Kang Seulgi POV

Hi everyone, I am Kang Seulgi or well-known as Seulgi Kang, the Vice Chairman of SK International. My father is one of well-known figure in our country and also in Asia. This year my age is 27 years old. Lately, my parents keep bringing up the topic that suffocating me. They want me to settle down because they think I’m old enough to start a family. They don’t care whoever I marry as long as the person that I choose is not wild and materialistic. Almost every day my mom wills nagging about it to me and it stress me out more than my workload did. Aigooo, I need help from my friends regarding this. Luckily all of them working with me so it easy for me to gather all of them

Seulgi is in her office while waiting for her friends to come. Few minutes later, they enter one by one. She still closing her eyes and pinching her nose bridge every now and then “Seul, everyone is here already so I think we can start now” Krystal whisper to Seulgi. She is Seulgi’s secretary and personal assistant also her best friend since diapers

Seulgi joined her friends on the couch “Unnie” she whimpers

“What’s wrong dude? You looked drain today” Yuri asking

“I think God want to take me soon” Seulgi sighs heavily

Everyone gasped “Yah, what’s wrong with you? Are you sick?” Taeyeon ask worriedly

“No”

“Then, what is bothering you? Tell us quickly”

“Actually…” Seulgi massage her temple “My parent ask me to settle down”

“REALLY?” they shout

“Yes”

“Who is that lucky person?” Yuri asked excitedly

“I haven’t found anyone yet. They just keep nagging about that lately”

“This is the real problem, right? You still don’t have partner” said Krystal

“Yes”

“Aigooo, what will you do now?” Hyoyeon ask

“That why I ask all of you to come. I have special task for all of you”

“What is it?” everyone curious

“I need help. Find someone for me” Seulgi showing her puppy eyes to the older girls

Her friends sigh again “This thing is not easy” said Yoona

“It’s harder than looking for customer” Sooyoung added

“Seul, how do we should help you? I guess all of us not really good at this stuff” said Seohyun

“I don’t know unnie, just go and find someone who are good enough and match with me. I don’t know what to think anymore”

Suddenly Krystal remember something “Seul, you want local or foreign?”

Seulgi thinking for a while “I think not picky and you know my type”

“We will try to work for this but it takes time. We will help you, don’t worry” Krystal pat Seulgi shoulder

“Okay, thank you guys” Seulgi said weakly

“If there is nothing else, we will leave now and you should rest. You’re really messy now” said Sooyoung

“Okay, good luck unnie. I wait for good news”

“Okay” her friends leave and Seulgi rest in her office. Finally he has good rest after the chaos

Everyone gather again outside at Krystal desk “Yah, what are we going to do? She looked really desperate” Sunny looking at her friends’ one by one

“Where we could find someone for her?” Yuri added

“Anyone know dating agency around here or someone who also want a couple?” Taeyeon asking her friends

“I not really sure about dating agency but I know we have few around our place” Hyoyeon said

“Okay, I will search for it then I will tell all of you soon” said Krystal

“Good, find it quickly so we can make a move. I feel sorry for her. She never her messy and desperate before” Taeyeon said

“Alright” Krystal said. Everyone back to their office while Krystal starts searching for dating agencies around them

After got the information about the dating agencies around them, Krystal call their friends and they meet at Taeyeon office

“I got all the information about dating agencies in town yesterday” said Krystal and she open the file

“Wow. You so quick, no wonder she trust you” Hyoyeon clapped her hand “Taeyeon is so lucky to have you”

Krystal chuckle because of Hyoyeon praise “Aigooo, everyone also good and she trust all of you too unnie”

“Soojung, how many did you got?” Yoona ask

“Around 7 like that. Here is the info” Krystal gives the paper to her friends

“Babe, do you think she will agree if we search through dating agency? You know, it’s about her reputation too” said Taeyeon after she read the info

“I not discuss with her yet but if she not agrees we have to come with plan B”

“Do you have plan B?” Sooyoung ask

“Not yet, you all can think about it too”

“Alright but the thing quite weird and tough that why we looked like rely on you but if she now agree with current idea, we will help you to make next plan” Sunny answer for all of them

“It tough for me too because we never do this kind of thing” they laughed lightly

“When you will discuss with her about that?”

“I will talk with her later. She still meeting now”

Yuri thinking for a while “If she agrees with this plan, we should make a move tomorrow because our schedule is not pack now. Everyone not really busy, right?” she looked at her friends

“Yeah, we’re free this time” they said

“Sooyoung and me will go to Daegu tomorrow for 2 days so we can’t join you guys” said Taeyeon

“It’s okay Taeng, you two can join us when you return” said Hyoyeon

Krystal looks at her watch “I have to go now. I think her meeting about to end”

“Okay” all of them dismiss

In Seulgi office, Krystal takes a sit on the chair across to her while holding a file

“How are you today?”

“I’m fine”

“Feel better than yesterday?”

“Yup”

“Good” Krystal smile happily “Here, I bring something that we plan for you. I need your opinion for this”

Krystal gives the file to Seulgi and she read the document “Dating agency list?”

“Yes, we want to find a girl for you through dating agency. Are you agreeing with this?”

Seulgi close the file “Do you have any other plan?”

“Not yet”

“I’m not saying I reject this idea but I not really agree. You know if we go to dating agency, they will ask the detail about the person and if they know that is me, it will turn into big news all around the country” Seulgi explain

Krystal understand what Seulgi mean behind her words “Okay, I will discuss with them again about the new plan”

“Okay” Seulgi nod her head “I feel bad to you guys. I have to involve you all in personal matter like this”

Krystal giggle “Don’t worry buddy, we’re fine with that. Besides, we’re used to help each other in getting a partner. I still remember how you, Yul unnie, Hyoyeon unnie and Sooyoung unnie set me up with Taeyeon 2 years ago. Then we work together to help Sooyoung unnie propose Sunny unnie during our vacation”

Both of them laugh as Krystal reminisce their funny yet beautiful moments “Now you all are happy together and I’m really satisfy”

“We hope that you will be happy too that why we work hard for it”

“I owe you all so much and I don’t know how to return it back”

“It’s okay, we do this sincerely”

“Yeah” Seulgi nods her head “Reserve a table at barbecue restaurant for a dinner tonight and tell them that I invite them for dinner”

“Okay boss” Krystal salute playfully

Seulgi and Taeyeon have casual talk at Taeyeon office and Taeyeon ask her about her recent issue

“How are things going now?” Taeyeon start her question

“Hmm, everyone still find a way now” Seulgi sigh

Taeyeon rubbed her forehead “Bear, recently when I go to Daegu to check the progress of our project there, I found a girl around Seohyun age. She’s working at convenience store as a cashier and I think shall we…”

Seulgi smart enough to catch Taeyeon meaning “You mean you want to match her with me?”

“Yup” Taeyeon give 2 thumbs up as Seulgi understand what she wants to say

“How is her feature?”

Taeyeon try to remember how the girl looks like “She has long hair, milky white skin, jet black hair. That’s all I remember but don’t worry, she’s not bad”

Seulgi rubbing her chin “Call Krystal to come” she command and Taeyeon do it immediately

Few minutes later, Krystal come and joins them

“Have a sit” Seulgi said

“Okay” Krystal sit beside Taeyeon

“Just now Taeyeon unnie told me that she found someone know have possibility to match with me so this weekend I want all of you to go to Daegu and investigate how she looked like and where she lives. If possible, find out some info about her too” Seulgi gives short briefing to the couple

Krystal jot down everything Seulgi just said “Okay, I will tell our friends”

“Good and you know what else you must investigate, right?”

“Yes boss”

“Good, everything you need will be on me. I will prepare vehicle, petrol fee, snacks and food expenses”

“Alright”

“Taeng unnie, remember to get the van from my house a day before you all go. I will ask my family driver to send it tomorrow to my house”

“Okay bear”

“So, I have to go now. Anything, we will talk again later” Seulgi said

“Okay”

“Babe, did you found that girl? Are you sure she is good for Seulgi?” Krystal asking Taeyeon after Seulgi leave

“When I first saw her, I kinda like her personality and she have good look too. I’m sure Seulgi will like her too. Don’t worry; you will know what I mean when we see her”

“Okay”

All of them arrive at the place where the girl working. The place is not pack with customer that time. Taeyeon stop their van not really far from the store entrance

“Guys, that is the place where that girl working” Taeyeon pointed at the convenience store

“Shall we go together or we go separately?” Hyoyeon ask

“I think we should go separately so that it’s not look weird if we go in altogether” said Sunny

“Sunny is right, who will go first?” Yuri looking at the members

“Soojung and I will go first. I want to check if she working now” said Taeyeon

“Okay” the others said and the couple leaves the van

As they enter the store, Taeyeon looking at the cashier immediately to find out whom duty that time then she follow Krystal to the fridge

“Honey, is that her?” Krystal whisper when she noticed Taeyeon stand behind her

“Yes, did you see her face already?”

“Not yet, I will see her later when I pay for this”

“Okay”

Krystal grabs few bottles of drink then they go to the counter

The cashier start scanning the stuff that Krystal buy and while she’s busy doing her work, Krystal looking at her face

“Here is your stuff ma’am” the girl smile sweetly

“Okay, thank” Krystal smile back to her then she make payment

“Thanks for coming” the girl said to them politely

Taeyeon and Krystal return to the van and everyone waiting for them excitedly “Hey, is she there?” Sooyoung ask

“Yes, she’s at the counter today” Taeyeon said while giving the drink to her friends

“Who will go now?” Yuri ask

“Me and Seohyun will go now” said Yoona

“I will go with you guys” said Hyoyeon

“Okay unnie, let’s go”

“Bring back some useful information” Taeyeon said jokingly as it was a mission for them

After few minutes, the three return back with lot of snacks “Aigooo, we have snack party today” Sunny said as she choosing snack inside the plastic bag

“She really pretty” Seohyun said excitedly

“Yeah, I guess we should choose her and I hope our bear also like her” Yoona added while shoving a chips into

“Any more info you all get?” Krystal ask

“I ask the sale assistant just now and she said they just work half day today so I think we can wait since it like 30 minutes until they go back” said Hyoyeon

“Wow, no wonder you take a bit longer at the back earlier” said Yoona

“Now our turn” said Yuri and she go out with Sunny and Sooyoung

They take quite long at the store and everyone jaw dropped when they say Sooyoung holding a bag full with food and Yuri holding one more bag behind her with annoying face. Sunny just walk freely in front of them

“Aigoo, are we opening the store after this unnie?” Krystal asked as soon as they get inside

“Half of this is Sooyoung’s” Sunny said

“This shikshin bullying me to hold the heavier bag” Yuri complain

Sooyoung just laugh at her “Sorry dude, I don’t mean to do that. It just part of our act”

“I forgive you because you pay for my foods” said Yuri then she pats Sooyoung head

Sunny take out her phone and searching something on gallery “Hey, I took her photo too and thankful that I got a good angle” she show the photo to her friends

“Wow, she has angelic face” they said

“Seulgi will choose her, trust me” Yuri said confidently

“Hopefully he will agree then we can start next move” said Seohyun

After waiting around 15 minutes, the staffs at convenience store start closing the store

“Hey, I guess they go back now” said Sunny

“Yeah, we should follow her to her house” Krystal say

The girl that they aim climb up her motorbike then put on her helmet

“Wow, she rides a motorbike” they guy amaze

“She’s cool” said Yuri

“Don’t try her Yul, she belong to our bear” Sooyoung said innocently

Yuri slaps Sooyoung head “Yah, I not saying it that way. I said she’s cool because she ride motorbike. She can join me and Hyo rider team if she interested”

“Sorry dude” Sooyoung rubbed her poor head

“We will follow her slowly” Taeyeon start driving and make sure they are following her in safe distance

The girl arrived at her house around 10 minutes from her workplace. Another girl opens the gate for her and they greet each othis happily

“Are they sister?” Yoona wondering

“I don’t think they are sibling because they not resemble each other. Maybe just a housemate or something” said Krystal

“You’re right” Sunny said

“Babe, make sure you write down her address” said Taeyeon

“Okay” Krystal said and writes the girl address on her notebook

After the girl go inside her house, they leave the place

Everyone gather at Seulgi house to share the information that they got from the investigation. Seulgi satisfies with what her friends told her and she really appreciated their effort. Sunny also show the girl picture to her

“Thanks for all of this unnie. I’m really appreciate it” Seulgi said

“No worry bear, it just small matter” Yuri pats Seulgi shoulder

“You all do a lot for me, you know. Spending your weekend going somewhere to find the girl and have to go that far just to find information”

They laughed lightly “Don’t worry, we’re fine with it. We used to have busy weekend than this so this one is small matter. What important is you’re happy” said Sunny

“Unnie is right. It’s not like we will do this forever, right unnie?” Krystal said

“Yes!”

“Okay, as my gratitude I will sponsor your summer vacation this year. I insist” Seulgi state seriously and they know no one can against her decision

“Thanks Kang Seulgi!” they engulf her to group hug

“Yahh, not my full name or I will change my mind” Seulgi whine while catching her breath due to tight hug

“Yahhh KangSeul” they groaned

Seulgi laughing at her friends “Unnie, I’m just joking, let’s continue with our topic”

“Do you agree with our choice this time?” Taeyeon asking in seriousness

“Yeah, I agree and will give it a try”

Hyoyeon asking after that “What if she reject?”

“If she reject, we can’t do anything but at least try to convince her that we don’t have any bad intention. It just like how we deal with clients and we try to make them trust us. If still hopeless then we can surrender” said Seulgi

“Are you going with us this time bear?” Yoona ask

“Not yet, this time I want Soojung, Yoong unnie, Seohyun unnie and Sunny unnie to go”

Taeyeon added after that “You all are great at negotiation so you all are good choice”

“Okay”

Then Sooyoung share her thought “Okay, here is another situation where she accepts you because she knows you are a businesswoman. I mean she agree to date you because you’re rich. How we make sure that she is not that type of girl?”

Everyone a bit shock by Sooyoung question just now because they not thinking about it “Do you think she know me?” Seulgi ask innocently

“Aigooo Seulgi Kang, I guess cats and dogs also know how famous you are. Not to mention a human” Seohyun shook her head

“What we should do?” Seulgi pout

“We will introduce you as Kang Seulgi instead of your famous name”

“Good idea” Seulgi agrees “So we have the plan now, when you all will go?”

“I think next weekend is better” Krystal said

“Okay, I count on you all” Seulgi smile widely

“Don’t worry bear; if she doesn’t want they have other substitute. We saw other girl with her yesterday and look good too” Yuri joking

“Yahhh, look at this unnie!” Seulgi laughed

“I just kidding buddy” Yuri said

“It’s okay unnie”

“We will do our best” said Sunny

“Thanks a lot unnie” Seulgi giggle “Let order some food, I haven’t have my lunch yet” she rubbed her tummy

“I love this idea” Said Sooyoung and Yoona support her happily

“Soojung, order foods for us”

Seulgi goes to her room to get her wallet while her friends argue for the food that they want to order

Krystal, Sunny, Yoona and Seohyun go to Daegu again to meet the girl

“Aigooo, I’m nervous” Seohyun giggle

“Me too, it’s like I’m propose a girl for my son” Krystal laughed

Yoona sigh “Hmm, I nervous waiting for her answer. It sad if she rejects Seulgi because I saw she is happy after we told her about this girl and show her picture to her”

“May God ease everything for us” Sunny said calmly

“We arrive” Krystal stops her car in front of the girl house

“Oh, she’s at home. That is her motorbike” Yoona pointed at the motorbike that parked at the porch

“I guess she’s not working today” said Seohyun

Everyone take deep breath “Let go” Sunny said and they get out of the car

Seohyun press the doorbell, later a girl come out of the house but that is not the one that they looking for

“Hello” they said from outside

“Hello” the girl answered hesitantly

“Are you the house owner?” Sunny ask politely

“No, this is our rent house”

“Okay” Sunny take out her phone and show it to the girl “Is this person live here?”

“Yes, she’s inside”

“We want to meet with her” said Krystal

“Why?”

“We have something to talk to her”

“Okay” the girl opens the door for them and invites them in

“Have a sit first”

They sit on the couch “The house is not bad for a rent house” Sunny whisper

“I guess we shouldn’t showing straight face like earlier. They will think we’re bad person. You see she looked hesitant to open the gate for us” Yoona said

“This is Soojung fault for not smiling” Sunny nudging Krystal

“My bad” Krystal giggle at her own carelessness

Few minutes later, the girl return back with the person that they want to meet and 2 other girls behind them who looking at them curiously

“Hi” Krystal smile to them

“Hi” they smile back “What can we do for you?” one of them ask

“Let me introduce myself, I am Krystal Jung. You can call me Soojung” Krystal bowed her head

“I’m Sunny” Sunny smile and waving her hand

“I’m Yoona” Yoona also smile

“And I am Seohyun”

“We’re from Seoul and we come to meet one of you” Krystal explain

“Okay, since you all introduced yourself so we should do too. I am Wendy Son” she said

“I’m Irene Bae Joohyun” Irene smile and she thought she used to saw them somewhere but she don’t remember the place

“I’m Kim Yerim the one who open the gate just now” Yerim said

“I am Park Sooyoung or Joy” she said with big smile

“Nice to meet you all” Sunny said and they shake hand

“You all come from quite far so I assume that the matter is really serious” Wendy said

“Yeah and we come here to meet with Irene” Yoona answer

The girls looking at each other and Irene shrugged her shoulder

“Don’t worry, we not come here with bad intention” Seohyun control the situation calmly

The girls relief “So, why you all want to meet with me?”

Sunny nudging Krystal signal her to talk for them while Krystal smile nervously “We came here for a very important purpose” she don’t know how to start

“Purpose?” Irene furrowed her eyebrows

Krystal takes deep breath to calm down “Let me straight to the point, we come to propose you for our friend”

“What?!” Irene and her friends scream and eyes turn really wide

“Propose as in propose for a marriage?” Joy ask for confirmation

“No, not yet” Sunny said “We propose for a girlfriend”

“This is not a joke, right? Not a shoot for variety show” Irene said

“No, we’re really serious. We come to ask you if you agree to date her. She’s not rushing; you can go stage by stage first” Seohyun explain

“Aigooo, I still can’t believe this. Why me? No other girls at Seoul who want to do this?” Irene getting more and more puzzled

Krystal and the girls looked at each other sort of giving strength to themselves “We investigate a lot about you so you match with her” said Yoona

“Why she not come personally?”

“She’s working today” Krystal lied

“Hardworking girl” Yerim said out of the blue that make their guest almost burst out laugh when the fact is Seulgi might be sleep at her house or going out with Taeyeon

“What is your decision Irene? Do you agree?” Krystal nervously ask

“How can I agree when I don’t even know her?” Irene said coldly that send chill down their spine

“Aigooo” Krystal sigh and looking at Sunny “Unnie, her picture”

“Omo, I forgot” Sunny search for Seulgi picture “Here” she gives her phone to Irene

“Not bad” Joy and Yeri said while Irene not saying anything

“What she do for living?” Wendy ask suddenly

Krystal and the others startled because they not thinking about the answer “She work with us as an accountant” Seohyun calmly said and she don’t know where she got the answer

“What is her name?” Irene ask

“Kang Seulgi”

Irene nods her head “I can’t give you the answer now. Give me time to think”

“Okay, just call me anytime if you done thinking but don’t take too long” Krystal said

“Okay”

Krystal pulled out her card from her purse “Here is my card so if you have your decision, you can contact me anytime and we expect good news from you”

“Okay, I will give you a call if I accept or reject him” Irene stated

“Okay”

“That’s all we want to talk about and if you have anything to ask about her you can contact Soojung. She will tell you whatever you want to know about Seulgi” said Yoona

“Alright”

“We have to go now. See you all again” Sunny said

“Alright” the girls walk their guest to the gate

“Luxury car” Joy said in awe

“I think that was Krystal car because from what written on her card, she is a secretary for Vice Chairman of SK International” Irene said as they watching the car leave

“She must get really high paid” Wendy added

“Let go inside”

In the car, everyone relieve as they do their task successfully even they not get the answer yet

“Yah Seohyun unnie, how did you manage to say that Seulgi is accountant?” Krystal remember that Seohyun lie about Seulgi carrier

They laughed again “I don’t know how I can come with that answer. I also shocked myself”

“Luckily you save us. We not even thinking about it earlier” Sunny say

“They almost put us into danger” said Krystal

“Soojung, let stop somewhere. I’m hungry” Yoona whine

“Me too unnie” Krystal said while searching for good place to eat

Irene and her friend have dinner together at home

“Unnie, have you thought about the proposal?” Yerim ask

“Yeah and I still think about it”

“Will you give it a try?” Wendy joins the conversation

“I don’t know and I worry if they deceive us”

“I don’t think they are lying because I saw all of them are good person. Besides, who want to harm you? You don’t have any enemy” said
