Shin’s P.O.V

When I woke up the next morning I found Jonghyun sleeping next to me. He looked so peaceful and I felt like I never could grow tired of just looking at him.

I still wasn’t sure if Jonghyun was the right choice but no matter what I still needed to complete this bet and through the night I had reminded myself of something. Jonghyun  was just a bet and my job was to make him dump me. Then we couldn’t be together at all. If he was totally insane and didn’t dump me he would probably be mad at me for lying and acting in front of him.

I let out a sigh. “Yep no hope at all” I mumbled to myself. That was a shame because I was really falling for him. I needed to stop me in that and the only possible way was to make him dump me as fast as possible.

* Jonghyun, you’re so going to have the worst time of your life* I thought. The question was just how I was going to do that. I was surprised that he hadn’t dumped me yet.

Jonghyun’s P.O.V

“Jonghyun baby!” Shin beamed as she woke me up and came into the apartment. I squinted my eyes and grumbled.

 “Take me out to eat today!” She demanded. “What?” I asked confused and rubbed my eyes.

“Take.Me.Out.To.Eat” She repeated slowly.

I furrowed my eyebrows. Why did she act this way again? I mean, yesterday she was really sweet just like the day I’ve met her. And now she’s like this again?

I sighed and realized that I would only bring up a fight if I said no. “Fine” I grumbled.

“Yay!” She beamed happily and made a small jump in joy. Her look darkened again when she saw the mess on the floor.

“Jonghyun! Haven’t I told you a thousand times to clean up your mess!?” Shin  sighed annoyed.

“I’ll clean it later”

 “You will clean it now. I can stand to look at this anymore!” She complained.

“Then close your eyes” I mumbled. Unfortunately she heard me.

“Really?” She asked as I wasn’t thankful enough for her little mother-act.

I calmed myself down in my head and started to count to 10 as my mum had learnt me. “That way you will have time to calm down before you say something stupid” Her words echoed in my head.

“1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. Just take a deep breath, Jonghyun” I pep talked myself in my head.

“Shall we go out to eat now?” Shin asked me. “This early?”

“Duh! It’s almost lunch your sleepyhead!” Shin playfully smacked my arm. “Damn her moodswings…” I grumbled in my head.

“Sure!” I said as happy as I could be and forced myself the smile. “Let’s go” I said and grabbed for her hand.

“Where do you want to eat?” I asked Shin and still tried to stay in good mood.

“There!” Shin pointed at a café.

“Sure?” I asked.

Shin simply nodded and pulled me nearer the café. As we got closer I saw it was completely stuffed with people.

“I don’t think they have a table for us. Look how many people there are” I said and pointed through the window.

Shin ignored me and entered the café. “Sir, can we get a table?” She asked the waiter.

“I’m sorry miss. No one’s free right now” He answered politely.

Shin looked at me. “Find us a table” She ordered me. “But they don’t have any. I know another really good café we can--“ Shin cut me off.

“I want this one!” She wailed. “I’m sorry, Shin” I apologized.

“NOW!” She screamed. “Geez” I muttered. I walked closer to the waiter. “Is there just any possibility that you can find two seats for us? It can be with another coupe or so? Please, she’s so PMS’ing” I begged the waiter.

The waiter looked at the filled café and the at the furious Shin. He sighed. “I’ll try, wait here” He said and walked into the café. He started to talk with a couple and then came back to us a short while after.

“The couple over there is okay with you two to join their table”, the waiter said and pointed at a couple sitting in the corner.

“Thank you very much, Sir” I said and gave him a polite bow.

“Thank you for letting us sit with you” I smiled at the woman and man. They smiled at us. “You’re welcome” The woman said.

“So, what are you doing for work?” The woman asked us to start a conversation.

“I work at an office but it’s just a temporary solution. I have a dream about getting in music business. I know it’s sound naïve but it’s what I really want to do” I explained.

The woman smiled when she heard I was into music. “I think it’s good to have a dream and you seem like the idol-type. Maybe you can make it” The woman encouraged me. “Thank you” I smiled.

We all turned our attention at Shin waiting for her to say something but she kept quiet. I lightly puffed her.. “Shin. Say something” I hissed at her rude behavior.

Shin just kept starring rudely at the couple. The looked at me as to ask what was wrong with her.

“Eh heh… Sorry for her behavior. She’s a little sick today” I lied. “Oh is that so?” The woman asked and laid a hand on Shin’s forehead.

“She doesn’t seem warm though” The woman wondered.

“That’s because she has… A stomach flu” I lied again.

Finally Shin spoke up; she just said the wrong things. “Stop lying for me, Jonghyun. I’m just born rude okay?” She coldly said and continued starring.

The couple nodded unaware of what to do. “Sorry” I said and lowered my head to show the older couple some respect.

They couple stopped talking with us. I understood them very well. We must’ve looked very weird and mean, a rude and starring girl with her boyfriend lying.

“What would you like to eat?” The waiter asked us.

“I would like a piece of cheesecake, a piece of chocolate cake, strawberry pie and your best ice cream” Shin ordered like it was no big deal.

“For lunch?” I asked her. “Yes” She said firm.

“I’ll just have a Caesar salad” I ordered and the waiter nodded and walking away.

When our food came I realized how much Shin ordered. I stared in disbelief at Shin eating her cakes.

“How can you eat that much?” I asked. Shin looked up from her strawberry pie.

“What are you trying to say?” She asked and sent me a challenging look.

“I mean don’t you think it’s a lot of cake?” I carefully asked.

“Are you calling me fat?”

“No! I just--“ Shin cut me off with a loud wail.

“My boyfriend thinks I’m fat!” She cried all over the café.

All the people turned their attention towards us. The women sending me angry looks.

“You’re disrespectful man! You don’t deserve her!” And old woman scolded me.

“No it’s not like that!” I assured her. She just scoffed at me.

Shin started to cry out loud. I leant towards her. “Shin please stop this. I didn’t mean it that way. You’re not fat. It’s a little embarrassing to cry in the middle of a café” I whispered.

“Now he says he’s embarrassed of me!” Shin cried even louder.

Then a cold glass of water hit my face. “What the--?” I looked confused up. The angry old woman stood in front of me with an empty glass in her hand.

“You don’t deserve any woman at all!” She said and spun her heel to walk away.

“I have to ask you to leave the café. You’re freaking people out” The  waiter said. “Yes sir.” I said and left some money at the table. I dragged the still crying Shin out of the café.

On all the way home I really tried to stay calm. “1,2,3,4…” I needed to count out loud to not go crazy.

As soon as we were out of the café Shin stopped crying and acted like nothing had happened.

“I have a surprise for you, honey” Shin said happily as we entered the apartment.

“Here you go!” She smiled and handed me a huge scrapbook. “J+S” was written on the front page.

I opened the scrapbook. “First date” Was the topline. A huge commercial sticker from the Mexican hot dog stand was put on top and she had written all of the lines the Mexicans sang.

I couldn’t help but smile. It was actually kind of cute. “Try the next page” Shin said and turned to the next page for me. The smile was still on my face and I expected more cute things but my smile faded when I saw the page.

“First marriage (and hopefully the last)” Was written as a headline. There was a picture of a married couple with our head put on top of the original couple.

“W-what is this?” I stuttered. Did she just propose?

“No silly I’m not proposing to you. It’s you there have to do that” She laughed. Maybe it was her point to calm me down but it just made me panic even more.

Shin turned to the next page. “First baby” was written. A picture printed from those find-out-how-your -baby-will-look-like pages at the internet.  A really ugly mix of our faces, probably a baby, smiled at me.

“He’s going to be named Bae. He’s cute isn’t he?” Shin asked.

“What the hell is this?” I asked. “You don’t like it?” Shin pouted.

“You basically just forced me to propose to you and decided what our baby was going to be names. I don’t even want to have a baby right now!” I screamed in frustration. All of my anger through the day came out of me.

“You don’t want to have babies with me?” Shin pouted.

“NO! We just started dating!” I shouted.

Shin looked at me for a few seconds and then started crying out loud.

“My boyfriend hates me!” She cried.

“I didn’t say that!” I shouted.

“You think I’m fat!” She cried.

“Don’t start that again!”

“He thinks I’m ugly!”

“I never said that!”

“He doesn’t want my babies!” Shin continued crying.

“You want to have babies? Fine let’s go make someone right now!” I screamed.

Shin suddenly stopped crying and just stared at me.

“What’s wrong? You got what you wanted didn’t you? Come on, make babies with me!” I shouted. Then I realized what I just said. I widened my eyes in shock over myself.

A smile crept upon Shin’s face. Then she burst out laughing. “Omg you’re expression was priceless!” She laughed. I couldn’t help but laugh a little myself. We ended up on the floor laughing our asses of.

Sorry about not updating for long. I have some problems with this story. I know where it’s going I just have some problems getting the story there. But please bear with me and I will try to update as soon as I can. Thank you for reading! :-)
