Story: Jay and Nana have been dating for 3 years now and have had their fair share of troubles, hardships and also all the good times. On the day before Nana's birthday, Jay does some secret shopping... for... a ring.
On her birthday, he proposes. Happy ending juseyo lol.
Setting: Jewelry store and somewhere nice where he proposes.

Nana's POV~

"Ne ne Jay, are you busy tomorrow?" I ask not even trying to hold in my excitement. He makes a thinking face and asks,

"Is there somthing tomorrow?" I pout and he wraps an arm around my shoulders.

"I'm just kidding, how can I forget your birthday?" He kisses the top of my head.

"Is there anything you want? Besides an awesome boyfriend? Oh look you already have that." I giggle. He always knows how to make me laugh. I wish he would ask me to marry him, we've been dating for 3 years already and I know he's the one I love a lot. But I can't ask him for that. What do I want for my birthday?

Jay's POV~

Nana makes an adorable thinking face. She was about to tell me what she wanted when her phone rang. She hangs up and says,

"Sorry Jay, I gotta head home." She runs off but I call,

"You still didn't tell me what you wanted!" She replies,

"Surprise me!"

 Once I see her out of my sight, I head into the nearby jewelry store.

"How is it?" The clerk asks when she takes out my gift for Nana.

"It's perfect."

Nana's POV~

"Happy Birthday!" Jay greets me the next day when I come over to his house after my part time job. He gives me a peck on the cheek and I giggle.

"Thanks. So what do you have in store for me?" He covers my eyes and leads me into the kitchen. I smell something really yummy and he uncovers my eyes.

Jay's POV~

She awe's in amazement when she sees the buffet prepared for her.

"Did you cook everything by yourself?" I show her some minor burns on my fingers from the stove today. She looks down at her tummy and says,

"I don't wanna get fat..." I kiss her forehead and say,

"You're perfect." She blushes and we eat.

Nana's POV~

"Wah~ I've never felt so full in my life. You'll have to roll me back home." I say and he chuckles.

"I also have one more present for you." I squeel.

"What is it?" I ask. He hands me a peach colored rose.

"Happy birthday Nana." I give him a small smile. I know it's the thought that counts, but I expected more.

"Thanks, it's really pretty." I comment trying to hide my disappointment. He chuckles and says,

"Look at the base of the rose." I gently remove some petals and find a ring hidden.

  

 Jay's POV~

Her suprised reaction was priceless. The ring was worth every penny. I kneel on one leg and I see some small tears in her eyes.

"Nana, saranghae. Will you marry me?" She covers with her hands and eagerly nods. I lift her and spin her around as she kisses me. That was the best moment of my life, right next to the first time I met her ;)
