Fatal Love, Pretty Foolish Love, Puppy Love"You two, still aren't talking?" Seulgi asked Wheein because the last time she talked to both Wheein and Byul they still weren't in good terms.
"I can't." Wheein simply answered.
"You can't? Or you won't?" Seulgi questioned. Byul has been bugging Seulgi to help her with Wheein since the reunion, so obviously Wheein's the one who doesn't want to talk.
"Seulgi-ssi, its 9am, please don't start." The shorter girl said, trying to avoid the topic. Byul is all she could think about at home, she was hopeful she could get her mind off her in school and actually focus on her studies. But obviously, Seulgi just won't let her be.
"I'm not starting anything; in fact, I'm trying to end this nonsense." Seulgi said matter-of-factly. How can they fix anything if Wheein isn't willing to talk? She thought to herself.
Wheein stopped her tracks. "Nonsense?" she asked, a little agitated.
"You're running from the very person you are chasing, Wheein-ah." Seulgi stated. "How is that sensible?"
"Because the person you want isn't always the person you need, Seul." She answered.
I sighed. "So you're saying you don't really need, Byul?" Seulgi asks to clarify.
"No." Wheein answered immediately. She clenches her jaw; she really didn't want to elaborate, but judging by the way Seulgi was looking at her, she would have to. "I'm saying that maybe I'm not the person she really needs."
Seulgi was taken aback at Wheein's answer. She just assumed that Wheein is still mad at Byul because of the kiss but it looks like there's more to it than just that.
Seulgi had the urge to hug her because of how broken her voice sounded, but she thought better to reassure her friend. "Byul obviously needs you t-" Seulgi was just about to argue with her but she cut her off.
"Seul, the day is just starting but I'm already emotionally tired from all this talking, can we just go to class?" she said wearily.
Seulgi complied because Wheein really did sound exhausted. She figured it probably wouldn't do any good if she force her further on a topic she obviously doesn't want to discuss.
Byul's POV:
"I'm getting hungry, where do you want to eat?" Hyejin asked me directly, completely ignoring the usual banter going on between Minhyuk, Sowon and Seulgi.
"McDonalds?" I heard a familiar voice answer right before I could answer.
"Joohyun!" Minhyuk exclaimed. "Yongsun! You're both here!" he continued, causing Hyejin to turn around.
"To what do we owe this pleasure?" Sowon asked, too excited at the sight of us being complete; its been a while since the last time we gathered here in campus.
I would've known their answer if I wasn't too concerned to a certain blonde who haven't said a word since I saw her this morning -correction: a certain blonde who haven't said a word to me at all.
I saw her looking intently at Yongsun, before speaking, "Uhm." She cleared . "I almost forgot, I have to accompany a friend this lunch break." She said, but I don't think anyone among us believed her; she's obviously just making an excuse.
"It's not Friday today, Wheein." I couldn't help but say, causing everyone in the group to look at me. They all know I'm referring to Taehyung. "Who could you possibly be seeing?" She can't ignore me forever.
"I don't think that's any of your business, Byul-unnie." She answered with the same sharpness as my question. I didn't fail to notice her use
