--- (BAEKYEOL) --- (BAEKYEOL) --- (BAEKYEOL) ---

“Hm.” Baekyeol gave a worried expression when seeing the ice rink in front of him. It was filled with some people, not a lot, which what made his father mumble ‘thank goodness’. It was his tenth birthday today, and his parents, Chanyeol and Baekhyun, took their son to Hong Kong to celebrate his birthday. Baekyeol was happy that they were able to go out of the country to celebrate the mark of his 10th year, but he was more worried at the fact that they took him to an ice rink of all places. Baekyeol, in general, is just not that balanced of a person when it comes with like this; he learned from rollerblading and skateboarding to know well enough that he isn’t that well balanced.

“Isn’t this exciting Baekyeol?” His mother asked with a smile. He took his son’s hand, and they went to the front desk to rent out their skates. Baekyeol looked over his shoulder, seeing the people skating, and skating fast.

‘Hm...even the kids here know how to skate.’ He bit his lip.

“Baekyeol, here.” Chanyeol handed his son the skates. “You know how to put them?”

“Um,” Baekyeol shook his head, causing his father to chuckle.

“Hop right here bud.” He patted the chair, in which Baekyeol did. He watched as his father untied his shoes, and placing the ice skates on his feet.

“Why are they heavy?”

“Thats how they are bud. It isn't that bad...why? Are they really heavy?” He asked.

“No, just asking.” Baekyeol bit his lips, not wanting to say anything more. His parents did a lot for him, and he should be more grateful. “Thank you papa for taking me to Hong Kong.”

Chanyeol smiled. “You’re welcome Baekyeol.” He patted his son on the head. “It was actually your mama’s idea, so thank him...then again, I paid for expenses...but anyway, seeing your happy face, makes me happy.” Baekyeol smiled in returned, gesturing his father to come closer. As he did, the younger have his father a peck on the cheek. “Wah, you are just too precious!” Chanyeol rubbed his cheeks against the top of Baekyeol’s wavy hair. “Now, go inside the rink okay? Mama and I will be right behind you.”

“O-oh, okay...b-but --”

“Just hold on the railing if you need to okay. It is a lot like...hm, well, I guess like roller blading, but instead of the road, you have ice.”

Even before Baekyeol could say anything else, Chanyeol gently took his hand, picking him up. Baekyeol did have difficult time walking in the skates, but tried his best to walk to the entrance to the rink. As he stepped onto the ice, Chanyeol let go of his son’s hand, which immediately, Baekyeol grabbed onto the railing. “P-Papa --”

“Just hold onto the railing.” Chanyeol instructed. “It will be okay. Just go on your own pace.”

“B-but the people --”

“Will skate around you. Don’t worry okay.” With that, Chanyeol went back to where Baekhyun was. Baekyeol bit his lips, as he looked around him, seeing the people skating fast. Just like what his father said, he slowly started making his way around the rink. Eventually, he made his way on the opposite of the side of the entrance of the rink. He started to feel proud of himself, but still was scared.

‘You got this Baekyeol...you got this.’ He cheered himself. Baekyeol continued to make his way, until he felt someone bump behind him causing him to squeal and fall on the ice. Luckily, whoever bumped him, was quick to grab a hold of Baekyeol’s jacket hood.

“Yah, sorry about that!” Baekyeol blinked a couple of times, before looking over his shoulder. A kid no more than a couple of years older than he was, let go of the back of his jacket. “Sorry, I should’ve watched where I was going.” Baekyeol started to become more worried that the other was speaking in a completely different language than he was normally used to. As if the kid understood, he tried speaking in a different language. “I’m speaking in Mandarin right now...do you understand?” Baekyeol’s eyes widen, looking to see if he could spot his father or mother. While the 10 year old searched, the kid tried another language. “Can you understand me now?” He asked in Korean, in which caught Baekyeol’s attention; the kid knew that he hit the jackpot that he smiled. “Ah, Korean then?”

Baekyeol nodded. “Y-yeah.”

The kid smiled. “Cool! I’m Yitao!” He extended his hand for the other to shake. “What is your name?”

“Erm, Baekyeol...you...you’re Korean? You don’t look it.”

Yitao blinked, before chuckling. “I’m Chinese! But I know lots of languages because of my dad and mama.” He watched as Baekyeol quickly grabbed on the railing, trying to prevent himself from falling. “I see that you aren’t good at this…”

“Hm.” Baekyeol started to feel embarrassed that his face started to overheat. “I-I’m not that good at this...I’m not that balanced...when it comes to things like this.” He started to move away from Yitao, only to have him skate in front of him, skating backward so that he would be looking directly at him. ‘S-so cool! He can skate like that!’

“I can help you if you need it.” Yitao offered. “It isn’t that hard.”

“I’m okay.” He continued; he tried his best to move to the side, but it caused him to slip, causing Yitao to catch him just in time.

“See, you do need help.” Yitao laughed. “It isn’t that hard. I promise.” He took Baekyeol’s hand, and made him grab the hem of his jacket. “First, we are --”

“I-I didn’t agree to this! I said that I was fine!”

“Don’t worry about it...besides, I’ll be right here to catch you.” He gave an assuring smile. Baekyeol tighten his lips, but grabbed the hem of Yitao’s jacket. “I’ll just pull you okay?” As he tried, he started to pull Baekyeol forward with just his strength, but started to find it difficult than he originally thought. Yitao started to feel himself embarassed that he couldn’t even pull his new found friend. “Um, how about we just hold hands? If you fall, I’ll still catch you.”

“H-holding hands?”

“Yeah,” Yitao took Baekyeol’s hand and held it with his. “I think this will be much easier don’tcha think?”

“I...guess.”

The two started to skate, with a little wobble here and there on Baekyeol’s end, but he started to finally get used to it. In due time, Baekyeol was able to let go of the other’s hand. “I-I’m doing it!” Baekyeol beamed; he looked over his shoulder to see Yitao’s proud face, only to trip, and fall forward on his knees.

Yitao rushed towards the other, picking him up. “Ah, are you okay?” He asked, as Baekyeol started to well up. “H-hey now, don’t cry…”

“T-That hurt…”

“It’s okay.” Yitao picked him up. “You were able to do it though!”

“I don’t wanna do this anymore…” Baekyeol wiped his eyes. “I want my mama now…”

Yitao bit the inside of his cheek. “It’s okay...um, lets try skating one more time hm?”

“But I don’t wanna --”

“Just one more. Here, you can hold my hand, and I’ll skate right beside you. Just like before.” Yitao lent out his hand. Baekyeol hesitated, but did it anyways. Just like what Yitao promised, he pulled, despite that it was slightly difficult around the ice rink. He looked over his shoulder to see that Baekyeol was having trouble. ‘I guess he is still shaken up about the fall...’ “So, Baekyeol,” Yitao started, thinking that talking with the other would get him to loosen up, and erase that ‘fall’ from his mind. “What are you doing here in Hong Kong?”

“Hu? Um, it’s my birthday today --”

“Oh?” Yitao blinked. “How old are you?”

“I’m...I’m 10 today.”

“Ah, I’m just two years older than you are.” Yitao chuckled.

“You’re 12?”

“Yup!” Yitao beamed. “Happy birthday by the way!”

“T-Thanks.” Baekyeol's cheeks turned a bit pink. “My mama and papa took me to Hong Kong...which was nice. We rarely get out of the country.”

“Family time huh?”

Baekyeol blinked. “I guess -- which I don’t mind! I mean, I love spending time with mama and papa. Um, what about you?”

“Me?”

“What are you doing here in Hong Kong?”

“Oh,” Yitao cleared his throat. “I live here with my parents of course.”

“You do? Um, don’t the people here speak Mandarin?”

“Actually, it is Cantonese, but Mandarin can be spoken too...sometimes, well, privately, I guess.”

Baekyeol raised his eyebrow at the other. “How do you know how to speak Korean so well?”

“I lived in Korea for two years when my parents were still working there. So, I know how to speak...I guess fairly well. I also know English.”

“Whoa!!” Baekyeol started to think that his new friend was the coolest person he has ever met. “You know 4 languages?” ‘H-He is so cool!!’

Yitao started to adore how his friend was acting; he simply thought seeing his happy face was the cutest. “Yeah, 4.” The two continued to chat, and soon they were back to where they started in the ice rink. “Look, we made it all the way back to where you and I bumped each other.” He chuckled.

“Y-You’re right!” Baekyeol looked over his shoulder, looking at all the people skating around them. ‘That was fast!’

“So, Baekyeol,” Yitao asked, causing Baekyeol to look directly at him. “What are you doing after this?”

“Hu...ah, I don’t know, mama and papa didn’t tell me. Since my mama and papa know how to speak the language, they were the ones that planned it out. I don’t know what we are doing after.”

“Ah, don't you think it would be cool if we hanged out after skating?!” Yitao beamed. “Don’tcha think?”

“Um, s-sure? I guess.” Baekyeol gave a sweet smile, resulting Yitao to blush a bit. “But I would have to ask my mama and papa first…”

Yitao nodded. “Sure.” He grabbed Baekyeol’s hand, and the two started to skate their way over to the entrance of the rink. As they got off, Baekyeol wanted to tell his parents about his new found friend, and that he wanted to hang out with him today.

‘Where is --’

“Baekyeol!”

Baekyeol turned to see that his parents were started to hop off from the ice rink.

“Ah, mama, papa,” He tried his best to walk towards them, but still found it difficult to walk in the skates. “Mama, papa, this is my friend.” He gestured towards Yitao, who looked up at the two adults; he started to wave. “He helped me skate.”

“Yeah…” Chanyeol bit the inside of his cheek. “I noticed.” Resulting him to be elbowed gently by Baekhyun.

“Thank you kind sir for helping my son.” Baekhyun smiled, causing Yitao to blush.

“I-It was no problem.”

“Mama, papa, can Yitao and I hangout today?” Baekyeol asked.

“Hu?” The said in unison. “Hangout?” Baekhyun tilted his head. “Ah, well, I dunno...his --”

“His name is Yitao!” Baekyeol grabbed a hold of Yitao’s hand, lifting it up high.

“Ah, then, well...I dunno about Yitao’s parents...they might be busy Baekyeol...and so --”

“They are right there.” Yitao interjected, pointing over to two people who were currently sitting down, talking with each other. Chanyeol squinted his eyes, trying to get a better look at the couple.

‘Men?’

“My dad is the one with a blondie kinda brownie hair...my mama has black hair.”

“Ah,” Baekhyun nodded. “I see.”

“I’ll go ask.” Yitao let go of Baekyeol’s hand, and started to wobble his way over to his parents.

“Baekhyun,” Chanyeol called, causing him to turn towards the taller. “Did you see his parents?”

“Yeah? What about it?”

“They are men.”

Baekhyun raised his eyebrow. “And so are you and I.”

“Okay, just making sure that we are in the same page.”

“Wha -- nevermind.” Baekhyun didn’t even want to step forth with the conversation. “Baekyeol, was he nice?” He asked his son, who nodded.

“Yeah, he is really nice! He helped me, and he even said that he would hold my hand and won’t let me fall --”

“Ah, you fell...I saw.” Chanyeol said.

“I fell, but he helped me! He is cool too because he can speak many languages!”

“Now, that you said that…” Baekhyun pondered. “He did speak in perfect Korean...and we are in Hong Kong, I would have thought that he would speak in Cantonese to us.”

Just then, Yitao came back, now with his skates off and converse on, coming with his parents. It surprised Baekhyun and Chanyeol a bit, seeing how the two were so tall and very much modelesque looking. “These are my parents!” He said, still in Korean, causing his parents to speak in Korean as well.

“Hello.” The black haired male said. “I apologize in behalf of our son if he caused any trouble.”

“Oh, n-no!” Baekhyun shook his head. “He didn’t do anything wrong. Ah, actually, he was really nice to help our son ice skate. It is my son’s first time skating so...and he was a big help.”

“I see.” The much taller of the two, patted his son on the head. “Our son tells us that you two are visiting Hong Kong.”

“Hm.” Chanyeol nodded. “It is our son’s birthday, so we took him to Hong Kong.”

“Mama,” Yitao tugged on his mother’s hand. “Can Baekyeol and I hangout?”

“Oh, they might be busy since it is their son’s birthday today, Yitao.”

“B-but mama, I wanna hangout with Baekyeol...”

The adults could see that Yitao tried his best to plead with his parents for him and Baekyeol to hangout. He was just not ready to leave yet. Chanyeol looked over at his son, seeing in his eyes that he too wanted to hangout with Yitao. Even if they were just people that they met, it seemed that they hit it off pretty well.

“Um, well, if you two aren’t busy,” Chanyeol started, causing Yitao’s parents to look up at the other. “We...don’t know much about Hong Kong...perhaps you could...tour us around?” Yitao tugged on his mama’s hand, nodding his head, telling them to say yes.

Getting the hint, the taller nodded his head. “Sure. Ah, my name is Jiaheng, this is Zitao.” He gestured to the black haired male.

“I’m Chanyeol, and this cutie angel is my Baekhyun!” He wrapped his arms around the other, hugging him tightly, causing Baekhyun to blush hard.

“Chanyeol! Stop it!” Baekhyun placed his hand on top of the taller’s face, pushing him back.

“And this little guy is what we made!” He picked up Baekyeol, hugging him tightly. “My little angel! We made him, we made him.” Baekhyun groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose.

“I’m sorry…” Baekhyun said. “My...husband...is weird in general.”

The towering couple blinked, before letting out a chuckle. “It is fine,” Zitao said. “Are you two hungry?”

“Hungry? A bit.”

“We know this great restaurant in the area...and we are actually friends with the owners. We can go eat there.”

“Ah, sure.” Baekhyun nodded with a smile. “Thank you.”

“Yay!” Yitao cheered. Baekyeol started to wiggle in his father’s arms, wanting to cheer along side with Yitao. The two beamed at each other, and started to hold hands, causing Chanyeol to eye them closely.

--- (BAEKYEOL) --- (BAEKYEOL) --- (BAEKYEOL) ---

As the 6 arrived at the destination, they were immediately seated near the fireplace that the restaurant had. It was a nice place with a relaxing atmosphere. Once the waitress took their orders, they started to chat. Baekhyun and Chanyeol found out that Yitao’s parents were actually business owners of 3 different martial arts academies that are located in China, Korea, and even Canada. As of now, they were starting up their 4th academy here in Hong Kong, and is now their permanent residence. Yitao’s parents learned that Baekyeol’s parents were more of the music type of business. Baekhyun is a vocal coach at one of Korea’s entertainment businesses, while Chanyeol owns a business of distributing instruments all over.

While the adults talked, Yitao and Baekyeol started to have their own little conversation.

“Isn’t this exciting! We got to hangout!” Yitao smiled.

“I know! This is very cool!” Baekyeol giggled as he turned around to see the fireplace. “Your mama and papa know the owners?”

“Yeah, they are my aunites.”

“Aunties?”

“Well,” Yitao pursed his lips. “Not my real aunties...I just call them that.” He chuckled. “They are just friends of my mama and dad. They are super nice!”

“Yeah, and they are really pretty too.” Baekyeol folded his hands on his lap, thinking back at the girl with short blonde hair. ‘She was really pretty.’

“You are pretty too.” Yitao said, causing Baekyeol to look up.

“H-hu?!”

“Yeah, you are really pretty!” Yitao smiled. “I like your eyes. They are just like your mama’s eyes.”

Baekyeol started to blush, that he placed his hands on his cheeks. “I-I...I’m --”

“And here are the orders!” The girl with shoulder length, wavy hair said, as she placed the plates on the table. “And for you,” She said to Yitao, placing his noddle soup in front of him. “And to the handsome young man.” She said to Baekyeol, causing his cheeks to flush out, yet resulting Yitao to purse his lips.

“T-Thank you.” He said in his best Cantonese.

“Thank you Jingyi.” Jiaheng thanked.

“If you need anything, just holler.” With that, Jingyi left. They started to eat and chat, while Yitao nibbled on his noodles. He looked up to see one of his aunties, Yingxin, passing by. He waved at her to come over, in which she did.

“Yitao,” She said, kneeling down. “Is there something that you need?”

“Hm,” He nodded. “Auntie, can you --” With that, he started to whisper in her ear.

“Oh, okay.” She smiled, looking over at Baekyeol, who squeaked when he was caught staring at her. She giggled. “How cute.” Yingxin stood up and started to head back to the kitchen.

“What was that?” Baekyeol asked.

“O-oh, nothing.” Yitao started to scarf down the soup as fast as he could.

“Okay?” Baekyeol continued to eat his food, trying to think what just happened a few minutes ago.

After awhile, their table was cleared by another of Yitao’s aunties, Yunxi, who informed Jiaheng and Zitao about their son’s little request that Yingxin told her and the rest of the other girls. They nodded their head, and Zitao informed Yunxi to make one check, and that they would be paying for it.

Baekhyun looked up, a bit surprised. “W-we can pay for our own --”

“It is fine.” Zitao waved off. “Please don’t worry about it. After all, you three are guests, and we are more than happy to pay for your food.”

“A-are you sure? I mean, I’ll pay you back --”

“Ah-ah, it is okay.” Zitao said, grabbing his bag that was between his feet. “Besides, it would be him paying for it.” He gestured to Jiaheng with his right, as he whipped out a credit card with his left.

“Ah, I don’t mind, really.” Jiahang said, grabbing the card from Zitao’s hand.

“I-If you say so, thank you.” Baekhyun nodded his head towards them.

Yitao looked around to see his aunties coming towards them. He beamed and looked over at Baekyeol, a bit oblivious to what was going on around him. As soon as the aunties approached them, Yayin, another of Yitao’s aunties, held up the small cake.

“Oh!” Chanyeol perked up to see the sweet dessert, causing Baekyeol to look at the direction of where his father was staring at. It suprised him as well, seeing how the ladies were coming over towards him.

They started to sing happy birthday, resulting for Baekyeol to have his cheeks flushed. Yayin placed the cake in front of him, and the rest of the ladies, as well as the adults started to say: ‘make a wish’. Baekyeol puffed his little cheeks out, thinking really hard on what he should wish for. After awhile, he blew out the candles. They cheered for the younger.

“Here is a knife, and the check.” Yunxi said, placing the two items beside Jiaheng.

“Thank you Yunxi.”

With that, the girls left to resume in their duties. Baekyeol started to clap. ‘This is probably the best birthday ever!!’ He smiled to himself. ‘A new friend and a cute cake!! I should probably tell Yitao thank you for everything today.’ He turned his head, only to be surprised to have Yitao lips on his.

Immediately, both leaned back, a bit surprised at what happened. Baekyeol’s eyes widen, placing both his hands to cover his mouth, while Yitao did the same, putting up his scarf up to cover his lips. They both looked at their parents, who were also surprised at the little action.

All Yitao wanted to do was look at the cake, just to see what he told Yingxin was right. He wanted the cake to say ‘Happy Birthday from your new friend, Yitao!!’, and he was overlooking the other’s shoulder to see. It just so happened that Baekyeol turned his head, causing them both to gently peck each other on the lips.

Feeling his face burn up, Yitao got off from his seat, and went straight to his mother, thinking that he did a horrible thing. It left Baekyeol confused, but not to the point where got mad at Yitao for kissing him. The adults chuckled at their sons’ cuteness, as Zitao patted his son’s head.

“It’s okay Yitao,” He chuckled. “Why are you crying?” He mumbled in Mandarin that he felt embarrassed, and that he did a bad thing in kissing his new friend. “Oh, Yitao, you didn’t do a bad thing…” Zitao kissed his son on the head in assurance. “I’m sure Baekyeol is fine.” He looked up to see Baekyeol, now concerned about his friend.

“Is he okay?” Chanyeol asked, ignoring the fact that his son just practically gotten a kiss, his first kiss to be exact, at age 10.

“Yeah, he is fine.” Zitao chuckled. “He just a bit...well, he is just a bit sorry that he kissed your son.”

Baekyeol shimmied down from his seat, and made his way over to Yitao, who was currently holding onto his mother. He tapped his shoulder, causing the teary-eyed boy to look over his shoulder. Not even letting Yitao say anything, Baekyeol stood up on his tippy toes, placing his hands on the other’s cheeks, and giving him another peck on the corner of his lips. “Thank you!” Baekyeol said. “Thank you for being my friend, and thank for the cake!” A bit at a daze, Yitao covered his face with his scarf to hide his redden face. The adults chuckled, while Baekyeol did the same. He grabbed Yitao’s hand, making their way back to their seats. “Yitao, lets eat the cake together.” He said, getting back up in his seat.

Yitao did the same, sitting quietly right beside him. Baekhyun asked for the knife, and started to cut the cake evenly for everyone. They started to munch on the sweet dessert, while the adults continued with their conversation. Yitao nibbled on his cake, while glancing back at Baekyeol.

Baekyeol turned his head, facing the other. “Hm? Something wrong?”

“U-um, sorry for what happened…”

“What happened?”

Yitao blinked. “The kiss?”

“Oh! That? It’s okay…” He blushed as well, biting his cake.

“We are still friends right?”

Baekyeol immediately nodded. “Of course!” He beamed. “You are my new friend!” He lent out his hand, for the other to take. When Yitao placed his hand on top of his, Baekyeol started to swing his hand back and forth under the table.

Yitao relaxed and smiled. ‘I’m glad.’

--- (BAEKYEOL) --- (BAEKYEOL) --- (BAEKYEOL) ---

For the rest of the day, Yitao’s parents became Baekyeol and his parents’ ‘tour guide’, showing them around, going to a shopping pavilion, and even small stores that were on the promenade. It was a relaxing time for the 6 of them. However, all good times have to come to an end. It was getting late and now it was time for Yitao and his parents to head back home, while Baekyeol and his parents had to do the same.

“Thank you so much for today.” Baekhyun said, bowing towards the two, as well as Chanyeol. “It was very nice of you two to do this.”

“It’s no problem.” Zitao chuckled. “It was nice meeting you two.”

Yitao frowned; he looked over at Baekyeol, bearing the same expression as he was. They just weren’t ready to leave yet. He leaned over, grabbing Baekyeol’s hand, giving a squeeze.

“What was that for?” Baekyeol asked, in which Yitao shrugged.

“I just wanted too.”

The younger giggled, thinking that it was the most absurbed thing Yitao has done. “You’re weird...in a goodway.”

“I don’t want to leave though.”

“Hu? But it is getting late.” Baekyeol said. “Hm, but today was the best day ever!” He said to lighten up the mood a bit. “Thank you for helping me skate, and for the cake, and even being my friend!”

Yitao blushed, but nodded. “You’re welcome.”

“Baekyeol,” The said child looked up at his parents. “It is time to go.”

Baekyeol puffed his cheeks. “Okay.” He let go of Yitao’s hand, heading over to his parents. As he turned around, he started to wave goodbye to his friend. Once he slowly brought his hand down, Baekyeol quickly went back, giving Yitao a peck on the cheek of thanks, and went back standing next to his parents, grabbing his father’s hand. “Bye-bye! Thank you Yitao! Thank you!” He bowed at Jiaheng and Zitao.

“It was no problem.” Jiaheng nodded his head at the younger.

With the last goodbyes, they waved and started to go their separate ways. Baekyeol sighed, resting his head against his father’s arm. “You tired?” Chanyeol asked, in which Baekyeol shook his head. “No?”

“I’m gunna miss Yitao…”

Chanyeol turned his head over to Baekhyun, whispering that he is fear is coming true. Baekhyun rolled his eyes, and glanced at his son. “Don’t worry Baekyeol….you wanna know something cool?”

“Hm?” He looked up at his mother.

“Yitao’s mother gave me his number and I gave him ours. You can call Yitao if you want.”

“R-really?!”

“So, when we go back to Korea, you two can talk all you want.”

Baekyeol’s eyes beamed with happiness. “Yay!!” He turned towards his father, tugging on his hand. “Did you hear that papa?! I can talk to Yitao all I want when we go home!”

“That...is great.” Chanyeol mentally teared up a bit. “Thats nice.”

The trio started to head back to their hotel, walking passed the stories and small cafes. “Did you have fun Baekyeol?” Baekhyun asked, in which the younger quickly nodded.

“Yeah! I had lots of fun!! Thank you mama, thank you papa for taking me to Hong Kong!”

“You are welcome, Baekyeol.” They said in unison.

“Because if we didn’t go, I wouldn’t have met Yitao!!”

“Yah,” Chanyeol patted his son on the head. “Okay, no more talking about him.”

“I like him!”

“Yah!!” Chanyeol whined. “No, more.” He bent down, gently tapping his son on the nose. “No more.”

“Hm!” Baekyeol puffed his cheeks, shaking his head back and forth.

“Eh, but you like papa more right? More than Yitao huh?”

“Yup, yup.” Baekyeol nodded, lunging himself towards his father, and hugging him tightly.

Chanyeol chuckled, returning the hug. “Ah, I love you my little Baekyeol.”

“I love papa and mama!!” Baekyeol looked over his shoulder, reaching out for his mother. As Baekhyun knelt down, Baekyeol gave him a peck on the cheek.

Both parents beamed. “Happy birthday, Baekyeol!”
