Trust, Let's Trust.

“Finally.” Jongdae jokes as Heeyoung and Jongin walk inside the private dining room, where the rest of the Kim cousins are seated with their partners,

"If the two of you are close friends, why didn't we met before?" Jongdae wonders, since the cousins often visited Jaemin's family, but hadn't meet Heeyoung.

"Hope doesn't like meeting new people." Jaemin simply says,

Heeyoung snorts, "You didn't try introducing them either."

"I was being protective. I couldn't have you hurting them." Jaemin replies.

Heeyoung attempts to retort, but looking at the cousins she huffs, "Right."

"Also, I've tried introducing you guys before." Jaemin remembers as the servers bring in their food,

"At our 18th birthday ball-"

"You mean the party where I was high on painkillers, thanks to you." Heeyoung sneers,

"I've apologized many times for that." Jaemin rolls his eyes, "Whenever I brought up the Kims, you would ignore me and walk away."

"Back then, I strongly disliked your family for how they treat Jimena aunty and her kids." Heeyoung explains, sighing as she looks at Junmyeon,  "Even on painkillers, I remembered all the good-looking faces, so why not yours?"

Junmyeon chokes on his food, "Myeon, are you okay?" Heeyoung worries,

"I just remembered I need to do something. Excuse me." Junmyeon practically runs out of the room.

"I thought he was over that party." Jongdae muses,

"Huh?" Heeyoung asks, curious,

"Junmyeon doesn't like talking about it, so don't ever bring it up." Hyeri warns, "Moments before the party, his long-term girlfriend unexpectedly dumped him, so he spend the entire night drinking. And when he woke up, he was hungover and in bed with a complete stranger."

"Why is he still upset over an incident almost 6 years ago." Jaemin doesn't understand,

"Because Junmyeon is a good person." Heeyoung defends,

"Carrying guilt over an unconscious decision doesn't make him good, rather pathetic. If it's upsetting him, why doesn't he find that woman or actually do something about it." Jaemin argues,

"You don't have a conscience, but that doesn't mean others don't." Heeyoung scoffs,

"Mrs.Kim is too cruel." Jaemin humorlessly chuckles, popping a piece of bread into his mouth,

Heeyoung takes a deep breath and turns to face Seungwan.

"Heeyoung." Jongin calls, exiting his car

"Whipped." Jongdae coughs, watching his twin run to his wife.

"Hi." Heeyoung waves at him and the group of people following after him,

"What's the occasion?" Heeyoung asks, as Jongin kisses her forehead. Her husband shrugs, unaware of why Jongdae demanded everyone show up at their apartment.

"Make yourselves at home." Heeyoung waves, following after her husband to freshen up from work.

The couple returns just as the rest of their friends stumble in, except Seungwan.

"Heeyoung, try this." Sehun holds the cup close to her face.

Her eyes slightly widened at the sweet taste, giving Sehun an impressed look.

They hear the door unlock once again,

"Mrs.Kim, what's for dinner?" Jaemin tiredly asks,

"I'm not sure." Heeyoung blinks,

"We ordered pizza." Sera informs them, as Jaemin lays down on the floor and drops his head on Heeyoung's lap.

"Tired?" Heeyoung softly whispers, running a hand through Jaemin's hair, while Sera distracts everyone with the drinks. However, they can't help but watch Heeyoung whisper to Jaemin, with Jongin occasionally glancing at the pair beside him.

"Hope, how's the drink?" Sera asks,

"Really good, I like it." Heeyoung takes another sip of the drink,

"It's the JH special." Chanyeol carefully says,

"JH special?" Heeyoung lets Jongin try it.

"It's good, though a little bitter." Jongin says,

"It's a JH special, not a Jongin special." Jaemin softly grumbles, with his eyes closed.

"What'd you say?" Heeyoung looks down, but Jaemin remains silent.

"We got this for you." Sehun passes Jongin a bright pink drink,

"It's a gaming cafe that recently opened up, Cafe J2H." Yiming informs them,

"I might go there often." Heeyoung muses, discreetly grabbing Jongin's hand.

"I'm proposing." Jongdae suddenly announces,

"Congrats!"

"OMG!" Sera and Yiming loudly squeal,

"What's going on?" Jaemin stirs awake,

"Jongdae is proposing." Heeyoung tells him,

"Congrats" Jaemin yawns,

"What's the plan?"

Jongdae informs them of his plans and how the rest of them fit in the grand scheme.

"It's 8, already. Where's the remote?" Yiming interrupts Jongdae going over final details,

"What's the rush?" Yixing asks his sister, but he's ignored as Yiming clicks through the channels.

"Oh, good." She sighs, as the drama title songs plays.

"What's good?" Yixing asks,

"It's the latest drama with that model they like." Baekhyun answers, his fiance is also an avid watcher.

"Taehyung Kim." Sera explains, at the confusion on Yixing's face.

"Sshh, it's starting." Yiming hushes everyone, Jongdae has an incredulous expression on his face,

"My proposal." Jongdae stammers, the men give him a sympathetic look,

"Who knew Taehyung Kim could pull off long hair?" Jaemin muses, causing Heeyoung to softly chuckle.

~

"Speaking of proposals, how did Jongin propose?" Jaemin softly asks, during a commercial break,

"Over dinner." Heeyoung replies, keeping her voice low,

"How did you meet?" Jaemin follows up,

"We were introduced by Baek at an engagement party." Heeyoung calmly replies,

"How long have you been together?" Jaemin asks,

"A while."

"You must love him a lot to get married, so shortly after meeting." Jaemin points,

"Of course." Heeyoung smiles at him,

"When did you realize you loved him?" Jaemin asks,

"When we slept together the first time." Heeyoung answers, unhesitant, stunning Jaemin silent.

The rest of the group barely manage to not react, since Sehun had discreetly lowered the volume allowing them to eavesdrop.

"When was that?" Jaemin asks,

Heeyoung chuckles, "You don't need to know."

"Hop-,"

"It's back." Sera cuts him off.

"Finally." Jongin sighs, after seeing off their friends, "I thought they were never going to leave."

"That's rude." Heeyoung playfully chides,

"Rude is them interrupting our precious time together." Jongin complains, as she rolls her eyes at him,

"We spend way too much time together for you to be whining about it." Heeyoung points, while Jongin's mouth hangs open,

"How dare you." Jongin cries, suddenly picking his wife up bridal style,

"Jongin!" Heeyoung giggles,

"How about we re-enact our first night together?" Jongin teases, surprising his wife as she didn't think he heard that conversation,

"You..." Jongin loudly laughs, heading to their bedroom.

"Knock knock." Heeyoung pokes her head inside the office,

"You're here." Jongin beams, saving his work before walking to his wife.

"Lunchtime." Heeyoung smiles, as he takes the bag from her hand,

"Minseok's mom keeps calling me about Mom and Dad's absence." Heeyoung complains, silencing her ringing phone, "Mom has apologized several times and even sent them gifts. Your aunt is unnecessarily creating problems." She frowns, setting her bowl on the table,

"Why are there so many bad eggs in your family? First, Ugly and Spoiled and now Eldest Aunt." Heeyoung fumes, Jongin can't help but laugh.

"I'm sorry." Jongin squeezes her hand,

"Why are you apologizing? I should apologize for the problems I'm going to create dealing with them." Heeyoung says,

"I'll back you up." Jongin assures her. The frown on her face softens as she looks at her husband,

"Really?"

"Of course. I'll always support you." Jongin declares,

"My husband is the best." Heeyoung beams, abandoning her food to kiss him.

"Spaghetti, final choice?" Heeyoung asks, shutting the trunk after Jongin has gotten the grocery bags,

"Yes." Jongin nods as a car door slams shut in the back,

"Oka-"

"Oh, I love kimchi spaghetti." A third voice says, surprising the couple as they face a familiar face.

"KIMTAE." Heeyoung jumps on the other man, clinging to him like a koala bear,

"I've missed you so much!" Heeyoung buries her face in his neck,

"I missed you too." Taehyung chuckles, patting her back as he glances at Jongin,

"Hello, CEO Kim Jongin, the poor soul forced to marry this crazy firecracker." Jongin recognizes the face, though seeing him without long hair or without fancy make-up is slightly disconcerting.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Taehyung Kim." Jongin shakes his hand, as his wife clings to the model/actor.

"Princess, the husband's eyeing us." Taehyung jokes, as the clinging koala looks up with a glare,

"Don't make up lies." Heeyoung mumbles, peeling herself off him and wrapping an arm around Jongin's waist.

"Same here, CEO Kim. Sorry I was unable to attend your wedding, the past few months-"

"You fu*king knew?" A sneer cuts Taehyung off, as the trio see a seething Jaemin standing at the side,

"What?" Taehyung asks blankly, as Jaemin glares at him,

"You knew about the wedding? About them?" Jaemin screams, pointing at the couple,

"Well, of course. As her childhood friend and with Jongin being Hana's cousin, we were aware of them." Taehyung calmly explains. Though Heeyoung has a blank face, the tight grip she has on Jongin's waist gives away her nervousness.

"So, why was I unaware?" Jaemin asks,

"How would I know, Jae?" Taehyung sasses, angering the other male to jump at Taehyung. He lands on the floor clutching his jaw, as Jaemin advances for another attack,

"Tae." Hope yells, running between the two, "What the fu*k is wrong with you?" Hope shoves Jaemin away,

"How would I know, Hope?" Jaemin scowls, staring down at her,

"I asked them to not tell you." Hope informs him, stunning him briefly,

"Why, why would you do that?" Jaemin screams, heartbroken,

"Because I didn't want to see your face after the night you chose camel over us. You broke my trust when you refused to even hear us out. I don't need someone who abandoned me." Heeyoung screams at him,

"You said you forgave me." Jaemin whispers, tears running down his cheeks,

"I-"

"She's not obligated." Taehyung defends, pulling her away.

~

"I'll get started on dinner." Jongin leaves to give the pair privacy.

"Hope." Taehyung winces as she cleans his wounds,

"I thought I forgave him and moved past the incident, but.." She sniffs,

"You haven't and that's okay." Taehyung hugs her, "He made mistakes, he's yet to repent for them. No one blames you for not forgiving him, we understand." He assures as she cries into his chest.

~

"She fell asleep." Taehyung informs Jongin, when he walks into the dining room,

"She didn't have dinner." Jongin frowns,

"It's fine." Taehyung murmurs, helping him set the table,

"Is she okay?" Jongin worries, glancing towards the bedroom,

Taehyung sighs, "I'll stay with her tomorrow, hopefully that'll put her in a better mood for the party."

"You're coming?" Jongin asks, surprised, as he sets the food on the table,

"With your wife, do I have a choice?"

"Look who's finally here." Jongdae teases his brother and sister-in-law.

He's ignored as they greet the couple of the evening.

"You've already opened the bar?" Heeyoung asks, noticing the drinks on the table,

"When we're done with the speeches, we're opening the buffet as well." Hyeri tells them, wanting to quickly end the party,

Heeyoung scans the ballroom, leaning in close to her husband, "I'm so grateful Mom kept our guest list short."

"Me too." Jongin nods, getting them drinks from a passing server.

The couple doesn't notice the whispers when a celebrity enters. The male glances around the room for a familiar face.

"Is that?" Yiming gasps, stunned silent as she watches her favorite model/actor head towards her table,

"OMG." Seungwan squeals, slapping her boyfriend's arm.

"Don't you look gorgeous?" Taehyung compliments, surprising the table when he smacks a kiss on Heeyoung's cheek,

"Taehyung Kim." Sera squeals, hurrying to hug the male,

"Sera Oh, is it because I haven't seen you in a while, or you look especially exquisite today?" Taehyung winks at her,

"That's my girlfriend, you d-" Jackson holds his tongue, stepping forward to greet his friend with their weird handshake.

"Are you really Taehyung from The 7th Prince?" Yiming asks, staring at the model.

"Oh, hello." The smile on the model's face widens at the sight of the beautiful lady,

"Everyone, meet my best friend, Taehyung Kim. And they are-"

Taehyung holds up a hand, stopping her, before he starts pointing, "Aejung, Kyungsoo, Minseok, Hyeri, Jihyun, Baekhyun, Yixing, Junmyeon, Sehun, Yiming, Seungwan, Jongdae, Chanyeol, and Sunmi. Did I get it right?" He looks at his friend, who rolls her eyes at the show-off.

"Oh my gosh.... Taehyung Kim knows who I am?" Seungwan squeals, staring at Taehyung with starstruck eyes, oblivious of her boyfriend's glares.

"Hope mentions you quite a lot, I couldn't wait to meet you beautiful ladies." Taehyung grins, earning giggles from the women, while their partners seem wary of the man.

"You can't flirt with them. They're all taken." Heeyoung smiles,

"Who's flirting? I'm merely stating the truth. Pictures don't do them enough justice." Taehyung winks at Yiming. Heeyoung, Sera and Jackson look like they've seen this scene countless times already.

"Taehyung." The smile on Heeyoung's face falls as a certain lady steps between the two friends,

"I'm Go Mina, how about we get to know each other on the dance floor?" Mina signals towards the dance floor. Taehyung looks over Mina's shoulder to see Hope gagging at the flirty female. The model glances at Mina briefly and silently walks away.

Hope internally commends her best friend for shutting Go Mina without a single word, but the displeased lady turns to her.

"What?" Heeyoung asks, bored,

"I understand you're practically a commoner, but you're part of the Kim family, now. At least pretend to have some class." Mina taunts,

Heeyoung snorts, looking Mina head to toe, "Unlike you, I don't need to put up pretenses." She brutally states, watching an angered Mina scurry off.

Hyeri gives her an impressed look before Minseok and her make their way to the pseudo-stage.

When Minseok hands the mic to his father, Jaemin walks into the room. The young ladies around the room are quick to notice the handsome face and tune out the old man in favor of swooning over the blue-eyed male. Heeyoung and Jaemin accidentally glance at each other, but quickly look away.

By the time Hyeri and Minseok walk back, dinner is brought out and the DJ is blasting pop music.

~

"How about next Saturday?" Seungwan asks, trying to organize a ladies night,

"Saturday? That works for me." Yiming agrees,

Seungwan turns to Heeyoung, but the scene behind Heeyoung has her cussing. Heeyoung turns to see Go Mina splash wine on Jaemin, ceasing all conversation around the room as Go Minsup whispers to Jaemin.

Heeyoung loudly scoffs, a scary expression taking over her face as she walks towards the scene, swiping a wine glass from a server. Minsup and Mina smirk at the silently seething Jaemin, but the latter endures the insults, not wanting to create a scene at someone else's event. Jaemin heads for the exit, but halts seeing the murderous look on Hope's face as she walks past him. Before he can stop her, the contents of her glass land on Go Minsup, staining his face red.

"Everyone's entitled to stupidity, but the two of you really abuse your privileges." Heeyoung sneers, handing the empty glass to a server.

She turns to leave but is stopped by a tight grip on her wrist, "How fu*-"

"How dare you?" Taehyung grits, tightly squeezing the hand holding his best friend's. Minsup lets go of Heeyoung, though Taehyung continues crushing his hand, "You even think about touching her, and I'll crush you."

With everyone's attention is on the model, Heeyoung slips her hand in Jaemin's and the two walk out of the room.

"Who the fu*k are you?" Minsup fumes, stepping towards Taehyung, but a loud wail turns their attention to a soaked Mina as a well-dressed lady holds an empty glass over Mina.

"Oops, my hand slipped." She innocently shrugs, repeating the words Mina used on Jaemin.

"You fu*-." Mina looks ready to attack, but Taehyung steps between them with a deadly glare,

"I'll deal with whoever you are later." An older lady threatens them, following the wine-soaked idiots out.

"Is everyone here?" Sera turns to her boyfriend as Taehyung leads the lady towards them,

"Jack-Sera." The lady beams, running to hug Jackson and Sera.

"Seol Choi." Sera chuckles, pulling away to introduce the lady as another childhood friend of Heeyoung.

"I apologize for disturbing your party." Seol politely smiles at the hosts,

"Don't be. I should thank you for taking those two down a notch." Hyeri grins, her fiance doesn't look as amused as her.

"Jun-myeon, Huh, You are handsome." Seol voices, as Sera introduces him. Junmyeon raises an eyebrow at the statement, surprising his friends as he usually gets flustered at such a direct compliment.

"I can understand why Hope admires you." Seol nods,

"Will you?" Junmyeon retorts, slightly blushing at the unexpected reply.

"Who knows?" Seol trails off, turning to a frowning Jongin,

"Don't worry CEO Kim, you're still the husband." Seol nods at him,

"Although you're not-" Taehyung slaps his hand over Seol's mouth, "If you'll excuse us." The model drags her away,

"We'll meet you at Okto." Taehyung waves at the quartet approaching Jongin and his friends,

"I apologize for them." The deep voice belongs to a man slightly taller than Chanyeol,

"Sorry for ruining your party, Oppa." A woman hugs Minseok. Jihana Kim, Jaemin's older sister by 17 minutes. The twins share many similar features, making it easy to guess their relationship.

"Haechan Park?" Sehun blurts, recognizing the tall male,

"Oh Sehun." Haechan smiles, revealing a deep dimple on one cheek,

"Bomi Mom." Jackson picks up the petite lady beside Haechan,

"Jack Son." Bomi plays along, as he sets her back on the floor,

"Hello, it's nice to meet you, I'm Bomi Song-Park. Thank you for looking after our youngest." The small lady smiles,

"This is my boyfriend, Eddy Jung." Hana introduces the handsome raven-haired male beside her,

"What did Heeyoung and her friends eat to be this good-looking?"

"Rice."

"Smarta*s." Sera pokes her tongue at her boyfriend, who kisses her temple before turning back to his conversation with Haechan. Their introductions have to be cut short as cell phones start ringing and people start dashing out of the hall.

The hosts and Junmyeon try to find out what's happening while the rest continue chatting with Heeyoung's friends.

"Are all your parties like this?" Sunmi asks, amused as people keep rushing out,

"I wish." Sera sighs, as Minseok heads back,

"A major scandal hit Go Tech." Minseok informs them,

"What kind?"

"JG is reporting a fraud scandal, however since they have an exclusive, they're dragging it out." Hyeri fills in,

"The elders are heading to the Go's." Junmyeon adds,

"What a wonderful start!" Kyungsoo claps, "I'm already anticipating the wedding."

"Kyungsoo" Hyeri fumes, the younger innocently shrugs.

Before Hyeri can chide her brother, Haechan offers, "Since our friends disturbed your party, let us make up for it."

"You don't have to."

"Please, let us. We'll also get to know each other." Bomi backs her husband.

"If you insist." Minseok answers for everyone.
