"What do you think happened?" Hyejin asked Seulgi.

"You wouldn't need to ask me that, if you didn't decide to drag me in your house." Seulgi frowned. She wanted to spy on Yongsun and Byul but Hyejin insisted to give them some privacy.

"If it was you and Irene-unnie, you wouldn't want us to spy on you either, would you?" Hyejin reasoned with a smug smile, just because she knew she would win this argument.

"Whatever." Seulgi said dismissively, rolling her eyes, not wanting to give Hyejin the satisfaction even though the other girl  was clearly already satisfied.

A moment of comfortable silence passes before Hyejin asked, "Do you think there's a chance for the two of them?" 

"Why would you ask? Byul is already with Wheein." Seulgi asked with furrowed brows.

"I don't know." Hyejin answered truthfully. "Don't get me wrong!" Hyejin said defensively. "I know Wheein loves Byul-ssi and all that, but Yong-unnie though, I feel sorry for her sometimes." She said with sympathy, looking down. "She just looks the happiest when she's with Byul-unnie." Hyejin comments.

"You are too." Seulgi remarks, making Hyejin snap her head up at her.

"What?" Hyejin asked as her mind was already reeling; searching for excuses to deny what she thinks Seulgi is implying.

But Hyejin looked like she was caught red-handed, that Seulgi just smile reassuringly; as if saying that there was no judgement if ever that's really the case. "Nothing." she said, contemplating if she'd let Hyejin know what she knows. She sat beside Hyejin. "You know, you almost fooled me."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Hyejin replied, although she knew very well what her friend meant.

"Hyejin-ah, contrary to your belief; you are not a good liar." Seulgi smirked placing her hand on Hyejin's knee.

"Yes, I am!" The younger girl argued. "You guys just know me too much." She mumbled.

"So you do like Byul!" Seulgi said excitedly, being proud at herself for being the first one to know; assuming that Hyejin hasn't told any of their friends yet.

Hyejin opened to deny it, but closed it back as she smiled shyly; knowing that its no use to deny something so obvious. "It's too complicated to add myself in the equation." She stated.

Seulgi's smug smile turned into a sympathetic one. "I'm right here, Hyejin, don't worry. You can have a crush on me instead." she jests, earning a playful slap in the arm from Hyejin.

"When will I ever have a decent conversation with you?" Hyejin sighed.

"What? There are not enough people who love me. And it's not like Byul's better looking than I am." Seulgi said confidently. "No offense."

Hyejin just rolled her eyes. "Yeah, tell that to your girlfriend."

"Come on, you know you want me. We'd be a cute couple." Seulgi teased.

Hyejin scoffed. "Please, I'm gonna barf if you don't stop."

Seulgi didn't know if she should laugh or be offended at Hyejin's reaction.

Then it dawned her that Hyejin's not supposed to know that she has a girlfriend.

"Wait!" Seulgi grabbed Hyejin's arm at her realization. "How'd you know?"

Hyejin furrowed her brows, trying to understand what Seulgi meant, then a smile spread across her face. "I didn't." It was Hyejin's turn to smirk.

Seulgi had a baffled expression on her face.

"But I'm sure now. Thanks to you." Hyejin smiled confidently.

Seulgi knows Irene told her to keep it just between the two of them, but she's too proud to deny it. "Just...don't tell anyone else yet, okay?"

Hyejin scoffed. "As if. Obviously, you've agreed to keep it a secret since you haven't said it to the whole world yet." The girl said nonchalantly. "Judging by how whipped you are, I'm pretty sure you would've done that already."

"Yeah." Seulgi smiled. "Irene's not ready for the whole world to know yet so..." she trailed off.

"So the two of you are doing great?" Hyejin asked seriously.

Seulgi looked at her and smiled. "We're fine. Her mom told her that she'll support us, at least she'll try, I think."

Hyejin smiled. "You know, even though you can be really annoying sometimes; I always admired you for not giving up on Irene-ssi even though you weren't so sure if you're waiting for something in return."

"I almost did." Seulgi admitted. "But I couldn't exactly just push these feelings away. It doesn't work that way."

"But you got over me." Hyejin said bluntly that made Seulgi almost jump out of her seat.

"What?!" if Seulgi was drinking she would be spilling it by now.
