumin is going to kill us!" Miyun whined remembering how the male said to stay out of trouble.
Luhan wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close. "Stop worrying and just live in the moment." Luhan said.
Miyun pouted and rested her hands on his chest. "But—"
She was interuppted when Luhan captured her lips and pulled her closer. It was all out of the blue but she didnt deny it. Melting into his kiss, she clutched onto his shirt and pulled him closer.
He pulled away leaving a breathless and blushing Miyun. He knocked their foreheads together and panted lightly, "I love you."
Miyun's eyes widened as her heart quickened pace. Luhan stared at her with such intensity that could practically feel his love radiating off of him.
"You're the best thing that has ever happened in my life Park Miyun." He whispered softly against her lips.
Miyun could see the worry growing in his eyes as he waited for a reply from her. She thought about teasing him but he looked like he was on the verge of tears when she stayed silent with a blank face.
Raising her fingers to his face, she rested them under his eyes and rubbing his cheek bones gently. "You look like you're about to cry." She chuckled.
Luhan's jaw dropped as he pulled away, rubbing his eyes with his arm. "Miyun, stop playing with my heart. You're scaring me."
She couldn't help but giggle at how cute he looked pouting as he waited for her anger. If she knew teasing him would make him look this cute, she would've stuck with her plan. "Come here Luhan."
She opened her arms but Luhan only stayed apart from her. When Luhan refused to walk to her, she walked to him to only have him try to push her away.
"I love you too." She giggled kissing his forehead.
She felt Luhan tightened his grip as he wrapped his arms around her. "That wasnt funny princess." He whined.
Miyun laughed as she ruffled his bangs. "It was hilarious to me."
Luhan scoffed and kissed her gently, "You're terrible."
"But you love me." She joked.
"I do."

Weekend is ending soon so I thought I might as well do a double update since I won't be able to do much updating during school especially this month since I have mid year exams and I neglected this story for awhile.
...am I updating too much lmfao...
gonna go finish homework now. Love you all ^-^
