Grace’s POV

I wake up with a start as the same memory flashes past my eyes, reminding me of that night 3 years ago. The same night that changed my life and left me feeling alone. Breathing rapidly as I try and shake the image from my head, I look over and see Yuri awake watching me curiously. I smile slightly at her.

“Bad dream?” She asks as she sits up and stretches, stiff from spending the night on the couch.

“I wish it was only a dream.” I reply with a sigh as I stretch my neck out which is cramped really bad and then quickly head to my room to get changed into my training clothes.

“Are you okay?” Yuri asks when I come back out.

“Mmm I’m fine, I’m used to it by now. The nightmares come most nights.”

“That seriously .”

“Yeah tell me about it. Anyway, what are you up to this morning? I know we have practice later but what about until then?”

“Nothing actually did you have something in mind?” Yuri replies as I grab us each a coffee and sit at the bench.

“You up for a run? Then I have to head down to the car dealership to sign some paperwork for my new car.” I reply.

“Sure sounds good to me I just have to grab a change of clothes from next door. Come with me?” She asks as she gets up and makes her way to the door.

“You bet. After I get the paperwork done for my car I was gonna go straight to the company, I need to upload a new video of some sort for my subscribers it’s been a while.” I say running my hand through my hair.

“New choreography?”

“Yeah I have a new one worked out, could use a couple extra dancers though if you’re up for it?”

“Definitely. We should ask Hyoyeon if she wants to as well. That is, if she is alive after last night.” Yuri adds with a laugh as we make our way into their dorm.

Inside we find Hyoyeon still passed out on the couch. Grinning at each other the two of us jump on her waking her up.

“Yah! What the hell do you two idiots want, it’s still early.” She groans hitting us with her pillow. “How are the two of you even alive right now you both drank more than I did.”

“Maybe we can just hold our alcohol better.” I say teasing, while Hyoyeon just grumbles before sitting up. We fill her in on our plans for the video and she quickly agrees to join us once we get back from our run, claiming that we have to be insane wanting to exercise after drinking all night. Yuri quickly gets changed and we head out leaving Hyoyeon still grumbling on the couch.

Yuri and I sprint along the Han River together laughing at each other before we both come to a stop at a bench.

“ your fast Grace, we might have to do this more often.”

“You managed to keep up though, most people I’ve run with don’t.” I say grinning at her as I buy a water from the nearest street vendor, gulping down half of it before throwing the rest to Yuri who quickly drinks it still panting.

“Thanks Grace I needed that, come on lets head back and get changed and go check out that car of yours.” She says panting slightly still.

“I’ll race you back?” I say with a grin and the two of us take off again.

When we get back to my apartment the two of quickly get changed before taking a taxi to the dealership. Inside we both look around in awe taking in all the cars.

“So what car are you getting? Yuri asks as I walk towards one of the cars in the shop smiling at it. “The new mustang? Nice choice.”

“Yeah well I have a bit of a soft spot for this car.” I reply with a grin. “I had last years’ model when I was still in the States, but I had to sell it when I moved.”

The salesperson comes up to me and we quickly go about filling out the paperwork and she informs me that the car will be ready for me to pick up in a few days’ time. After sorting out everything for the car Yuri and I head to company meeting Hyoyeon at the entrance. By this point she looks like she is feeling a lot better than she was earlier. We head into their practice room greeting a few other trainees and idols on the way. When we get into the room I pull out my phone so I can film a live mini vlog to give my subscribers a bit of an update.

“Hey guys. I know it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted anything. I’m really sorry about that, but anyway I just thought I’d update you guys a bit on what’s been happening for me. So, I know most of you know that I moved back to my hometown of Melbourne, Australia, but what you probably don’t know is that about a month after I arrived there I received a message from someone asking me to come work for them at their company. I bet most of you are familiar with the company as well, so I accepted the job which meant I had to move once again. Now I am finally here following my dreams in Seoul, South Korea. The job offer I received was from none other than Lee Sooman himself, CEO of SM Ent. Can you believe it! So now I am here working as the official choreographer for SM. I’ve met some pretty awesome people since coming here, and will be actually uploading a new choreography video within the next day or so with a couple of the people I’ve made friends with since coming here.
