Today was the day Kira will be release from the hospital. Kris was more than happy to finally take her home. “Stay right here with Lay shu shu, baby. Ba ba is just going to pay for the hospital fees and then we can finally go home.” Kris placed Kira on Lay’s lap and pecked her head before leaving. Lay bounced his legs up and down making Kira giggle. “You’re so adorable, princess.” Lay cooed and nuzzled against her cheek with his nose. Kira giggled and shoved him away. Lay chuckled and turned to look at the television. Kira swirled the ring that was on his finger and tried to pull it out. Lay turned his attention back to her and smiled, showing his dimples. Kira pulled harder but the ring wouldn’t move. Frustrated, Kira slapped his finger. Lay winced but didn’t pull his hand away.

Kris came back and blinked at Kira slapping Lay’s hand. “What’s wrong, baby? Why are you slapping Lay shu shu’s hand?” Kris walked over and lifted her off Lay. Lay winced and blew on his red hand. “Ring won’t off…” Kira pointed with a pout. Kris chuckled lightly. “If you want the ring, you have to ask Lay shu shu first. Look what you did to his hand. It’s in pain and red.” Kris pointed at Lay’s hand. Kira stared at it then blinked. She wiggled indicating she wanted to be placed down and wobbled over to Lay. “Dui bu qi, Lay shu shu.” Kira gently rubbed his hand. “It’s ok princess.” Lay pinched her cheek with a cheeky smile. Kira beamed and tried to climb on his lap again.

“So, what do we do now?” Lay asked Kris as he easily pulled Kira onto his lap. “Wanna go eat?” Kris suggested. Lay nodded and got up with Kira in his arms. “Come to ba ba, baby.” Kris cooed as he held out his hands to her. Kira giggled and pressed her face against Lay’s neck. Kira was breathing down his neck and Lay couldn’t help but squirm. Kris chuckled as Lay passed Kira to him and rubbed his neck. Kira blinked but didn’t struggle against her father’s embrace.

Kris placed Kira on the baby chair and pulled it closer to his seat. “What do you want to eat, baby?” Kris held up the menu to Kira. She tilted her head and started poking here and there on the menu. Kris chuckled and left a wet kiss on her cheek. Lay rolled his eyes at the father-daughter relationship and smiled warmly. *It’s good to see their relationship developing well…Do you see this Qing Yu jie? This is what you would’ve wanted to see.* Lay watched as Kris feed and showered Kira with kisses and couldn’t help but to feel envy. *When I have children, they’re all gonna be spoiled rotten!* Lay heaved.

Kris wiped a piece of rice off the side of Kira’s lip and smile tenderly. Kira chewed on the rice whole banging a spoon on the table. A fat bald man sitting alone across from Kira, turned and glared at her. Kira caught the glare and got scared. Her lips started to tremble as tears threatened to fall. Kris and Lay jumped in shock when Kira burst into tears. “Baby, what’s wrong?” Kris lifted her up and patted her back, soothing her. Kira didn’t answer and continued to cry. Kris caught the smirk on the bald man’s face and realised who made his baby girl cry. Kris eyed Lay then nodded to the bald man. Lay nodded and pulled out his phone. He made a call, speaking in code words before hanging up.

“It’s ok. Ba ba is going to punish those who made my baby cry. Don’t cry, baby.” Kris soothed and got up with Kira in his arms. Lay followed and payed for the bill. After they got out of the restaurant, a group of men holding silver bats strode inside. As Kris put Kira on her baby seat, screams and banging noises were heard from afar. Kris just smiled sweetly at Kira who blinked innocently. *No one makes my baby cry…those who dare should either suffer eternal pain or die.* Kris menacingly thought.
