L's POV

We walked into the masion and I immediately was shocked by the extravagant decorations. The walls and floor were all white, there was a runway-like red carpet from the door to the other end of the room. There were tables and tables of food and a fountain that poured out drinks.

"Where do we go?" I asked Hye Su.

"I'll go introduce you to my parents." She replied. Feeling nervous, we walked over to a couple that seemed like in their 30s, but when I looked closer, they had small wrinkles around the eyes and mouth.

"Hello, mom, dad this is" Hye Su started to say.

"Myungsoo" I finished. I decided to use my real name. Hye Su's eyes widened and I realized it was because I had not told her my real name before.

"So Myungsoo, how are you aqquainted with our Hye Su." Hye Su's dad asked me.

"Oh, my sister is friends with Hye Su." I said.

"What friend?" He asked Hye Su.

"Just a friend I made in Middle School." Hye Su responded.

"So you knew them for a very long time." He said.

"Yeah well, they are good friends" Hye Su said.

"Well, Myungsoo, just enjoy the party and it was nice to meet you." Hye Su's father said sticking out his hand.

"You too Mr. Ra." I said taking his hand and shaking it.

Hye Su led me away from her parents and in the process, she bumped into another couple. The couple turned around and they seemed not friendly.

"Oh hi Hye Su, I see your still as clumsy as always" the girl said.

"Just shut it, Eun He" Hye Su said.

"So I see you are tired of your fiance already" Eun He said, eyeing me which made me feel uncomfortable.

"He is just my friend's brother." Hye Su defended herself.

"Well, he seems pretty handsome." Eun He said making Hye Su's eyes widen and freeze.

"Thanks" I said a bit uncomfortably.

"What's your name?" Eun He asked.

"Myungsoo"

"Hmmm, that is a nice name." Eun He replied a bit too sweetly. "I'll see you two later."

Hye Su immediately dragged me away from the couple.

"Stay away from her" Hye Su told me.

"Why" I said although I agree with Hye Su.

"Just stay away from her."

"Okay" I replied, puzzled.

"Let's sit down and get some food" Hye Su said. We picked a table and went to the buffet. We sat down with a plateful of food and started eating. The music started and everybody went to the area for dancing.

Hye Su's POV

I watched the couples that were dancing. They seemed to be really happy, I felt envious.

"Would you like to dance?" Someone said to me. I looked up he seemed really familiar. I looked at Myungsoo and he gave me an encouraging smile. I took the guy's hand and he led me to the dancefloor. It was a slow dance so I put my hands on his shoulders and his hands on my waist.

"Don't you remember me?" the guy said.

"Sorry, I don't" I said biting my lip.

"Hye Su! I'm Sungjong your best friend!"

O.O "SUNGJONG!!!!" I said very loudly causing people to look. "What are you doing here and not in America?"

Sungjong and I were best friends since I could talk. He is the same age as me and we went to school together until the first year of high school, when he went to America to study.

"I'm back here to take over my family's company." he said. "So what's happeening in your life?" he asked looking at L.

"He is my friend's brother." I lied.

"I also heard you were engaged."

"Sadly, that is true. I'm engaged to Seungri."

"Seungri......that playboy/jerk/many words I don't use." he asked.

"yep, that's him"

"WHAT! Do you want me to do something."

Seungri also went to our school and he was known to us as the prettyboy bully.

"You can't do anything. It's already announced."

Silence.........

We stopped talking after that so I started looking around. I spotted a familiar back. Is that L? He was dancing with a girl. I looked closer and saw that it was Eun He. My heart tightened. She saw me looking and smirked. She leaned in. No! She kissed L. My heart shattered. Before the pain and tears came I excused myself from Sungjong and went to the car.

L's POV

I started to get bored after Hye Su left. I looked around the room for something interesting. Suddenly, someone tapped my shoulder. I looked to see who it was and it turned out to be Eun He.

"Dance with me" she said.

"Why do I have to?" I replied.

"Do as I say or you will regret it." she said fiercely. Scared, I got up and she went to the dance floor. I joined her and she forcefully made me slow dance with her. Awkwardly, I danced, but I never looked at her. I was always looking at something else in the room. Just then, I felt pressure on my lips and saw Eun He right in front of me, kissing me. EWWWWWW. I broke away from her and ran away. As I was running outside, I noticed Hye Su go into the car. WHAT, wait for meeeeeeee.

I ran to the car, but she already drove away. Great, how do I get home now to sanitize my lips? A car stopped in front of me and the window facing me was sliding down. It was the guy that Hye Su was dancing with.

"Get in" the guy said. I did nothing.

"Do you want to get home or what?" he replied. Sighing, I got into the car and he drove on.

"My name is Sungjong." the guy said.

"My name is L"

"Well, L, I am Hye Su's best friend. Close enough to know what's going on in her head by one look."

"Okayyyyyy" I said.

"L, as much as it pains me to say it as her friend, Hye Su likes you!"

"Your lying."

"I am not. I saw her face when Eun He kissed you. She pretended nothing happened, but I saw the truth."

Shocked, I became mute with a million thoughts racing in my head. So was she really jealous back at the mall? Did she cry because of me?

"How do I know your not lying?" I questioned Sungjong.

"Aish, just find her and you will know." He said and stopped the car. I saw that we were in front of Hye Su's house. Her car was here. She is here.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked Sungjong.

"Because, I don't want to see Hye Su end up with Seungri. Take care of her."

With that, I got out of the car and went inside the house. It was pitch black so I the lights. No one was here. I started searching for Hye Su, but I couldn't find her. Where is she?

..........The garden!

I went outside to the tree and saw a figure sitting by it. I walked over and saw that it was Hye Su.

"Hye Su" I softly said.

Hye Su's POV

"Hye Su" someone said. Please let it not be L. I looked up and saw L. Dang it.

"Go away!" I yelled.

"Hye Su, do you like me?" he asked, startling me.

"Why? Do you want to make fun of me with your girlfriend." I started to cry again.

"She's not my girlfriend. She forced me to dance with her and she kissed me!" He bent down in front of me, making me lean against the tree.

"Your lying" I barely said.

"I like you, Hye Su" he said. My heart jumped when he said that.

"I don't believe you"

"Do you believe this?" With that he leaned in and put his lips on mine. My eyes widened and I fought with my urge to kiss back. I lost. I closed my eyes and we stayed like that for a long time.

Ooooooooohhhhhhhh the romance begins!!!!!!! YAY I'm kinda awkward with writing these scenes so be patient with me. Also, it turns out that I will not get my poster up because of technical difficulties. Sorry!!!!

P.S. Sorry if the chapter titles don't make any sense because I wrote "Party Time" on the last chapter when the party starts in this chapter.
