Plot/ Summary:
Mira and Kevin's moms have been friends since forever, which concluded the two to be friends since diapers as well. When Mira turns 15, Kevin realizes his feelings for her at her birthday party. He gives her his present personally, and confesses his feelings as well. She rejects him saying that she doesn't date younger guys. He keeps going at it though, fully headstrong, but she always rejects him. On a Sunday morning at the two families' "After Church" meal, Kevin asks her ,again, to go out with him. Mira couldn't reject him, not in front of their parents. Overjoyed, Kevin quickly prepares a picnic and they leave for lunch at the beach. She pelts him with questions, but he ignores him. She finally says that their so called "relationship" would end right after the date. Staying true to her promise, he breaks it off, and he can't hide his feelings of disappointment. Mira finally cracks, says she likes him too, and tells him that the only reason why she's been rejecting him was because she finds him cute when he's seriously into doing something. At the end, Kevin finally gets her to go out with him.

Mira’s POV~

“Happy birthday Mira!” Kevin exclaims wrapping his arms around me in a friendly hug. I return it and give him a warm smile.

“Glad you could make it.” I comment and he rolls his eyes at my formalities.

“Oh, don’t worry; I’m planning on giving your present later.” He said and I saw a light blush creep its way toward his cheeks.

Kevin’s POV~

When the party was cleared up and everyone left, I pulled Mira to the front porch and she giggled.

“Yah what are you doing, kidnapping me?”

“I wanna give you your present.” I muttered and she ruffled my hair.

“Arasso, what is it?” I quickly leaned in a gently pecked her on the lips. She seemed surprised at first and then looked down, avoiding my eye contact.

“Ne Mira, I really like you-”

“I don’t date younger guys.” She interrupted me, still looking down at the floor. You would usually give up then and there right? Not me, I went fully headstrong and continued to confess, even though she rejected me every time TT^TT Here we were, at the “after church meal” and I saw Mira standing with her parents. It was the perfect opportunity.

Mira’s POV~

“Mira!~” I turned to my left and saw Kevin standing there with a smile plastered on his face. He suddenly took my hand and bowed in front of my parents,

“Mr. and Mrs. Jung, may I take Mira out for a picnic date today after church?” E-eh?! My parents gave a warm smile as if they imagined themselves having grandkids and said,

“If it’s ok with Mira, of course.” Kevin gave me a pleading smile and I sighed,

“Arasso.” Kevin gave me his usual smiles that seem to draw the eyes of every girl around us. As soon as my parents left, I pulled him aside and whispered,

“But our so called ‘relationship’ will end right after the date, do you understand Kevin Woo?” He quickly pecked me on the cheek and I felt the blood creek its way where his lips came in contact with my skin.

“Neh, I’ll pick you up soon.” He said and ran off to god knows where.

Kevin’s POV~

“Ok, open your eyes.” I said and uncovered my hands from Mira’s eyes. A small smile grew on her face when she saw the blanket laid out on the sandy shore and the food I prepared at the last minute. She turned around and gave me a smile of gratitude,

“So are you as hungry as I am?”

Mira’s POV~

After the date we slowly packed up the food back into the picnic basket and simply sat down on the blanket, watching the sun slowly set. I felt his hand gently wrap around my shoulders like you would see in movies and I could only giggle at his action.

“Well, I better get home soon, my parent’s might start asking me where I’ve been.” I said and got up. I helped Kevin roll up the blanket and I added,

“Oh as of now, this ‘relationship’ is over.” I said yet a knowing smile was on my face. Kevin sunk his head and nodded sadly, like the cutest little puppy you’ve ever seen and I couldn’t take it anymore. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed the side of his cheek.

“Gahh!~ Kevin I can’t take it anymore, I like you a lot too.”

Kevin’s POV~

“E-eh?!” I exclaimed at both the shock of Mira’s kiss and confession. She gently pulled back and smiled at my reaction.

“Then why did you reject me the million times before.” She rolled her eyes and placed her forehead on top of my own.

“I couldn’t resist. You’re so adorable when you’re seriously into doing something. Mianhe.” I puffed out my cheeks which only seemed to amuse her.

“Punishment.” I muttered and leaned in, kissing her gently. I pulled back and saw her crimson red face and stuck out my tongue at her,

“That’s what you get for teasing me.” She gave me a joking glare and pecked me on the lips, causing me to blush this time.

“That’s what you get for being so cute.”
