Paradox: The Unbelievable Truth“My son has been kidnapped.”
Experienced eyes looked into the eyes of a middle-aged man. He laced his fingers together, elbows resting on the table in front of him, and placed his chin on top of it. “Why should we take your case?”
The elder man looked into the other’s younger eyes. “I’m the CEO of one of the top coffee companies in South Korea. Another company wants to take over my business. If they kidnap and kill my young son, I will have no heir to take over my company.”
“You don’t have another son?” The other questioned.
“I only have another daughter. I have the money right here.” The businessman placed the money on the table.
In a separate room, a masculine figure in a suit turned to look at their boss. He said two words: “Trouble Maker.” The woman sitting behind her desk in the same manner as the man talking to their client looked back at him. “Leeteuk.” She laced her fingers and put her chin on top of it. She decided.
“Take it.”
On cue, the younger man in the other room nodded. “We will take your case.” The elder man felt relief wash over him. He heard they were the best.
