(Nana)

I got ready to go out with my parents and was excited to have dinner with them. The last time, you guys had dinner was before there trip to Hawaii.

“I am all done” I said.

“Ok, let’s go I don’t want to be late” my mother said.

“What place are we going this time?” I asked.

“One of the most fancy places” she replied.

“What are we celebrating?”

“You will see when we get there” my father said.

We drove to one of the most expensive restaurants and I wonder what going on. When we got there, we were directed to a private location of the restaurant.

“Sorry for being late” my mother told someone else.

“Oh it is fine” the other person replied.

“This is Nana. Nana this is the Marus family” my mother said.

I introduce myself and when to take a sit.

“My sons will be here in a while.” Ms. Maru said.

“Well let’s order something to eat” Mr. Maru said.

I didn’t understand what was happening and I had this weird feeling.

“Oh they are here” Ms. Maru and I turn to see who was here.

I couldn’t believe this! It was Kenwha and (Jaejoong)!

“This is my oldest son (Jaejoong) and this is Kenwha my baby” Ms. Maru said.

I couldn’t move and I notice that (Jaejoong) couldn’t move also.

“They are so handsome. I haven’t seen them in ages” my mother said and I turn to look at her.

“(Jaejoong) and Kenwha this is my daughter Nana” my mother said.

Both of them just stood there until Kenwha took a sit. I wanted Kenwha to sit next to me but he didn’t. There was only one sit left and it was the sit next to me. I saw (Jaejoong) take the sit with an unpleasant face.

Nobody wanted to talk so the elders decided to chat.

“Nana, right” Kenwha said.

“Yeah” I replied.

Kenwha started asking simple questions that he already knew but I didn’t mind at all. Finally the elders turn to us and made an announcement.

“We are here all of us because we want to announce something very important” Mr. Maru said.

“What could that be?” I asked.

“We want to announce that (Jaejoong) and Nana are going to get marry soon” my father said.

“What! No!” (Jaejoong) and I said at the same time.

“You guys don’t have a choice” my mother said.

“Why not?” I asked already mad.

“If you guys don’t accept than the companies will get destroy” Ms. Maru said.

“Why? I don’t understand” I said.

“This marriage was not arranged by us but by yours grandparents” my mother said.  

“Why will the companies be destroyed?” (Jaejoong) said.

“If you guys don’t accept, they will give everything to charity. None of you will receive inheritance and many people will be left without a job.” Ms. Maru said.

I couldn’t believe this! I didn’t want to get marry with this jerk but I didn’t want to start from zero.

“Ok, I will get marry” (Jaejoong) said so casual.

“You made the right decision” Mr. Maru said.

In that moment, everybody started looking at me and I didn’t know what to do.

“Think about those people” my mother said.

“You don’t want them to suffer” my father said.

“Many people depend on our companies” Mr. Maru said.

“Think about those children that will suffer” Ms. Maru said.

I wanted to cry and I felt so much pressure.

“Nana, let’s go for a walk” Kenwha said.

He stood up and took my hand. I went with him and left everybody in the room. He took me to the garden of the restaurant and we just stood there.

“Nana” he said and I started to cry.

He hugged me and he kept repeating that everything was going to be fine.

“I want to get marry because of love not for the sake of everybody” I told him, while crying more.

“I know” he said.

“I can’t do this but I have no choice.” I told him.

“Yes, you do Nana” he said.

“No! If I don’t get marry, many people are going to suffer”

He stood silence and I let go of the hug. He removed my tears away and I smile.

“Thanks” I said, and we went inside.

“What have you decided dear” Ms. Maru said.

“I agree to this marriage” I told them, and everybody smile expect Kenwha.
