Irene and her colleague alias her best friends, Kim Jennie and Roseanne Park, are having a discussion in her office. Jennie and Roseanne noticed that Irene looked unhealthy for the last two days. She also rarely talks with them. Whenever they have casual talk, Irene only speak when she was asked

“Unnie?” Roseanne speak when she saw Irene face pale and the older woman massaging her forehead every now and then

“Yes Chaeng?”

“If you are not feeling well, you can rest. We can postpone our discussion”

“Rose is right, unnie. I noticed that you looked pale. I’m worry, unnie”

“But unnie…yah Irene unnie!” Jennie suddenly screamed when Irene collapsed on the couch. Jennie and Roseanne quickly run to check her

“Omo, she’s fainted!” said Rose

“Go call Doyoung. We bring unnie to hospital”

Without wasting time, Rose run out of the office and few minutes later she come back follow by a male staff named Kim Doyoung

“Doyoung, please help us carry Irene unnie. We bring her to hospital”

“Okay noona” Doyoung carefully lift up Irene and they go to the car

Jennie immediately calls Seulgi to inform her that they are rushing Irene to hospital. 20 minutes later, they arrived at the hospital and Irene was immediately taken to the emergency unit. A short hair doctor with name tag, Wendy Son, approaching Jennie, Roseanne and Doyoung

“Unnie, how is Irene unnie?” Jennie asked worriedly

“Unnie collapsed due to fatigue and stress. Her blood pressure is also high. She will admit for few days until her condition back to normal” said Wendy

“Irene noona unusually silent lately. I noticed that she’s not active like usual during discussion” said Doyoung

“Maybe unnie have something in her mind that make her stress” Jennie said

“Boo, can we visit her?” Roseanne asked her wife. She and Wendy are married and having two adorable kids at home

“Yes boo, Seulgi will transfer unnie to the VIP room after this. You guys can wait here”

“Okay”

“Are you busy, boo?”

Wendy checking her watch “Yes, I have appointment with my patient 15 minutes from now so I can’t accompany you”

“It’s okay. Don’t forget your lunch”

“Alright, got to go now. See you at home” Wendy give quick peck on her wife chubby cheek “Love you”

Jennie and Doyoung are watching the married couple interact lazily. Their existence totally forgotten

“I hope you two not forget the fact that Doyoung and I are still here” Jennie said sarcastically

Rose and Wendy laugh seeing Jennie’s annoying face “Shall I call Specialist Kim Jisoo so she can give you a kiss?”

“No need, we’re too old for such stuff. I just feel sorry for Doyoung. He don’t have partner here”

“You’re still single, Doyoung-ssi? I can introduce you to female doctor or nurses” Wendy teasing Doyoung

“I have girlfriend already, noona but if the offer worth it, I can consider” Doyoung grinning innocently

“Don’t play dirty like a boy do, Kim Doyoung. Do you want me to tell your girlfriend?” Jennie elbowed Doyoung side

Seulgi lazes on the couch in the VIP room accompanying her sleeping wife. Jennie, Roseanne and Doyoung already left one hour ago. She heaves a heavy sigh every now and then. “She passed out due to fatigue and stress. Her blood pressure is also high. She need to admit for a day or two because doctor need to monitor her condition”

“Appa, I think mommy is overstress because of the issue lately” Yerim stated

“I think so. Yerm, I decided to tell the truth to Jimin. She needs to know even though it will hurt her at the end of the day. If we keep beating behind the bush, we’ll never see the ending. Reveal the truth is the only way to settle this problem” say Seulgi

“I agree with you, appa. We have no choice”

“Tonight you sleep here with your mom. I’ll bring Jimin home so we can talk”

“No problem, appa”

“I’ll accompany you tonight” say Joy

“Are you sure? I’m fine alone here with mommy. You can’t sleep comfortably on the couch”

Joy rolled her eyes “It not a problem to me”

“Yerim, it is a convertible couch. You can convert it to bed when you want to sleep” say Seulgi

“Oh really” Yerim scratching her head

Karina rushed to the hospital after she received a call from her appa telling that her mom is admitted at the hospital. She skipped the last class for today because she’s worried about her mother. She speed up her car so that she can reach the hospital quickly

“Appa, unnie” Karina open the VIP room’s door and see her dad, Joy and Yerim sit on the couch while her mom on the bed sleeping

“Baby, come here” Seulgi pat the vacant spot beside her

“Appa, what happened to mommy? Why did she rush to the hospital? She looked fine this morning”

“Mommy's just tired. She need proper rest for few days then she will be fine again” Seulgi kissed Karina head

Karina hugged Seulgi’s torso and snuggled to her neck. Among her and Yerim, Karina is the clingiest to their father. Yerim is fine with that. Both of them loved equally by their parent so she don’t need to worry about unfair treatment

That night, Seulgi and Karina sleep at home while Yerim and Joy stay in hospital to accompany Irene. After both of them have dinner, Seulgi will do her mission. She made up her mind. This is the only way out for their family problem. She took a folder from the drawer and go to the balcony since her daughter is chilling at the couch in balcony

“Yes appa, do you need anything?” Karina asking her dad

“Em, can I sit?”

“Of course”

“During her mental treatment, I helped your mom a lot to overcome her trauma. It makes both of us get closer. Since I already have Yerim, I lend my hand to do dad duty. I can see your mom change day by day. She is getting better. She stopped consuming sleeping pills after a year but still has anxiety disorder. It stayed until now. She still takes antidepressants when necessary. That is the reason I always prioritize her when she is upset. I am not taking her side if she’s wrong but I worry about her anxiety disorder and mental health. I don’t want her to harm herself. I don’t want her to remember her trauma. Later, she and Yerim also get close. Yerim is one of the reasons that brings big changes to your mom. She’s happy having Yerim. At the end of the day, both of us decide to be together. Karina sighs “It must be hard for mommy to go through her miserable life”
