Kyungsoo is telling you about something from one of his classes when Minseok passes, poking Kyungsoo’s side, with a little “Oooh.” He’s the third person to do that since you’ve arrived at Jongin’s birthday party. It is like everyone knows something you don’t.

“What was that?” You ask Kyungsoo quietly.

“What was what?” He seems nervous.

“What Minseok just did.”

“Who’s Minseok?”

“What are you besides confused?” You cross your arms, raising your eyebrows.

“Can we step outside?” He suggests over the noise and leads you out of the karaoke bar where Jongdae and Baekhyun are singing a drunken duet. 

Once you’re away from the ridiculous runs and off key vocals, you express your concerns for your best friend, “What’s up with you?”

“It’s nothing.” Kyungsoo avoids eye contact.

“What if I can help? I’m great with advice.” You gently shake his arms, pleading with him to tell you.
