Sehun's tapping his pen on his notebook with a frown on his face while he listens to his senior talking about the patient whom disease still can't be classified when one of his interns barges in while panting, making everyone in the discussion room turns to look at the younger guy who's standing with his head down in front of the door.

"What is this behaviour, Seo Intern?"

One of the senior doctors speak up, glaring at the poor guy,

"I'm sorry for barging in. I'm here to inform Dr. Oh that his wife is in the ER and I heard Dr. Kang said she's in a critical condition. So she asked-"

Sehun sprints out of the discussion room, leaving his poor intern bowing before he runs to follow him. Sehun runs down the stairs towards the ER, his heart beating so fast and when he arrived at the ER, he looks around but saw no one from their family, making him turns around to look at his intern who's panting,

"Where is she?"

"The surgery room."

Sehun nods, running towards the surgery room and he could see a familiar old woman sitting on one of the chairs outside the room. he rushed to stand in front of Aunty Jaekyung who's crying,

"What happened?"

Sehun looks down at the older woman with a frown,

"I think someone got into the house and beat her. I saw the guy trying to drag her out and when he heard me screaming he pushed me aside and run off. I couldn't catch him because Taehee... She.."

Aunty Jaekyung starts sobbing, putting both her palms on her face. Sehun tries to calm himself,

"Do you remember his face? His figure?"

Aunty Jaekyung shakes his head,

"He was covering his face."

Sehun sighs, 

"Thank you so much, Aunty. You can go home now, it's getting late."

Aunty Jaekyung wipes her tears and stands up, patting the taller guy's shoulder before she makes her way out of the hallway. Sehun sighs again, plopping himself on one of the chairs, taking his phone out to inform their families before he leans his head on the wall, closing his eyes while he waits for the doctors to come out.

The automatic door slides open and the lights turn green which indicates that the surgery is over, making everyone rushes towards the doctors who just came out of the room. 

"Can I speak to Dr. Oh only? I'm very sorry but there's so much I need to explain so it's better if I talk to her husband personally and let him inform the other family members."

Dr. Kang politely says, making Taehee's father march forwards with teary eyes,

"I'm her father, I need-"

"You're going with me, dad."

Sehun said, making Taehee's father nods before he starts walking with his son in law and the other doctors. Leaving Aunt Nana leaning her head on Uncle Jusu's shoulder.

"Have a seat."

Dr. Kang smiles, her hand signalling the two guys in front of her to sit while she looks at something in her desktop before she turns to look at Sehun and his father in law.

"Your wife broke few of her ribs, fractured her left leg and both of her arms, her lungs collapsed. And due to a huge impact on her face, she suffers from facial fractures as well. She might also not be able to move her body for a few days. She's in a criticial condition when she was first brought here but she made it throughout the surgery so she's stable now."

Taehee's father couldn't feel his legs once he heard what the doctor in front of him has said, knowing that his small daughter is suffering so many injuries around her tiny body breaks his heart. He starts sobbing until Sehun pats his shoulder,

"There's also bruises on her bodies which I believe coming from either being kicked or stepped on. I think you need to file a report on your wife's injuries, Dr. Oh. It seems like she's purposedly being beaten up."

Sehun clenches his fist as he tries to calm himself, Dr. Kang slides her chair and takes a ziploc bag that's lying on a table behind her, the plastic contains Taehee's outfits inside it, she then hands it towards Sehun.

"You can actually see some shoe prints on some parts of her shirt."

Taehee's father turns to look at Sehun who remains calm but he could see him clenching the ziploc bag he's holding before he bows and thanked the doctor. Taehee's father wipes his tears as they walk towards her room,
