Title of one-shot: When Dancers Fall In Love

Characters: Chloe Choi(age: 19) & Lee Kikwang of BEAST(age: 20)

Setting/Plot: in CUBE's dance studio where Chloe is a trainee who is about to debut and Kikwang walks in while Chloe is dancing and sparks fly everywhere ^^ so basically Kikwang falls in love with Chloe's dance ability and gets teased by BEAST ^^

Genre: A corny and cute love story :)

Chloe’s POV~

“And 5, 6, 7, 8!” My choreographer shouts and begins the music. She analyzes every detail I perform. From my toes to my fingertips, she wants me to work hard and debut.

“Sharp! Come on Chloe you have to put more strength and energy when you reach the chorus.” She yells while clapping her hands, as if to emphasize the words she’s giving me.

“But I’m tired.” I whine like a little child. She only rolls her eyes at me and stops the music. She comes over, ruffles my hair, and says,

“Alright kiddo, I have to get home but feel free to work on some of the moves yourself, ne?” I give a small nod and once she leaves, I rewind the track and start from the top.

Kikwang’s POV~

I was simply humming my part in our song, “Fiction” when I heard some loud pop tune wafting through Cube’s dance studio.

“It’s already late, who’d be up dancing?” I mutter to myself. I slowly open the door a crack so I can peer through and see a girl.

Must be a trainee, I never saw her around before.

I would’ve usually left her alone, not really caring much about our trainees. Yet she caught my attention the minute I laid eyes on her. She had such a fragile looking body that gave her the appearance of someone who would do contemporary or even ballet. Yet she was popping and dancing to hip pop like she owned it. She executed every move flawlessly. She turns off the music abruptly and yells out to no one in particular,

“I know you’re watching. Come out.” I couldn’t help but smirk to myself, she found me.

Chloe’s POV~

I was expecting my friends to come visit me, a dog, heck even a unicorn! But I was shocked when I saw B2ST’s Lee Kikwang walk in with an apologetic look on his face.

“L-Lee K-Ki-Kikwang?!” I yell in amazement and knock over a pile of CDs and albums.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you.” Kikwang said with a sense of humor in his tone of voice and helped me pick up the scattered disks.

“I’m Lee Kikwang by the way. And you are?” He asks me.

“Choi Chloe. I’m a trainee here. It’s a real honor to meet you.” I say bowing formally. Great, I probably sound like an obsessed fan or something -.-

“You don’t need to be so formal.” Kiwkang said chuckling.

Kikwang’s POV~

“So why are you here so late? It’s close to midnight and you’re still practicing?” I ask her out of the blue. She gave me a warm smile and said,

“I want to debut soon. But, I want to feel like I deserved it. I wanna give it my all to everything I try.” Her answer was so simple and pure that I couldn’t help but smile at it.

“That’s a nice way of putting it.” I replied. I felt her fidget a little and asked her,

“What, ants in your pants?” She blushed and replied,

“I was wondering, if you were watching me….how was I?” I ruffled her hair as if we were already longtime friends and replied,

“You were amazing. I’m surprised you didn’t debut yet-”

“Really?” She asked with a gleam in her eye like a child has at a candy store.

“BUT!” I say. She should be fun to tease. She raised an eye brow and asked,

“But what?”

“But you could work on your facial expressions. You looked so serious, like you weren’t having any fun.” I said imitating her face.

“Yah I was having fun!” She said pouting.”

“Could’ve fooled me.” I added with a smirk. She gently nudged me and said,

“I’m the queen of facial expressions.”

“What a coincidence, I’m king.” I commented. She gave me a merong sign and her IPod to G.Na’s “Black & White.” She imitated G.Na’s expressions spot on….let’s just say G.Na isn’t the best at facial expression XD

“Beat that!” She said challenging me. I only shook my head with a smile and my own choice of music.

Chloe’s POV~

My eyes widened in horror and amusement. The minute Kikwang Secret’s “Starlight Moonlight” I already covered my mouth with my hand to stifle my laugh. But once he got to the “Sha-la-la-la-la,” but I gave up and fell on the floor holding my side from the pain of the laughter.

“Ok Ok! You win. It hurts!” I say in defeat cracking up from his accurate expressions. I was wiping away some tears when a knock was heard on the door and Beast’s Doojoon came in.

“Hey Kikwang, it’s gotten late and we were looking for you.” He stated and Kikwang gave me an apologetic look before saying,

“Sorry, I have to go. It was nice meeting you. I’ll see you around right?” The way he asked wasn’t a general farewell someone said, it was like he had a hope that we would see one another again. I gave him a smile and nod saying,

“I hope so, you still need to help me out on my ‘facial expressions.’” He gave a small chuckle before Doojoon led him out.

Kikwang’s POV~

“So who was she? She was really pretty Kikwang!” Yoseob pounced at me the minute I walked out of that dance studio.

“She’s a trainee.” I commented, I couldn’t even hold back the smile that made its way to my face.

“Aw look at Kikwang, he fell for a trainee.” Dongwoon said making kissy noises. I punched his side and felt the blood rush to my cheeks.

“Look at that! He doesn’t even wanna talk about his future girlfriend!” Hyunseung said pointing at my red ears. The group began laughing at me, like we always do when teasing one another. I rolled my eyes at them and we headed off to our dorm. But just as I was leaving, I heard her turn on Secret’s “Starlight Moonlight.” And couldn’t help but feel the corners of my lips turn up.
