They were pretty enough to be called Witches.

They were masculine enough to be called Warlocks.

They were powerful enough to be called Wizards.

But none of those terms exactly fit them.

But they knew magic. Magic was what they were good at. What they were born to do.

But their reasonably peaceful lives change when a young witch appears on their doorstep; who does not know who or what she is.

Why is she there?

Why can't she leave?

And why won't they let her leave?
