"Eun Taehee, you cut your hair?!"

Both Nanhee and Jiwon's eyes widen once they saw their bestfriend with her new short bob haircut with her bangs neatly placed on her forehead when they come to pick their bestfriend and her children for their impromptu trip around Europe, which was originally a family trip but since Sehun's acting like a whole by ignoring his own wife for the past two days, they decided to join Taehee on her trip. Taehee smiles faintly as she puts her baggage inside Jiwon's car trunk. 

"I cut it for her just now."

Aunt Nana who's holding Minkyung said as she looks at the two of her daughter in law's bestfriends. Nanhee purses her lips,

"Didin't you said you love your long hair more than anything?"

"I did. But I love my children more than my hair, my hair can grow longer but my kids only have me. Besides, it'll be hard to take care of them with my long hair. It gets in the way and Youngie and Kyungie seems to like to pull it everytime they're in my arms."

Nanhee turns to look at Jiwon with a sad look on her face. Aunt Nana gently pats Taehee's shoulder, she notices the cold tension between her son and his wife for the past two days. The two of them seem to not even talk to each other and seem to be avoiding each other. She wanted to talk with her son but Sehun's coming home very late for the past two days compared to before he and his wife are putting cold shoulders towards each other. 

"Shouldn't you tell Sehun about your trip?"

Taehee's father who helps put the twins strollers closes the car trunk and moves to take a better look of his daughter,

"What's the point? He wouldn't even care."

Taehee said with a slight pain in her voice as she looks at Minyoung who's putting her cute cheek on her shoulder. Taehee's father sighs,

"No matter how he treats you and your children, he's still your husband and he should-"

"I don't want to talk about him, dad."

Taehee cuts her father's words off and moves to give Minyoung to Nanhee before she takes Minkyung from her mother in law's arms. Aunt Nana looks at her daughter in law with tears in her eyes, feeling guilty and sad that her son is being so unresponsible towards his wife and his children. She then pulls Taehee in for a hug, her hands gently patting Taehee's shoulder as she whispers,

"I'm sorry, sweetheart. I'm really sorry Hunnie is acting like a brat these past days. You don't deserve any of it. He should've appreciated you for throwing away your dreams and for taking care of his children. I'm so sorry."

Taehee could feel tears b in her eyes as she tighten her mother in law's hug. It hurts her so much that instead of apologizing, Sehun has been ignoring her and their children completely after the night she showed him the tickets. He didn't even sleep with her on the bed which hurts her more, as if he really hates her for being his burden, for being the one who seems to decide everything for him when all she did was just arranging a trip for them to spend time together as a family for the first time ever. Taehee releases the hugs and smiles as she wipes her mother in law's tears,

"Mom, dad, can you please not tell Sehun where we'll be staying and what we did there. Even though I doubt he's going to care but just in case."

Taehee's father about to lecture her again but seeing the sad and heartbroken look in his only daughter's face, he gives in as he sighs and nods. Aunt Nana smiles bitterly,

"We won't say a thing. Just please take care of yourself and your children."

Taehee smiles as she mutters a thank you. 

"Jiwon, Nanhee, please look after my daughter and my grandchildren."

Taehee's father words immediately make Jiwon and Nanhee nod their head. Nanhee's about to say something when Tokki who's already sitting inside the backseat of the car cutely shoves his head out of the window,

"When are we going?"

Everyone laughs as they turn to look at the little guy who has a cute pout on his face and they bid their goodbyes before Jiwon starts driving to the airport. Taehee held on the heart locket from the necklace on her neck that Sehun got her as she looks out the window along their way to the airport with Minkyung sleeping soundly in her arms. Droplets of tears fall on her cute face everytime she thinks of how broken her marriage is with Sehun now.

Sehun gets home early that day after getting a whole lecture from Jongin and Minjae about him ignoring his wife and his children. He kind of feel ashamed towards Jongin when he's the one who lectured him to spend time with his wife and daughter but he's the one wh
