Lost In Paris

Miyun walked through the maze, admiring the cute little figures of characters around every bend. Her phone died and she was still no where close to the castle. She didn't know how much time had gone by, but she was pretty sure Chanyeol wouldn't have mind waiting a bit.

She passed by the Cheshire cat and stopped for a moment staring at the purple figure. The machine was speaking French, but since Miyun didn't speak any, she just ignored it.

The cat had a sinister smile, but though it's goal was to be creepy, Miyun thought it was funny. The toothy grin reminded her of Chanyeol. The way he would smile widely when he was happy. His natural smiled showed many teeth and Miyun couldn't help but smile at the thought of him.

She loved his smile and his smiles could cheer anyone up, even her when she was down. No one ever had that affect on her except for Chanyeol. She didn't know what it was about his smile, but she could always find herself smiling along with him.

Her thoughts got interrupted when a teenager walked by her with Luhan's music playing loudly from his iPod. She suddenly thought to Luhan and his smile. It wasn't toothy or wide. Usually it was a soft smile, his lips pressed together. Occasionally he'd flash her a smile that would reveal his perfectly alined teeth but not nearly as many as Chanyeol.

She felt weak whenever he smiled at her but she could never find herself smiling naturally after his. She'd smile in the spur of the moment, but now that she thought about it, was it even because of Luhan or just the idea of dating a super gorgeous idol?

She frowned and compared the two in her mind. She definitely preferred Chanyeol's smile but she liked Luhan though. It confused her on why Luhan couldn't have the same effect on her. Wasn't she suppose to be head over heels for the gorgeous, honey blonde Chinese?

She shook her head and continued her way to the castle. She could just see it over head. It wasn't too far now, and probably would take her a couple of minutes to reach.

The thought of her choosing Chanyeol over Luhan still confused her. She liked Luhan, not Chanyeol or at least in a dating sense. Chanyeol was obnoxious, out going, loud and the opposite of her. Luhan was calm, collective, romantic and talented; something she really liked.

She shrugged off the though and shoved her hands into her pockets. She walked up the steps to the castle and went to the top and searched for a giant figure but she couldn't find anyone that fit that description. She went to the edge and peered over. Don't tell me that he didn't make it yet?

She searched the maze and saw a tall figure, running through crowds pushing his way to the spot where she and Chanyeol split. Is that Chanyeol?

She squinted her eyes and she was right. It was Chanyeol. He held onto his cap as he ran through crowds. Is he looking for me?

Miyun did not hesitate to run back down the steps and try to catch up with him. She pushed her way through crowds. "This idiot...he should've just stayed where he was..." She whispered under her breath as she shoved random people out of her way.

Chanyeol waited for her but grew impatient. What if she's lost?

He told himself that this was a maze meant for little kids which meant the possibilities of getting lost were minimal but he couldn't stand the idea thinking she possibly was lost or something happened. Maybe he was over reacting considering not much danger could be in a children's park but still.

What if she fell and is hurt? What if she left the maze and is wandering around Disney lost?! What if someone kidnapped her? What if she already left? What if Luhan was here and got to her first?! Okay the last one was probably most likely not going to happen but Chanyeol was not going to lose this time.

He ran towards the direction to the area where they split and hopefully he could find her somewhere around there. She couldn't have gotten that far right?

He ran past people and did not even notice or care about the people he pushed pass. He just wanted to find Miyun. She occupied his mind, not like this is a new thing anyways.

The idea of Luhan suddenly appearing and taking her away pushed Chanyeol to hurry. He was not going to let the church incident happen again. He wasn't going to lose to Luhan. He wasn't going to lose Miyun to Luhan especially.

That unnatural honey blonde Chinese irked Chanyeol to the highest degree. The way he thinks he can just march in on his and Miyun's vacation and try to take her from him? Ridiculous. Miyun was his best friend. He tried not to feel so possessive but it was hard to watch the girl you love like leave for another man.

He reached the spot where they split and he looked around frantically. "MIYUN!" He shouted. No answer. Is she here? He started to walk around the area, looking for signs of her.

"MIYUN!" He shouted once more.

"PABO!" He heard a faint yell back. Considering the area was filled with non-Koreans, he knew it had to be one person. He turned around and saw Miyun standing at one of the paths giving him a what-the-hell look.

Miyun suddenly felt herself against his chest. His cologne filled the air and she couldn't help but feel weak in the knees. He had his arms wrapped around her tightly, acting as if he let her go, she'd disappear from his sight.

What's with him?! Miyun struggled against his hold but he wouldn't budge. He bent down and rested his chin on her head and then placed his cheek on her hair. "Thank god you're okay."

Her nose crinkled at his statement. "Of course I am, why wouldn't I be?" She loosened herself, but he kept a hold on her arms. She couldn't help but blush with him looking down at her with those big sad eyes of his that were filled with worry. She could see he was scared to death. She didn't know why but she saw his pain anyways.

"I thought Lu-...nothing. I'm just glad you're okay, got it?" He said softly. He brought her back to his chest. Lu...Luhan? She thought. What the heck does he have to do with anything?

Chanyeol finally released her when he was sure with himself she wouldn't be going anywhere after he let her go. He unraveled his arms and she left his embrace but for some reason she felt alone and empty. She pouted but shook the feeling away.

"C'mon, let's get out of here." Chanyeol said. He smiled warmly, giving his infamous toothy grin. Miyun found herself smiling secretly as he smiled. She was about to take a step forward when she felt his fingers wrap around hers. She looked up and gave him a confused look.

"So you don't get lost again." He curled his fingers tighter and pulled her along with him.

"Channie win me something!" Miyun squealed as Chanyeol took hold of a ball. He stuck out his tongue from the corner of his mouth and concentrated.

The standee stood smirking knowing that there was no way Chanyeol would win. Chanyeol blew his bangs out of his face and threw the ball as hard as he could, which sent the tower of bottles flying around the stand.

The worker's jaw dropped as Miyun screamed, jumping up and down. Chanyeol blew on his fists and gave the worker a victorious grin. "Choose something Yunnie."

She stopped jumping and crinkled her nose at the nickname. She rolled her eyes and looked at the stand which held giant stuffed animals of all different sizes. Her eyes scanned over giant teddy bears, disney characters until her eyes stopped on one. It was a deer, Bambi to be exact. It had big dolly eyes which reminded her of Luhan.

Before she could open , Chanyeol noticed her staring at the Bambi doll and frowned, noticing the resemblance it had with the honey blonde Chinese. "Mickey and Minnie." He said, pointing to the two medium sized stuffed animals.

Miyun frowned and turned to him as he grabbed the stuffed animals. He handed her the Minnie doll and smiled.

"What was that?! I wanted the Bambi doll!" She pouted, taking the doll under her arm. He shrugged, "It was ugly."

She rolled her eyes and adjusted the ears on her head. He smiled and started to chuckle.

She raised her brows, "What's so funny Park?" He smiled and pulled out his own ears he had been hiding. She looked confused as he placed the ears on his head and held the Mickey doll up to his face. "Now we match."

She realized she was wearing Minnie ears and started to laugh, "I guess."

He pulled out his phone and turned it to the front facing camera, "Let's take a picture!" She nodded, getting close to him. Their arms touched which sent chills up her spine. She cocked her head for a brief moment before looking at the camera.

The two held up their new dolls and gave a big grin. Chanyeol took the picture and laughed, "We look like a family." She grabbed the phone and smiled. They did look like one. "I guess we do." She gave him the phone and continued to walk.

The sky soon grew dark. After a day of going on rides and playing games, Chanyeol dragged Miyun towards the Ferris Wheel for their last ride.

The cart opened and the two stepped inside. Within seconds, they were lifted from the ground and stopped in halfway to the top. Miyun looked out the window and smiled at the sight. In the far distant, she could see the Eiffel Tower peaking out from the horizon.

Chanyeol watched her as she stared out the glass windows. He couldn't help but gaze at her, noticing how she glowed under the lights of the ferris wheel. The lights twinkled off of her making her glow like an angel. Or at least in his opinion.

The cart continued to move until it stopped at the top. Miyun jerked forward at the sudden stop and bumped against Chanyeol. He caught her in his arms and blushed as she gazed into his eyes.

It was lucky it was dark because the two became as red as tomatoes at the sudden contact. Miyun never noticed how good looking Chanyeol was. Under the night lights, his milky skin glowed and the lights reflected off his almond eyes making them twinkle. His jaw was chiseled and he had smooth flawless skin.

She pulled away and smiled sheepishly. She looked away at the window.

Chanyeol watched as she pulled away and frowned. He wished they could've stayed like that. He sighed and gazed around him. Here they were in a ferris wheel, at the top in the night. It was the perfect scene. Too perfect.

He wasn't going to let the opportunity slip by him. Not with Luhan in the picture now. It was now or never that he told her how he was feeling. They only had a week left in Paris and who knows how much could go on in that one week.

It was hardly even a few days until Luhan appeared out of the blue. Too much can happen in so little time so he decided not to let the moment slip away.

Others would kill to have a moment like this so he decided it was the right time. He was going to tell her, he thought she was beautiful, that she was perfect, that he liked her.

"Miyun?" His voice broke as he called out. He mentally scolded himself for sounding like an idiot.

She answered with a hum. She turned to him to find him biting his lip nervously. Even with the lack of light, she could tell he was nervous, about what? She didn't know. She reached out and placed her hand on his, "You okay? You seem nervous. Don't tell me you're afraid of heights?" She chuckled softly as he shook his head.

"Then what is it? You can tell me." She smiled which only made Chanyeol more nervous. Her smile weakened his knees, made him tongue tied, slurred his speech. In short, it made him weak.

"Miyun..." He grabbed her hand and played with her fingers. She nodded and smiled. "Uhh...I don't know how to say this so I'll make it short..." He let out a sigh and shook his shoulders slightly.

She grew nervous. Is he okay?

She tightened the grip on his hand thinking it would make him feel better but it made him melt even more. "I-I...uh...l-lik..."

There was a loud boom that sent the two flying backwards to their own seats. Miyun clutched her chest as she looked out the window. There were fireworks filling the air. Her jaw dropped and soon turned into a smile.

Colorful lights filled the air. She turned to Chanyeol who looked slightly disappointed. She cocked her head to the side, "You okay Channie? Keep going. I'm all ears."

He smiled and took a deep breath, "Miyun I like you." Once again the air filled with fireworks, drowning out his voice.

Miyun furrowed her brows, "What? Say that again?"

Chanyeol sighed, "Miyun, I like you."

But his voice was once again drowned out by the exploding light show. She tilted her head to one side. He groaned in frustration and gripped his hair tightly. Miyun pouted, "Tell me later?"

He nodded and sighed. He wanted to tell her now but later was better than anything right?

Sangchol took the last turn before reaching their hotel. He gazed into the rearview mirror and saw Chanyeol running his fingers through Miyun's hair as she slept on his shoulder.

"So what did you guys do today?" He asked. Chanyeol looked up and smiled, "We went to Disney, it was really fun." Sangchol nodded before stopping in front of their hotel. He ran out and opened the door for Chanyeol so he could carry Miyun in.

"Thanks Sangchol." Chanyeol said carrying Miyun in bridal style. Before Chanyeol could walk into the hotel, Sangchol grabbed his shoulder and pulled him close. "Listen son. Miyun is a beautiful girl, make your move before she's gone."

Sangchol released him and waved before getting into his cab. Chanyeol blushed and nodded at Sangchol. "Am I that obvious...?" He asked no one. He carried Miyun up to their room and laid her gently on her bed.

He changed into his own clothes and climbed into bed. He took one last look at Miyun, "If I'm that obvious that Sangchol could even tell, then why can't you Miyun..."
