Four Season's Hotel

Milan, Italy

My hands tremble while gripping the warm mug on my lap. It’s been hours but still, we still don’t have any news where Amber might be.

A couple of hours ago, my knees turned weak when Hojoon oppa told me about what is happening in Washington. If my staff were not beside me, I could have been lying on the pavement staring at nothingness. He knew about Amber flying in Washington, I told him about it the day we left Seoul.  

They immediately brought me inside the van and I don’t know what happened next. It was blurry. All I had in mind at that time was what could have happened to Amber. Thinking about her safety. Praying she’s fine and out of the vicinity where the attack happened.

Thinking if she got hurt, what will I do?

Should I fly out of Milan now and go to Washington to look for her?

Who do I call?

How do I tell her parents about it?

I don’t know where to find her!

I tried calling her phone a lot of times but there was no answer. I even sent messages to her asking if she’s safe and calls me ASAP if she reads it. Then I remembered she said she placed her phone on Silent Mode. My heart fell once more.

I didn’t even know I was crying until I felt wetness on my cheeks.
