“I really don’t think we needed this many agents.” Yunho blatantly said as they finally made it to their destination: the Midnight Circus wing.

Shindong just shrugged. “Better safe than sorry I guess.”

“Hyung! What have you been doing? Did you become a singer already like you always wanted??” Minwoo asked as he looked up to his hyung.

Leeteuk looked to the boy next to him a little bit confused but answered anyways. “Neh… I have, Min-ah. You remembered.” He smiled back at the younger boy. He couldn’t believe it, but he was warming up to him already in the short span the boy attacked him with a hug.

“Of course I remembered, hyung!”

“Minwoo’s parents heavily abused him and his older brother before when he was a lot younger. His older brother was able to get both of them out before his parents killed them, but in the process, Minwoo was terribly traumatized from all of the events that happened that he had to be placed in a mental hospital. At the time, this was the only place accepting new patients because it was brand new. His brother never knew which facility he went into either, but I remembered the nurse at the hospital telling me that he knew his brother would be in good hands until he returned. Since then, he’s been trying to become a singer, I suppose. I have to say, I guess you really do look a lot like him. That’s why he’s excited to be with you.” Zhou-mi said as he remembered the younger boy’s history.

Tiffany faked sniffled as she was about to go and hug the young boy until they all heard an ear-piercing scream echo throughout the current hallway they were in. The whole group knew it wasn’t from a room that they just passed by since Krystal, Sulli, Yunho, and Shindong were looking through all the previous windows to see if Sora was in there.

Leeteuk’s head instantly looked up at the scream, automatically knowing whose it was. “It’s Sora!” He panicked as he looked to his friends with him. His friends started to run through the hallways, quickly looking into each of the rooms to see where the woman was located. He was about to follow when he felt a tug on his hand. He looked down to see Minwoo’s curious gaze.

“Who is screaming, hyung? Is that girl important to you?”

Leeteuk sighed, “It’s my friend, Min-ah. I need to go save her before something bad happens to her.” He tried to pull the boy along as he started walking faster to follow everyone else.

“Oh, then let’s hurry! I don’t want hyung feeling hurt anymore!” Minwoo said as he ran with Leeteuk to follow the rest of the team. They ran for a minute or so following after the others and looking into various rooms until they heard another weaker scream from Sora.

“I found her!” Krystal yelled out as she looked through one of the windows. She gasped once she actually took in the girl’s features. She quickly turned around and tried to search for one person. “Alexander-sshi! Over here!”

Alexander turned around at his name and quickly got his keys out and ran over to the other girl. He looked into the room and mimicked the girl’s action. “Are one of you a medic?” He gasped out as he turned around realizing whose room they were standing in front of. “Who’s the one who can handle dangerous people?”

“Me.” Zhou-mi spoke up. “I’m a medic.”

“I can handle the tough guys.” Yunho spoke up as well. They both walked over to Alexander. Krystal stepped back so they could see what was going on. She noticed Leeteuk walking towards them; anxious to see the girl he fell in love with to see what’s happened to her.

“Oppa! Don’t come near here yet!” Krystal tried warning. “…Not with Minwoo-ah!” She yelled desperately.

Behind the door, the patient was hovering above Kang Sora who had a bruise on her left cheek. Zhou-mi could clearly see bruises forming on her arms as she tried to protect herself. Her hair and clothes were disheveled as if the man was trying to her. She was crouched into a ball in the farthest corner of the room.

“Damn it…” Alexander cussed as he slowly unlocked the door. The patient heard the sudden noise and turned to see who it was. His face instantly calmed as he saw whom it was and walked to the door. “This patient has multiple-personality disorder and a severe panic disorder…” He quietly said as he opened the door slightly. He quickly glanced out of the corner of his eye as he saw Shindong, Tiffany, and Krystal trying to hold Leeteuk back. He saw Sulli right behind him and Yunho and Zhou-mi next to him. Jonghyun was behind him as well, trying to prevent the eldest among them from looking into the door.

“Alexander-sshi! It’s nice to see you again! How are you?” The patient happily asked the staff worker as soon as the latter took one step into the former’s room.

“I’m good! How about yourself, Jae-min-sshi?” The other looked up and responded as he put on a fake smile. “Oh! I see you have a guest?” He calmly questioned as he looked to see the girl crying in the corner of the room. He definitely didn’t want to egg the patient on.

“Oh, yeah! I do! Come in! Oh, I see you brought friends this time!” The patient said excitedly as he let the people closest to Alexander in. “Make yourselves at home!” He politely said as he gestured around his room. When Alexander made a move to close the door behind him, he pointedly looked at the remaining members outside of the room to not do anything rash.

“Alexander!” Leeteuk yelled just as the door closed. He felt a familiar tug on his hand.

“Hyung, they’ll be okay, I promise.” Minwoo looked up at him as the other three people kept trying to keep him aw
