Seoul Hospital

Sunmi run as fast as she can at the hallway after she arrived at the hospital. When she’s working, she got a call from hospital saying that her best friend involve in fatal accident. Without thinking twice, she rushed to the hospital

“Sunmi unnie!” she hear a familiar voice calling her

“Yerim, Sooyoung!” she runs towards them. Their eyes puffy due to crying “Hey how is Seulgi? Is she okay?”

“Seulgi unnie still undergo surgery. Doctor said she have severe injury and unconscious when she was brought here. If we’re not lucky, we may be lost her” Joy said with tears

“What about Joohyun?”

“Joohyun unnie also have serious injury. She’s also under surgery right now. Unnie hit her head badly and it’s really worrying”

“Aigooo, poor thing. Who is with her now?”

“Her family just arrived before you and we not allow going there” said Yerim with sad expression

Sunmi sighs sadly “How did this happen? Is Seulgi drunk or something?”

“Doctor not telling anything yet but according to police investigation, Seulgi unnie car brake malfunctions and then collided with truck from opposite direction”

“Oh my” Sunmi rubbed her face as she can’t believe what Yerim just told her

They are waiting in front of surgery room for few hours. Finally doctor comes out of the room, looking for Seulgi relative

“Relative of patient Kang Seulgi” the doctor said

“We’re here doctor” Sunmi said as she stands up while the younger girls follow suite

“We done operate her and we did it” doctor said with smile

“How is she now, doctor?” Yerim asked

“Her condition still not really good and we can’t expect when she will wake up”

“Will she make it?” Joy asked

“She will make it but not soon. Her body is very weak so it will take time for her to wake up. Don’t worry, she will be fine”

“Doctor, may I know if she has injury on her head?” Sunmi asked

“She just has scratch on her forehead but it’s nothing to worry about. No inner injury or something”

“Thanks God”

“That’s all for now. Our nurse will transfer her to private room then you all can visit her”

“Thanks doctor” they bow to the doctor

“Unnie!” Yerim barge into Seulgi’s room followed by Joy startling Sunmi who is busy checking her phone

“Yes Yerim, what’s wrong?” Sunmi look at the duo confusedly

“Do you know that Joohyun unnie is discharge from the hospital?”

Sunmi jolt on her seat “No, is she wakes up already? I heard she’s serious than Seulgi. It’s like 4 days so I guess she not yet wake up”

“We also don’t know unnie. Shall we check at nurse?” Joy suggest

“Sure, let’s go” they go to the nurse counter

“Yes ma’am, may I help you?” the nurse asked politely

“Nurse, may I know where is the patient named Bae Joohyun? We want to visit her but her former room is empty” Sunmi said

The nurse expression change a bit “She is discharge this morning”

“Is she awake?”

“Not yet”

“Is that mean she transfers to another hospital?”

“Sorry ma’am, I’m not allowed to tell anyone about her. That’s all I can help you”

They sighed disappointedly “It’s okay”

They walk back to Seulgi room and bump into doctor who in-charge of Seulgi “Dr. Park” Sunmi call the female doctor

“Yes Ms. Lee”

“Do you know a patient name Bae Joohyun?”

“Oh yes, she same case with Ms. Kang”

“We heard that she discharged. Is she waking up?” Joy asked impatiently

Dr. Park shake her head “Not yet but her family transfer her to hospital abroad. They want her to get better treatment there so they leaved this morning”

Sunmi, Joy and Yerim look at each other “Okay, thanks doctor”

“No problem” Dr. Park said then she excuse herself

The girls return to the room and sit on the couch

“Unnie, how we should tell Seulgi unnie when she is wakes up one day? She must be looking for Joohyun unnie” Yerim asked while looking at Seulgi sadly

“I don’t know Yerimie. I can’t think now. She will be sad if she find out that Joohyun is not around anymore” Sunmi answered

“I can’t imagine she will devastate when she find out Joohyun unnie was brought to overseas. They never separate even their families never agree with their relationship. They go through a lot together, aigooo” Joy said

“Hope she will be fine when she know about this. I really can’t see her crying in this condition. Seeing her in this state make me hurt inside” Sunmi caressed Seulgi hand

“Poor unnie” the girls said

After a month battle with her life, finally Seulgi wake up from her coma. Dr. Park informed Sunmi, Yerim and Joy about the good news and they immediately go to hospital to see the bear

“Seulgi-ah” Sunmi arrived first than the two others

“Unnie” Seulgi said weakly

“Seulgi-ah, you awake” Sunmi kiss Seulgi forehead and she crying

“Unnie, don’t cry”

“You don’t know how worried I am after I got the news that you involve in accident. I thought I will lose you. Me, Joy and Yerim waiting for you every day but you not wake up” Sunmi said under her sobs

“I’m sorry unnie”

“Don’t be sorry, you wake up is good enough for us” Sunmi said

At the same time, Yerim and Joy also arrived. They run to Seulgi and hugging her

“Seulgi unnie, finally you wake up. We miss you so much” Joy said

“I miss you all too” Seulgi smile

“Unnie, sorry because we’re not around when you wake up” Yerim wiping her tears

“It okay, Dr. Park said you all accompany me every day. I’m thankful for that”

“We won’t leave you alone” Sunmi caressed Seulgi hair softly

Suddenly Seulgi asked the question that they want to avoid “Where is Joohyun?” Their eyes widened as they looked at each other “Yah, why no one answer me? Don’t make me worry”

“Seul, she is at other room now” Sunmi lie

“Is she hurt badly?” Seulgi sound very sad

“Not really but she not wake up yet”

“Can I visit her?”

They gasped inaudibly “No Seul, not yet. You have to rest now”

“Unnie, I want to see her. I’m worry now. She must be waiting for me as much as I wait for her to come here”
