No One’s POV:
Just when the elevator door dinged open, Sooyoon suddenly stopped her from getting in. “Bring him up,” he said in a totally different tone.
“Uh?” she looked up at him, taken aback as the tone was something she was totally not used to.
“I meant Jiwoong. He would still be out. Most probably. If he doesn’t have any other plan, ask him to come up.” Sooyoon said. “I will go up first.”
Joo Eun nodded, unsure of what was happening before she walked over to the front of the building and just like Sooyoon said, he was still there. “Jiwoong-ah?” she called out to him and the said boy turned around, taken aback. “You are still here?”
“Uh? Yeah,” he nodded hesitatingly, “I was just about to leave. Why?”
“Do you have any plans for today?” he shook his head, “Then would you like to come up?” he looked at her wide eyed. “Sooyoon asked me to bring you up if you’re okay with it.”
As they walked up to the elevator, Jiwoong asked, “Why did he ask me to come up?”
Joo Eun just shrugged, “I don’t know.”
Joo Eun entered the pin and they both walked in, “Sooyoon-ah, he’s here.” She called out as she made her way in.
“Come in,” Sooyoon said to Jiwoong, momentarily peeping out of his bedroom door. “Grab a seat. I will be back in a moment.” Jiwoong once again bowed a little in response before grabbing a seat.
“Would you like something to drink? Coffee or tea?” Joo Eun asked while Jiwoong shook his head, “How about some water?” he nodded and she went back to the kitchen to get him some water.
When she came back, she saw Sooyoon just taking a seat. “Want something to drink?” she asked while he shook his head. “Then I will cook some lunch for us. Call me if you need anything.”
“We can call for a delivery,” Sooyoon said but she shook her head.
“You are not well. I’m not going to order from outside when I can cook.”
“I will help you then,” Jiwoong volunteered while she looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
“Okay. But keep in mind that I will be kicking you out of the kitchen any moment I feel you are of no help.” She instructed him strictly to which he nodded obediently while Sooyoon just chuckled lightly.
As Joo Eun and Jiwoong cooked in the kitchen, Sooyoon was constantly flipping through different channels, his mind wandering off somewhere, mostly towards the kitchen where the two sounded like they were having fun. He himself wasn’t sure of why he had asked Jiwoong to come over to his place.
Later after having their lunch, they all settled down on the couch with Joo Eun in between Sooyoon and Jiwoong. But suddenly she remembered something, so she stood up and walked away, only to return with a glass of water and some medicines in her hand.
“Sooyoon-ah, it’s time for you to take this.” She handed them over to him and made sure he took them before settling herself back on the couch, once again in between the two.
As they watched some movie, she was too focused on it that she failed to notice the constant exchange of glances between the two males in the room, almost as if challenging the other for a duel match.
“Ah, my legs are feeling sore.” She suddenly said before raising her leg up and resting it on top of Jiwoong’s.
It was easier for her to do so as she was sitting closer to Sooyoon than to Jiwoong. Sooyoon looked at the two of them in surprise while Jiwoong shot him a taunting smirk as he grabbed her legs and started massaging it.
“Aw, that feels so good, Jiwoong-ah. Thank you,” she said while Sooyoon suddenly stood up and walked towards his room, “Sooyoon-ah?” she called out to him but he uttered nothing in response.
He returned a moment later, with a blanket in hand. “Yah! You could have asked me to get it for you,” Joo Eun said while he unfolded it and placed it on her lap before flopping down on his old place beside her.
“I’m just down with fever. I’m not dying. So chill,” he ruffled her hair with a teasing smile while she just smiled at him widely before slightly leaning against him and taking his hands into hers.
She gently ran her fingers along the veins that were visible on his arms. “What are you doing?” he asked, letting out a chuckle.
“Nothing. Just admiring your veins?” she smiled at him innocently while he just shook his head at her silliness. “I kind of find them attractive.” She blurted out while he chuckled.
“Is there anything in him that you don’t find attractive?” Jiwoong mumbled, quickly earning a kick or two from Joo Eun.
Sooyoon didn’t hear what he told but when he asked Joo Eun about it, she just shook her head rapidly. “Nothing. Just nonsense.”
Towards the end of the movie, Sooyoon was being too quiet. He had actually fallen asleep a while ago but Joo Eun was totally into the movie that she didn’t really notice until the movie finally got over.
“Um, after watching the end, I feel like it was such a waste of time.” Joo Eun muttered letting out a yawn.
“Says the girl who was almost inside the TV until now,” Jiwoong shook his head.
She glared at him for a moment before turning towards Sooyoon, “OMO! Yoonie fell asleep?” she stood up with the blanket in hand before unfolding it completely and wrapping it around him.
“Yoonie?” Jiwoong acted like he was gagging while she just ignored his actions.
She placed her hand on his forehead and checked his temperature, then let out a sigh in relief when she felt it to be not too hot, before she leaned in and laid a kiss on his forehead, “Get well soon.”
“Can you make it any more obvious?” Jiwoong asked, rolling his eyes.
“Shhh!” she threw a pillow at him. “Can’t you see he’s sleeping?” she grabbed his ears and playfully reprimanded him.
She let go of him a moment later
