Anger
MOONSUN WE GOT MARRIED!Anger. The worst emotion to let take control. But if not let out, it’ll shimmer and rot, tearing you from inside out. But if let out untamed, the words that will come out will burn every bridge.
Yongsun has always been an explosive person. She’s headstrong. And that comes out horribly when mixed with anger.
So she tries to keep a lid on it until they’re alone, and tries so hard to cool and controll a bit of the anger before she let it out.
The moment she heard the door locks, like a spring, she uncoils, red with anger. Her hand slaps the younger girl’s face, the sound echoing through her pounding heart.
Red. Byul’s face. Much like hers.
Byul gently touch her face, shocked, before it morph into anger, “What the Yongsun?”
“I shouldn’t have agree to come here,”
She turns around, not wanting to see the other girl, and starts to pace the room like a cage animal.
“What the hell is your problem?”
She twirls around, getting right into Byulyi’s face, finger poking her chest painfully, “You! You’re the problem!”
Byul slaps the finger away, “What, because I wanted to take you on a trip?”
“You make decisions as if it doesn’t affect other people!”
“Our company -”
“NO! You! You have your fans and your freedom and your stability! You can afford to have a company release an empty statement, but I can’t!”
“ Byul, do you now know what the headlines are going to say? Protect privacy? Ha! For you maybe! But for me? For my members? People are going to think i’m using you!”
Yongsun pushes the other girl away, causing her back to slam into the door knob.
Byul’s eyes narrow as she talks towards Yonsun, growling out, “You think I don't know that? You think I don't know how this industry works? I’ve dealt with it a lot longer than you.”
“Then why the -”
“Time! To buy us time!”
“We don't have time! You of all people should know that! We have to stay ahead of the narrative! Book me a flight back to Korea!”
“No! We nee -”
“Excuse me? Did you just say no?” Yongsun calmly asks, but the tone of her voice had a hard angry edge.
Byul huff out a breath, trying to reel in her anger, not wanting things to escalate.
“Unnie, look -”
“Book me a flight now Byulyi,”
“Let’s be reasonable,”
“OH! Now I’m being insane??”
“I didn’t say that!”
“Let’s be reasonable? you Byulyi! What’s reasonable is not being here in the first place!”
“I never forced you to come here! You agreed! Or did you forget?!”
Bam.
“You’re ing mistake Byulyi”
Her hand moves on it’s own. Somehow, it picked up an ashtray on the table and flung it towards the younger girl.
Anger. Anger doesn’t like to be blamed. When anger is present, the fault is always with the other person. To imply otherwise is to pour gas into an inferno.
In a flash, Yongsun was right in front of Byulyi, hands grabbing the collars of her shirt, snarling in her face, ready to unleash her anger.
Fear. For a split second, Yongsun saw fear flashes through Byulyi’s eyes, before blankness took over. Her face was still angry, but there’s nothing in her eyes. And just like that, all of Yongsun’s anger disappears, left with only a hollowness of something broken.
“Does it make you feel better?”
Yongsun steps away, releasing her hand from Byul’s shirt, “I-”
There’s a cut on her cheek, the thin red line of blood trickling down her face.
“Does it make you feel better, Yongsun?” Byul asks again, without any emotion in her voice.
“Move.”
This time, Byulyi listens and step to the side, allowing access to the door.
Yongsun unlocks the door and walks out, clicking the door behind her.
AN - I got very sidetracked writing this chapter. For some reason, writing this chapter makes me want to write a medieval fic staring Mamamoo. I have to stop myself from adding in dragons. So weird. I dont know where in this chapter screams "let's make them fight to be queen" but yeah...um, would anyone be interested in reading that? I'm not an action writer and i tend to stray into comedy and lightness, so it'll probbaly be them falling in love and ruling together LOL
