Eun Mi got out of Gi Kwang's car and started walking to the stairs of the school.

*Strange,* Eun Mi thought and looked around, *seems a little bit too quiet.* she wasn't used to not being pesterized by Woo Hyun first thing in the morning. She opened her locker and got her books.

"Did you hear? A new student is coming."

"Jeongmal?"

"Yeah, I heard he's an ulzzang."

"Ohmygosh!"

A group of girls passed Eun Mi and she couldn't help but over hear their conversation.

*New kid? Ulzzang?* She slammed her locker shut, *Maybe Min already knows who the guy is.* she started walking to her Literature class.

The moment she walked in the classroom her eyes landed on Woo Hyun's desk, it was empty.

*He's late?* Eun Mi blinked.

"Eun Mi!" Min waved and hollered at her.

Eun Mi blinked back to reality and smiled at her before walking to her seat.

"Did you hear?!" Min started.

Eun Mi smiled, "The new kid? Yeah."
"He's Nam Woo Hyun's cousin." Min whispered.

Eun Mi's eyes widened, "Cousin?!"

"Yeah. That's why he's not here yet. He's going to pass by the airport for his cousin before coming to school."

"Airport," Eun Mi nodded then her eyes widened, "how'd you know all this stuff?!"

Min weakly smiled, "Gossip?"
She shook her head, amused.

Not too soon the teacher, Mrs. Jang, entered the room and started the lesson. In the middle of her discussion someone knocked on the door, making Mrs. Jang stop and look at the door. The door swung open and Woo Hyun alked in, followed by a tall guy with tan skin and sharp features. The girls squealed at his intense stare and guys whispered among themselves.

"He's here!" Min pinched your shoulder.

"Ow!' Eun Mi whispered and looked up to meet eyes with Woo Hyun's cousin, *No way, he's Woo Hyun's cousin? My childhood friend is the cousin of that pathetic excuse of a man?!*

"Annyeonghaseyo." Woo Hyun bowed at Mrs. Jang, "I'm late because I had to pass by for my cousin from the airport."

"He's the new student?" Ms. Jang asked.

Woo Hyun nodded and looked at his classmates, "This is my cousin L, he just flew in from Japan. Please treat him nicely."

L bowed.

"You may take you seats."

L and Woo Hyun walked to their seats.

"He's so quiet."

"I like his aura."

"He looks hot."

"He freaks me out."

Their classmates whispered.

*He's still the same.* She smiled and watched him, *I wonder if he still remembers me.*

L met eyes with Ehn Mi before taking his seat and looked away, *She looks way too familiar.*

Mrs. Jang continued with her lecture and Eun Mi went back to doodling away on the back of her notebook. Woo Hyun looked at her and his heart skipped a beat. He remembered her painful words to him. Eun Mi looked up and met eyes with him. She was expecting him to say something but to her dismay he looked away with a sad face. Her stomach turned and a wave of guilt ran down her spine. She looked away and for some reason her heart ached, *Is he really that affected with me hating him?* Eun Mi stopped doodling and stared at her pen, *I really did hurt him, huh?*

For the next hour Eun Mi couldn't help but feel guilty. She suddenly had the need to apologize to him, but she didn't know how. Class ended and Woo Hyun left without looking at Eun Mi or talking to her. Her heart saddened and filled with guilt. 

At lunch Eun Mi and Min were eating. 

Min noticed her silence and it was driving her nuts, "Ya, why aren't you speaking?!"

Eun Mi looked at her, "What?"
"You and Woo Hyun didn't say a word to one another during class," Min said, "are you two fighting?"
Eun Mi sighed, "I don't know, I shouldn't even care that he's not talking to me but..."

"What did you do?" 

"I told him I hated him."
Min was drinking water at that time and almost spat is it all out, " YOU SAID WHAT?!" 

"I know." Eun Mi groaned and covered her face with her hands.

Min wiped , "You don't hate him that much, right?"

You simply sighed, "I didn't expect him to be this affected."

Then there was silence.

"Go apologize to him." Min broke the silence.

You looked at her, "How?"

"Buy him coffee or something." Min shrugged.

"Aish..."

FREE PERIOD

"Why are you so sad, hyung?" Myung Soo asked as they walked to the library.

"Huh? Sad, me?" Woo Hyun pointed to himself.

"Nevermind," Myung Soo shook his head, "don't tell me, fine. That's what cousins are for anyway." Myung Soo said making Woo Hyun feel guilty.

Woo Hyun bit his lower lip, "Fine, I'll tell you." Woo Hyun told him everything but the name.

"Aw," Myung Soo patted his shoulders, "is this the girl you sat beside during Lit?" Myung Soo sneakily asked.

"Yeah," Woo Hyun absent-mindedly answered, then his eyes widened after realizing the stupidity he did, "I mean no! Aish!"

Myung Soo snickered, "I knew it, she looks familiar..."

"Of course you've seen her before," Woo Hyun sighed, "she's Lee Eun Mi."

*My childhood friend, Lee Eun Mi?!* Myung Soo's jaw dropped, "Lee Eun Mi?! THE Lee Eun Mi?!"

"Oh yeah." Woo Hyun stopped dead at the door as he saw Eun Mi sitting on a table reading her handouts.

"What's wrong?" Myung Soo followed his stare and saw her, "Oh. I have question before you go."
"Bwo?"
"Of all the haters you have," Myung Soo started, "why are you most affected by just this one girl?"
Woo Hyun's eyes widened and his heart started pounding hard, "I-I..." *Yeah Woo Hyun, why are you affected by just this one girl?*

Myung Soo saw the look of confusion on his cousin's face, "Nevermind. I can clearly see you have no answer for that simple question..." He gave Woo Hyun a weak push through the library doors, "see you later."

*Why Nam Woo Hyun, why?* He asked himself over and over as he took his time to walk to the table.

"It's Nam Woo Hyun!"

"He's studying?!"

"Ohmygah he look's so handsome!!"

Girls squealed.

Eun MI's heart quickened as she saw Woo Hyun shoes approaching the table. Woo Hyun placed his stuff on the table, sat on the chair and looked at Eun Mi, *Can you possibly-no. Andwae. It's too early to say that I have feelings for her...*

Eun Mi passed him a note without looking up from her handouts, "Go look for this book at the History section."

Woo Hyun looked at the note and did as told. He walked to the History side of the library and looked for the book. He found the book at the corner and pulled it out. He lifted the cover, revealing a pink post it inside with a message: 

LOOK UP

Woo Hyun looked up at the shelf just in front of his face and saw the same colored post it with the same hand-writing:

PULL THESE OUT

Woo Hyun gently pulled the books under the arrows out and placed them on the floor. His eyes widened when he saw a brown paper bag that was hidden behind the books he just pulled out. He pulled out the paper bag and reached for whatever was inside. He brought it out of the paper bag and his eyes sparked in joy at what he saw. It was a mini cheescake that had the words "I'm Sorry :(."

Woo Hyun put the cheesecake back in the bag and ran back to the table, *Lee Eun Mi, today, I might know the reason why of all the haters I have, I'm most affected by you.*
