Some minutes passed and Jessica kept in staring at them, one by one as if killing them slowly,  waiting for an answer that she knew they couldn’t give her, focusing once again in the smaller girl.

“Try guessing, you took all the trouble to make me come here after all, so at least entertain me for a little more.” Her smirk was still there. “You should hurry; you only have a couple of hours before the sun hides.”

Sunny was terrified, how could everything turn out this way? She needed to distract Jessica so that she’ll tell them what the hell she was.

“If you aren’t a vampire…then, are you a werewolf?” Jessica laughed and they felt a chill down their spine.

“I just told you that I’m something more ancient than that, and you give that answer?” She shook her head while putting her elbows on her laps and resting her jaw in her hands, if none of this had happened they would find her cute, but now all they could think of was to get out of there alive. “You disappoint me Sunny. Do you give up then? Should I tell you what I am?” She tilted her head just a bit while Sunny hesitated to answer. “You are asking yourself how did things turn out like this, but let me tell you where you went wrong.” Jessica stood up and began walking through the darker side of the room with four girls watching her every move.

“You focused on something so common like vampires. I don’t want to think you dare to mix me with the likes of that pity thing of a movie. You basically did the most cliché thing by assuming I was something along those lines, did you think this was like all those Twilight movies?” She stopped while leaning her shoulder on the board.

“But all of those things matched, you are more than beautiful, there's your coldness and your weakness for blood and sunlight!” Said Sunny forgetting completely her fear, gaining another smirk from Jessica.

“And I did say that the only thing wrong was your answer.” Her eyes then lingered on Tiffany for a while before returning to Sunny. “I think you forgot that there are more creatures with those traits, you just closed your walls a little bit too much.”

Sunny gulped loudly making the latter chuckle, she couldn’t deny that she was horrified. “What are you Jessica?”

From that time on, she was the key to let the mother and daughter meet again and because of that she gained a place in the underworld, so that she wouldn't have to live in a cave anymore. It was hard to do witchcraft during the day, that's why she chose to live in a dark place. There's also the fact that she was weak in the day, which is why we can’t stand the sunlight; we don’t die immediately but we will if we are exposed too long, because we were created in darkness…”
