Camp  Jeon

Because of the noises, Donghae couldn’t sleep. He went out to the cafeteria to get a bottle of water. When he got out of the cafeteria he saw a light on one of the trees. He got closer and realized it was a tree house. Somebody’s legs were hanging from it, but it was too high for him to see who it was. So he climbed up the stairs. It was Yuri who was sitting in the tree house.

DH:Hey. What are you doing up here?

Y:When we first got here, 7 years ago, we built this house. I climb up here when I need some time alone.

DH:Why? What’s wrong?

He sits next to her.

Y:What’s wrong is none of your business.

DH:I’m just trying to help.

Y:Don’t. I’m not about to say something personal to someone I know for a few days.

DH:Is it about the camp? Plus, you stole my underwear, so you kinda owe me.

Y:Well, I guess I do. And it’s not about the camp. 8 years ago, at this exact day, my brother was shot dead.

DH:Oh. I’m sorry.

Y:Yeah, this is why I don’t tell people what happened. Cause then they look at me as the I-have-a-dead-brother  girl.

DH:Fine, I’ll get back to looking at you as the I-steal-people’s-underwear girl.

Y:(laughs) We’re still on that, huh?

DH:We will always be on that. And you enjoyed stealing my underwear.

Y:What!? No I didn’t.

DH:Yes, you did.

Y:No, I didn’t.

DH:Yes, you did.

Y:No, I didn’t.

DH:Yes, you did!

Donghae looked deep into her eyes. They stared at each other for a couple of seconds. It looked like they were about to kiss, but somebody distracted them.

???:YURI!!!

Y:Sooyoung!?

SY:We’re done. Come back down.

Y:(gets up)Yeah, I’m coming.(heads to the stair and turns to Hae) Uhm… bye.

DH:Bye.

She went down and Donghae stayed in the tree house. Damn it, Sooyoung, why did you have to call at that exact moment? He thought.
