Okay I realize I'm late again. But its only by like a half an hour. And i'm sorry. like a lot. but school started this week and such. so i've been busy. I went straight home from Kris’s house. I locked my apartment door behind me before curling up with a blanket on the couch in a ball, snuggling up to one of my many pillows.

Why hadn’t I pulled away?

The moment with Kris flashed across my mind again, for the billionth time. I shuddered, remembering the way his lips felt against mine, so perfect but so wrong.

Why would he do that?

I hadn’t done anything to receive or to earn that kiss. It was completely random. He had no right to mess with my feelings.

My thoughts went to Chen. What if he found out!? Would he get mad at me? No. No he wouldn’t. You didn’t kiss Kris, Kris kissed you. But you didn’t pull away.

I buried my head in my pillow, trying to forget about how it was partially my fault. It didn’t work. My head felt like it was spinning around and around and all I could focus on was Kris.

My thoughts were brought to a sudden halt as my phone started ringing. I peeked over the edge of my blanket at the lit up screen, dreading to see who it was.

Ignoring the fearful voice in my head, I reached over and grabbed it. I checked the number, letting out a relieved sigh as I saw it was an unknown caller.

I hesitantly picked it up, still a bit worried about who it could be.

“Hello?”

“Sun Hi!” the person on the other line exclaimed. His voice sounded familiar before it suddenly hit me.

“Chen!?”

“Yeah!”

“Oh my god, Chen!” I cried happily, for some reason I had the urge to break down in tears, but I held them in, “I miss you!”

“Why does it sound like you’re going to cry?” he demanded, instantly catching the change in my voice, “Whoever it is—I’ll kill them.”

I shakily laughed, still fighting the tears forming in my eyes.

“I’m not crying, I just miss you.”

“Babe, I miss you too,” he said gently.

“How are you?” I asked, hoping my voice would go back to normal, but of course it didn’t.

“Well besides missing you and the giant , I’ve been doing fine.”

Kris flashed across my mind suddenly; I felt like if I said anything, I would lose it and tell Chen. I bit my tongue, forcing myself from crying. Forcing myself, not to tell him.

“Sun Hi? Are you still there?”

“I—yeah.”

“Okay, good! I still have something to tell you!”

“…tell me?”

I could hear him take a deep breath before saying, “I’m staying in London for another month.”
