Lost In Paris

Chanyeol sat at the kitchen counter of his friends' house as Kyungsoo finished washing off the plates from dinner. Chanyeol and the others were fine but he and Sehun were anything but fine.

He had angered the younger badly and Chanyeol knew it himself.

He had cooled down and decided he was being selfish of her. Though it hurt, he'll let her have her moment but he wasn't going down without a fight.

Suho looked up at the clock and noticed it was 9:40 p.m. meaning the bus for Chanyeol and Miyun's tour was coming in 20 minutes. "Hey Chanyeol, you should probably tell Miyun to come by here quickly because your bus is coming."

Chanyeol looked at the clock and nodded. He grabbed his phone from Baekhyun's room where it sat charging thanks to Baekhyun's spare charger. He sent a text to Miyun telling her it was time to meet up.

He didn't want to seem too cold in the text, but he didn't want to sound like nothing between them happened. After deleting and re typing the message over and over, he clicked the send button.

She better hurry.

"That's so cool!" Miyun chuckled as she sipped her iced tea. Luhan had been telling her of his travels on his tour. He was on the story where he sang for the Queen of England after she invited him for tea. Apparently she saw him on TV and immediately had to meet "the wingless angel."

"It was nothing!" Luhan blushed. Miyun shook her head and gave him a smile, "No really oppa! That's amazing! I wish my life was as exciting." She chuckled.

Luhan raised his brow, "How about we make that wish come true then?" Miyun tilted her head to the side. Luhan called over for the bill and quickly signed his name on the receipt.

He stood up and grabbed his jacket before waiting for Miyun. She stood up and looked at him confused. "Don't we have to pay?"

Luhan smirked, "Not when you're given a free meal because you're a celebrity. Besides I know the owner and he never minds as long as I come and attract customers."

She mouthed the word "wow" and quickly went to Luhan's side. Luhan opened the door leading out the night life of the Champs- Élysées. Miyun liked the cool night breeze and looked around, gazing at the busy street. She spotted a mint colored motor bike. It zipped by them two and Luhan smiled as he saw Miyun gaze at it curiously.

"It's called a Vespa." He commented. She nodded as she watched the mint bike disappear behind the mess of cars and people.

"And that's gonna be our transportation for the night." He whispered. She felt her cheeks grow warm with his angelic voice whispering to her.

Luhan took out his phone and texted someone.

Before Miyun could say anything, she saw another Vespa ride up to them. This one was cherry red with a white stripe running down it's front panel. She saw the driver hop off and walk up to Luhan, handing him the keys.

"Here you go Mr.Xi. Your Vespa. Helmets are in the back." The person bowed and when he came back up, Miyun could see him more clearly. It was Xiumin if she was correct. Luhan's PA.

"Hail a taxi to get back okay?" Luhan said before pulling Miyun to the motorcycle. She turned back to find Xiumin waving his hand around for a taxi. Was he really just going to leave Xiumin like that?

Her thoughts disappeared when Luhan placed a white helmet on her head and strapped it for her. She was shocked but found herself gazing at his doe eyes. "So you stay safe." He chuckled squishing her cheeks together.

She watched as he placed a shiny black helmet over his honey blonde hair and strapped the straps. He climbed on, igniting the Vespa. He motioned for her to get on. After positioning herself, Luhan grabbed her hands and placed it around his waist. "Hold on okay?"

She nodded as they sped off. The roar of the engines around them and the night life filled her ears.

She had failed to notice her phone ringing endlessly.

"Please just 5 minutes!" Chanyeol begged. The tour guide shook her head and pushed his shoulder gently down.

"Mr.Park. I was clear this morning when I said the bus will leave when it has to. Miss Park will need to find her own way home." She said sternly.

Chanyeol looked down at his phone and frowned. He had sent countless messages after he left Suho's apartment.

Chanyeol: Miyun, where are you?

Chanyeol: Miyun seriously. The bus is leaving soon.

Chanyeol: Can you please answer your calls?

Chanyeol: Miyun are you that mad? Look can we talk about this back at the hotel. Please, I don't know if I'll be able to stall them.

Chanyeol: Are you okay?

Chanyeol: I can't stall the tour guide.

Chanyeol sighed and pressed his thumbs against the screen as he typed his last message.

Chanyeol: We're leaving.

He slipped his phone back into his back pocket and picked up his bag and placed it on the empty seat next to him. He gazed out the window. Did he mess up that badly that Miyun didn't want to talk to him?

He furrowed his brows and rested his forehead against the cool glass. Miyun I'm sorry.

He watched as they exitted the Champs-Élysées and began their way home. Chanyeol lifted his head and stared foreward.

His heart ached, wondering where she was, if she was okay, if she was safe. But of course he knew she was, she was with Luhan; her dream guy who somehow found his way into her heart.

"Miyun..." He whispered before resting his head back. It was going to be a long ride home. A long and quiet ride.

"Are you liking what you're seeing?" Luhan shouted from the front as he zipped by the glittering buildings. Miyun nodded against his back.

"Over there is the Ponts des Arts, you know the bridge with the padlocks!" Luhan said as he drove towards the bridge.

She smiled remembering the bridge well. She picked up her head from her resting position as Luhan slowed down near the bridge and eventually stopping. She tilted her head, "What are we doing?"

Luhan stepped down and helped her off. The two unstrapped their helmets and hung them on the handles. "I wanted to show you how it looked at night."

She mouthed the word 'oh' before walking towards bridge. As she was walking away, Luhan went to the little containment area and looked for what he had asked Xiumin to grab for him on his way there. Luhan smiled as his fingers wrapped around a gold padlock and a pair of keys.

He ran up to Miyun and stood beside her as she gazed over the bridge.

"So? What do you think?" Luhan asked as he nervously played with the lock in his hand.

"Beautiful." She muttered as she admired the river and how it twinkled as lights glared off it.

"Yeah...exactly what I thought when I saw you too." He chuckled. She turned to him quickly and saw him smirk. Her cheeks grew red and she yelled at herself for looking stupid.

"Y-Yah!" She muttered. He laughed as he grabbed her hand, tangling their fingers together. She blushed and felt something poking her palm. She pulled away to find a pair of keys. She was confused but when she looked up, Luhan dangled the padlock in front of her face.

"Miyun, do you want to put this padlock on with me?" He said shly. Her jaw dropped but she quickly picked it back up. She gazed down at the pair of keys and blushed as she ran her fingers over them.

She felt Luhan tilt her chin up, gazing at her sweetly. "I know it's all really sudden but you're just...really special Miyun."

His kind words made her feel weak in the knees. He chuckled, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. He continued, "I don't know what it is about you but...you just make me really happy on the inside as cliche as that sounded. I have never really felt this way about anyone and I want to keep what we have last for a long time." He held up the padlock which had the letters M and L engraved. "It doesn't need to mean we're going out...but instead I want it to mean that what we have for each other stays safe."

She felt the butterflies in her stomache flutter madly as he gave her a warm smile. She held her breath and swore if she didn't breathe anytime soon, she'd burst just like her heart. Xi Luhan, the Xi Luhan liked her. Her, Park Miyun, average girl from Korea attracted an international icon.

Luhan grabbed her hand and held it tightly, "So what do you say?"

Miyun nodded her head nervously. A smile grew across Luhan's face as he guided her hand to attach the lock to the bridge. He picked her up and motioned for her to place it on the highest spot, clear from the others. She latched it to the bridge and locked it. Luhan put her down.

Miyun knew what was next; you throw the key into the river. Her fingers ran over the two keys and secretly slipped one of them into her pocket subconsciously. She handed Luhan the key but he shook his head.

"Together."

She nodded as the two latched hands over the key and tossed it into the river as far as they could.

She felt his arm snake around her waist and pull her close. "May nothing break what we have." He whispered before leaning in close.

She could feel his lips hovering over hers. This was it, she was finally going to get that dream kiss from Luhan. They were about to kiss when her phone rang loudly.

The two stumbled back in shock. Miyun blushed and cursed under her breath as she pulled out her phone. Luhan rubbed his neck as a tint of red overtook his pale cheeks.

She glared at the screen but then softened. Sehun?

"Yobseyo? Sehun?" She asked.

"Noona, are you with Chanyeol now? He tried contacting you earlier but you wouldn't pick up. I just wanted to make sure you got home safely." He chirped.

Oh. My. God. Chanyeol

Miyun felt her heart race when she pulled the phone away from her ear and saw the time. 11:30, she had missed the bus back an hour and a half ago. She had ditched Chanyeol.

"Hello? Noona? You okay?"

"Hun baby, noona is fine. I have to go now okay? I'll talk to you later." She ended the call before he could reply. A cold sweat broke down her back and she felt sick.

Luhan noticed her face grow pale. "Miyun are you okay?"

She simply shook her head and almost collapsed if Luhan hadn't caught her. "MIYUN?!" Luhan shouted.

She muttered something under her breath but Luhan couldn't make it out.

"Oppa...please take me home." She whimpered against his chest fighting off the lump in .

Chanyeol lied on his bed staring at the ceiling as the moon light filled the room.

It was midnight. Miyun was still gone and hadn't replied at all.

He turned to his side facing her bed and the sickness in his stomach came back.

Was she okay? Was she with Luhan? What if she wasn't? What if she's not okay?

Endless thoughts filled his head when he heard the door click. He didn't know why but he instantly shut his eyes and pretended to be asleep.

"Thank you oppa. I'm sorry I had to leave so abruptly. I'll talk to you soon okay?" Miyun's voice chirped. Chanyeol could tell she was struggling to keep her voice steady. But for what reason?

He heard Luhan say something mushy and chose to tune it out. Why bother listening?

The door closed and he heard the tap from the bathroom start running. His eyes stayed open as the water ran but closed once again, pretending to be asleep, as Miyun was finished.

He could hear the bathroom door click as she stepped out. He could smell her light fragrance, so he dug his face into his blanket to prevent him from inhaling. Her scent made him weak in the knees and that's the last thing he wanted to be right now. Weak.

He could hear drops of water hit his bed sheets. Actually, he could hear her breathing, signaling she was dangerously close to him.

Miyun sighed. She wasn't stupid. No one sleeps with such a perfect face on, especially Chanyeol who's lips were usually parted with some weird facial expression. She rested her head on the edge of his bed. When was he going to wake up and stop pretending.

He pretended to snore but failed miserably because he ended up coughing like crazy. Miyun pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Chanyeol...wake up." She said. He rustled under the blankets. Her voice turned into a whimper. She felt bad enough that she forgot about him but now he was avoiding her. "Chanyeol please..."
