Kyuhyun was heartbroken until he met her again as the most popular and successful member of a new girl band...

Jessica’s POV~

“No Jessica start over! How many times have we told you repeatedly to put grace and balance into that step!” My choreographer yelled.

“I-I’m sorry, may I try again?” I ask timidly. He heaves out an exhausted sigh and says,

“One more time from the top…Go!” I felt the beat of the music and tried to gather my emotions. I began the dance routine at a medium pace and then the tempo picked up. I was following through when I forgot the next move.

“Stop!” He shouted again and I flinched.

“P-please, may I try ag-” I began but he shut off the stereo and said,

“You’re done for today. Don’t bother coming back here until you practice. Honestly Jessica, you can’t sing, rap, or even dance!” He hissed and left me to gulp down those harsh words. I need to give it my all as a trainee under SM.

Kyuhyun’s POV~

I was blasting music through my head phones when I stopped short in front of SM’s dance room. I never really saw her before yet she caught my attention. She wasn’t that great a dancer, but the look of concentration and passion she had on her face made me think otherwise. She was off beat by a second yet she continued to move, as if she pushed herself to try harder with every step she took. I saw her spin and fall on the ground, I was about to go in but she simply got up on her own, rewound the track and tried that move again.

“Amazing.” I muttered under my breath thinking I only whispered it. But she turned my way and (you guessed it) fell yet again -.-

Jessica’s POV~

“Amazing. “ I heard someone mutter, I quickly turned toward that voice and saw a boy peering in through the door. I lost my balance and ended up tripping over my own two feet.

“Oh god, are you alright?” The boy from before asks helping me up off of the ground.

“Y-yes, sorry you had to see that. I’m not really the best haha.” I say gently tapping my head. He gave me a small chuckle and held out a hand,

“I’m Kyuhyun.” I shook his hand and replied,

“Jessica. Nice to meet you.” He scratched the back of his head like anybody does in an awkward situation and I decided to break the ice and asked him,

“Why did you mutter ‘Amazing?’” He smiled to himself and replied,

“I thought you’re dancing was amazing.” My reaction: O_O

“You shouldn’t do that face, it doesn’t give you’re beauty any justice.” I felt myself blush and asked him,

“Why did you think it was amazing? I know I at dancing.” He ruffled my hair and replied,

“Dancing isn’t always about the technique and posture. There’s also heart and soul you need to put into it, and you showed me that.” I felt the blood rush to my cheeks. That was the first time anyone has really complimented me.

“Not according to the choreographers around here.” I said sassily. He chuckled and replied,

“I agree. If you want, I’ll be more than happy to help you out. I’m not the best dancer but I know a few tricks.”

Kyuhyun’s POV~

Jessica gave me such a bright smile and said,

“Thank you.” I heard my heat skip a beat and felt my ears turn a slight red.

I kept my promise and Jessica improved immensely in her dancing ability and soon, her vocals were growing in range. She had that talent before; she was just a late bloomer. I always joked with her about that. I remember when I was teaching her another move;

“Wait, can you repeat that one part? Where your leg gets tucked behind the other one?” She asks me, her face in full concentration mode. I ruffled her hair and said,

“Sure.” I the music and repeated the move she was trying to master.

“You got it?” I ask. She gives me an encouraging nod and I replay the music. She was on a good roll when her foot stumbled over the other. She would’ve fell on her face again if I wasn’t next to her. I caught her in my arms and she mumbled,

“Thanks Kyuhyun I owe you-” She stop mid-sentence when she looked up and our eyes locked. I really paid close attention to every detail of her; honey caramel eyes, soft and smooth skin, long lashes, and cherry plump lips. I slowly leaned in and kissed her. She gently kissed me back before the music changed to rock which scared us both.

After that day, I didn’t even see her. It was like she completely disappeared from the company. I was a wreck back then. I felt so heartbroken. I couldn’t get any of my steps right and my voice would crack every minute or so. I eventually got over it, but I still think about her from time to time.

“Kyuhyun, you ready?” Donghae asked me. I heard the crowd cheering us on and I nodded as Siwon passed me a mic.

Once our performance was over, we headed backstage to watch the other performers.

Next up, we have the newest SM Entertainment group….So Nyuh Shi Dae singing Girls’ Generation!

The MC announced. So lee Soo Man finally unveiled his girl group. I haven’t been able to see them around the building, and I’ve been too busy to pay attention to them on TV. One by one, the 9 girls positioned themselves on stage. The first girl the camera focused on was the leader, according to Leeteuk. She reminds me of a kid. I smiled to myself thinking; kid leader.

“That’s the maknae, Seohyun.” Kangin comments.

“That’s YoonA, she’s the face of the group.” Ryeowook says.

“Sunny.” Sungmin points to the girl after YoonA. God there’s a lot of them TT^TT How many more names do I need to remember?!

“That’s Tiffany.” Shindong states. I was getting a little bored when a familiar face popped onto the screen.

“That’s-” Donghae began but I said,

“Jessica.” Everyone looked at me in a confused daze asking,

“I thought you didn’t know about them?” I stopped paying attention to them naming the members and had my full attention on Jessica. She improved so much. Her dancing isn’t the best of the group (according to Eunhyuk, Hyoyeon is their dancing queen) but her vocals are great! As soon as they bowed and headed backstage, I couldn’t hold myself anymore. I ran toward the back and saw her.

Jessica’s POV~

“Hey, I think you have an idol’s attention.” Yuri and Sooyoung said pointing behind me. I turn around and my heart skips a beat. I walk up to him and say,

“Annyaseo Kyuhyun. How have you been? I’m Jessica Jung, a member of the newest SM Entertainment group So Nyuh Shi Dae. Please take care of me.” I say bowing at a 90 degree angle. He doesn’t reply. I look up and he has this, affectionate stare. I pulls me into a hug and whispers,

“Pabo, I thought I’d never see you again.” I hugged him back and replied,

“Pabo, how could I when we’ve had so many trainee memories.”
