I looked at Jonghyun who stared at me as well. I could feel his breath on my cheek and we laid close on the couch. I looked down at our intertwined fingers and smiled.

It seemed like Jonghyun was back to normal again. In a point I felt a little disappointed but mostly relieved. He was kind of scaring… Not to mention hot.

He just laid there and looked into my eyes. It was kind of uncomfortable but I didn’t break our stare. He looked at me like he tried to read what I was thinking of or maybe why I always acted so weird and childish.

My relaxed mood disappeared like the wind when I remembered that our little make out session probably just was Jonghyun’s way of saying goodbye. Maybe it really just was my pay and now he just waited for me to get out.

“Jonghyun, I need to know… Where you know… We stand”, I mumbled. I broke our intertwined hands and looked away from him. This was probably goodbye.

“You really screwed up this time”, Jonghyun said. So it was goodbye. My stomach rolled into a tight little ball of sorrow. I really didn’t want to lose Jonghyun.

“So this is goodbye?” I asked him still not facing him.

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion when I felt his hands catch mine again. I turned my head towards his and found him surprisingly smiling at me.

“I didn’t say anything about breaking up, Shin”, He said.

“Does that mean..?”

“I’m not that easy to get rid of. So unless you want to say goodbye I’ll still stick up with you”, Jonghyun smiled.

My eyes widened in happiness. “Really?” Jonghyun nodded and smiled. Just as I was about to lean in for a hug Jonghyun stopped me with his arms.

“Wait. I have decided not to have forgiven you yet”, he smirked. My eyes widened. “Not one more round of pay, right?” I asked, not sure what answer I hoped for.

Jonghyun chuckled. “You really did enjoy that, didn’t you?” He smirked.

My cheeks instantly grew red and I hide my face with my hands in embarrassment. Jonghyun removed my hands again.

“So what’s my pay this time?” I asked him.

“This may sound weird but… You can’t freak out on me for… Let’s say 2 days?” Jonghyun suggested.

 Oh right, the bet-thing. I had totally forgotten about it. “Only for two days?”

Jonghyun rubbed his neck. “Well yeah… Since you have them quite often isn’t two days long for you?” He asked me.

I couldn’t help but chuckle. Even though I had been the meanest he kept being so incredible considerate. It was like he didn’t even thought of being it; it just laid to his nature to be kind.

“You’re so cute”, I smiled and kissed his nose. Before I could pull away Jonghyun grabbed my waist and captured me in his embrace.

His lips found my lips and they gently touched mine. Wanting more, I touched his lips and bit in his under lip. His hands my long hair and he moved closer to me.

Our bodies tangled up in each other. His lips travelled down my neck while my hands played with his soft hair.

Suddenly Jonghyun lips stopped what they were doing. “Shin?” Jonghyun mumbled, his lips still planted right under my jawline.

“Hm?” Was all I managed to answer. “I’m sorry to ruin the... um moment, but I’m actually…” Jonghyun stopped in the middle of the sentence as he was really embarrassed.

“What’s wrong?” I asked. He looked at me with his big puppy eyes. “To be honest I’m starving”, he admitted.

“You stop all this because you’re hungry?” I asked, disbelieving. Jonghyun got red cheeks and looked down. I just stared at him for a while. Then I broke into a huge grin.

“That’s the cutest thing I’ve ever heard”, I laughed. Jonghyun looked up at me, surprised. “You’re not mad?” He asked.

“Duh. I promised not to be”, I smiled and got up from the couch. “I actually didn’t count on you to keep the promise…” Jonghyun mumbled, mostly to himself.

“Where are you going?” Jonghyun asked me and got up at well. I just smiled and continued to walk towards the kitchen.

“Since I seem to have lacked out a bit on the be-a-good-girlfriend-scale I’ll cook a meal for you”, I said. Jonghyun smiled big and back-hugged me.

“That’s so cute!” He said. Then he broke his embrace. “Wait, does that mean there’s a -be-a-good-boyfriend-scale to?” Jonghyun asked in panic.

I laughed. “Yup.” Jonghyun nervously touched his hair. “So… How am I doing?” He asked.

I couldn’t help but a little even though he defiantly got the top grade on the scale. “Well… Honestly you could do a little better”, I said as I was disappointed in him.

“Really? Then what should I do to be a better boyfriend?” Jonghyun asked and sounded like he really wanted to improve.

I shrugged my shoulders. “You have to figure that out yourself mister. It would be cheating if I just told you the answers, wouldn’t it?”

“Can you at least give me a hint?” Jonghyun desperately asked. “Nope”, I smirked.

“So what do you want to eat?” I asked him before he could colt any further.

“Hm… What would a good boyfriend say?” Jonghyun asked me.

“Tsk. He would ask me out for dinner”, I joked. Jonghyun obviously didn’t catch the joke and reacted quickly. “Okay let’s do it then”, He said and already started to search for his wallet.

I grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him back into the kitchen. “Jerk, I was only joking”, I said. “Oh”, Jonghyun nodded.

“Well then I would like some kimchi if it’s not too much to ask?” Jonghyun suggested. “Sure”, I said and opened the drawer with food.

“Um… Actually it kind of looks like you only have those ready-prepared ramen”, I said as I looked at the almost empty drawer.

“Ramen it is then”, Jonghyun shrugged his shoulders.

I boiled some water and quickly made some ramen. As we started to eat the door suddenly slammed open.

“SHIN! What happened? Did you show up!? Please tell me you didn’t! I rushed over here as fast as I could! I swear if you just listened to me this wouldn’t have ended this way! I forgot that his mum was coming too! Did he scream? Kill you!?” Key shouted as he barged into the apartment in panic.

His voice faded when his eyes landed on Jonghyun and me peacefully eating ramen together. “Wait, why are you so relaxed?” He asked and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

I couldn’t help but laugh at his rushed expression. “First of all: Key, are you sure you rushed over here? It’s been like an eternity”, I asked him.

“Well… First I needed my beauty sleep and then I kinda ran into a sale on  the way here”, he mumbled embarrassed and eyed the 5 shoppingbags in his hands. Typical Key.

“Second: We… Kind of figured it out”, I said.

Jonghyun just looked confused from Key then to me and then to Key.

“Wait, where you in this?” He asked Key.

“It’s not what you think! I just-“ Key started to excuse himself but I interrupted him.

“We were just talking and I started to talk about how I would show up. Key tried to warn me but I was too stupid to catch it”, I defended him. This would be a bad time to make Key and Jonghyun enemies and reveal the bet as a cherry on top couldn’t end in anything but chaos.

“Well I’m just glad you seem to be friends then. How did it happen? Weren’t you like diva enemies?” Jonghyun asked.

“Well… We sorta figured things out”, Key mumbled not mentioning the reason why we made up.
