A small ray of sunshine peeked through Danny's window and touched his face. He opened his eyes slowly before rolling out of the light's reach. Too lazy to get up, he continued to lay on the bed for a couple more minutes. The smell of bacon, however, caused him to rise up like the undead and slip on his blue slippers. He walked across the hall to his bathroom to freshen up, then headed to the kitchen where his mother was cooking breakfast.

"Day off?" He asked, taking a seat on one of the stools.

"Yes sir," She replied. "Your father had to go downtown to drop off his illustrations so looks like it's going to be mother-son time."

"I couldn't imagine any other way to spend my Sunday," Danny said, giving his mother a big smile. She smiled back and brought the pan to the counter and started using the spatula to place the bacon and eggs on our plates. Danny got up and grabbed two glasses from the cabinet. He poured them both orange juice before joining his mom at the table.

"Did you and Bang get home ok?" she asked.

"Yeah." Danny took a sip from his drink and then looked at his mom. "I still don't get why you didn't let me go with Daehyun. He really doesn't mind."

"That's not what I heard," his mother replied. Suddenly her cellphone rang. She looked at the caller ID and sighed. "Hello? Yes...I understand. I'm on my way." Danny frowned as his mother hung up the phone.

"Hospital called you in?" He assumed. She nodded her head.

"Sorry."

"Don't be." He watched her put her plate in the dishes and head up the stairs to change. His thoughts went back to last night with Bang. Lately he's been acting strange, more like the Bang he used to be friends with. He didn't understand it, especially since Bang isn't the type to fake being friendly for the sake of someone else. He heard his mother come back down the stairs.

"Ok, honey, I'll call later to check up on you!" Danny heard her open the door. "Oh! Hey, Daehyun, come on in. Bye sweetie!" He heard the door close and when he turned around his body was wrapped in Daehyun's arms.

"Whoa!" Danny cried out, although his voice was muffled by Daehyun's shoulder. When he finally let him go, Danny gave him a small kiss. "Someone's happy to see me."

"Well yeah, I haven't spent a Saturday by myself since I we started dating." He said, sitting on the stool Danny had sat on earlier.

"Yeah, sorry about that. I don't know why my mom acted like that." He started cleaning up his mess.

"Can I be honest with you?" Daehyun asked. Danny turned to look at him and noticed that his face had turned serious. Danny nodded his head. "I hated seeing you with Bang yesterday."

"Really?" Danny asked, sitting on the stool across from him. "Why?"

"I don't know. I just hate that after everything he's put you through he thinks he can just take you home like nothing's happened." Danny couldn't help but smile at how angry his boyfriend was.

"Aww, my knight in shinning armor." He walked over to him and wrapped his arms around the other boy's neck. He leaned in and pressed his lips in a passionate kiss. Daehyun smiled into the kiss before pulling away for air.

"Can your shining knight make a suggestion?" He asked. Danny nodded again and Daehyun got up from his stool and started dragging him outside. Danny laughed but allowed himself to be pulled into Daehyun's car. They barely talked as Daehyun drove all the way to their school's empty parking lot.

"What are we doing here?" Danny asked. The last thing he wanted to on a Sunday was be at his school. Daehyun put the car in park and looked at him.

"I'm teaching you how to drive," He said, smiling at his brilliant idea. Danny's eyes grew.

"Huh?" He mumbled, not truly wanting to believe his words. Ever since Sophomore year he's wanted to learn how to drive.

"Come on, I helped you with your college exams and I can help you with driving." He assured him. Danny's smile spread across his fast.

"Ok!"

"Stop, stop, STOP!!!" Daehyun yelled, steadying himself with the dashboard. Danny slammed on the brakes and the car stopped practically inches from the light pole in front of them. They were both out of breath and sweating.

"I'm sorry!" Danny cried, still gripping the steering wheel. Daehyun shook his head.

"I love you babe, but I'm throwing the towel." Danny stared at him in disbelief.

"What? No, I'm just starting to get the hang of this!"

"Danny if we keep this up we won't have a science wing to go to tomorrow." Danny sighed and turned off the car.

"Fine," He mumbled. Daehyun leaned over and kiss the other boy on the cheek, cheering him up immidiately.

"I promise that by the end of the summer you'll be a fantastic driver," He said. Danny just smiled in reply, happy that he gets to spend his entire summer with the boy he loves.
