“Oohhhwaahh!” Jiyong jumps off the edge of his bed and begins to circles around me in their hotel room, ducking around in an over exaggerated manner when he notices the string of diamonds around my neck. I am standing still. “Is that Chanel?” He looks like an Animal Planet host examining a rare species of animal, except the animal is my necklace and he is a Fashionista. I can see Seunghyun standing in the back trying to act as if he is not noticing what is going on. I know he is paying attention though, and I know that he is loving every moment of it. He doesn’t hide his emotions well at all-he thinks he does, but I can see right through him. “Omo! Seungri!” he waves Seungri over without taking his eyes off of my necklace. “Look at this!”

            Seungri walks over as does Daesung and Youngbae. When they heard Jiyong shout for Seungri I noticed that it caught their attention as well. Now the examination circle contains four people. Oh, I wonder who could have possible given me the necklace. It couldn’t possibly be the guy standing in the corner of the room acting as if nothing is happening while all four of his friends are oogling at my neck. I thought this kind of attention would make me uncomfortable, but I am actually enjoying it a little bit, mostly because I get to observe Seunghyun.

            “Did you save your money for this?” asks Youngbae.

            “Ahhh, Yeppeo!” says Daesung.

            “It shines so bright and I can not see in it’s glory!” shouts Seungri.

            “Really, where did you get it?” asks Jiyong.

            “I don’t know,” I say shrugging my shoulders. “It just kind of…appeared,” I say cluelessly while staring at Seunghyun.

            Jiyong straightens up immediately and looks at Seunghyun. Oh, so he caught on! He marches over to him as if he is Sherlock and he just solved the puzzle. He mumbles something quizzically to Seunghyun, tilting his head back and forth. Yup, he definitely thinks he is Sherlock now. I try my hardest not to visibly face palm on his behalf. Seunghyun’s voice raises an octave (which for him makes him sound like a normal person) and he pushes Jiyong’s chest while turning his head to the side.

            “He got it for you!” Jiyong has solved the puzzle! I have never been more proud. I walk over to Seunghyun and take his hand. He looks at me with a smile. He takes his free hand, wraps it around his neck and laughs quietly while looking at the floor.

            “So many congratulations to you two!” Seungri shouts.

            “Seungri, shut up! There are other people in this building,” Youngbae lectures him.

            “Finally,” says Jiyong. “I haven’t shipped two people harder since everyone in SHINee,”

            “What!?” everyone else says in unison.

            “You don’t read fan fictions?” Jiyong asks the rest of the band. We all stare blankly at him. “Oh…” is all he says.

            “So are you official now or something?” says Youngbae.

            “Yes,” Seunghyun and I say in unison. We look at each other with smiles on our faces. It feels so good to be able to say something like that and not even get embarrassed.

            “Took you long enough,” he says as he turns around to go fiddle with something.

            “Just please, do not let this get out in public. I can not deal with another scandal,” Jiyong says. “Plus-everyone wants us to date. I’ll show you the stories sometime,” he says to Seunghyun.

            My forehead creases and I look at him like he is nuts. He simply shrugs his shoulders pushing out his lower lip and flops onto the bed, throwing one leg over his other raised knee. “So…ah…I guess you guys can go hang out in your room for a little bit. Don’t stay up to late, filming tomorrow. Have fun,” he says.

            “What do you mean by that?” Seunghyun says.

            “I mean don’t stay up late, we have filming tomorrow,” Jiyong sits up on his elbows and winks at him. We both shake our heads and walk out the door.
