Jaejoong POV
 

“Jae?”

“Come on” I pulled her to the opposite direction

“Where are you taking me? The car is-”

“Don’t look back”

But I was late. Amara had halted, making me jerk back. “Amara!” I pulled her to me, but she didn’t budge. “Come this way now!”

But she seemed to be in a daze, and I had no option but to drag her in the opposite direction.

“Jae”

“Don’t worry, just come with me”

I sensed her turn towards their direction, something I couldn’t risk happening. Reflexively my arms wrapped around her shoulder, pulling her to my body as I held her by her shoulder. The intelligent, strong girl I fell in love was no more. She was shivering, panicking and clenching onto me like her life depended on it

“They’re here Jae..” She was whispering in pure fright

“Don’t worry Amara” I assured, pushing the sudden panic within me deep in my heart, my hold over her tightening as my mind began to jumble not knowing what to do next.

“Jae…”

“Shhh, let me think”

“Leave me please”

My body turned rigid, feet halting on its tracks. “Amara” I took in a deep breath

“Please..” Her fingers clenched onto the fabric of my top, eyes pleadingly looking at me, “Please, I can’t risk you being seen with me”

I had to force in another breath. Grabbing her I continued to motion towards the big banyan tree.

“Jae”

“Don’t speak another word”

“But I’m scared”

So am I. But that’s something I’ve never let her know. Hiding behind the huge tree, I pushed her to the bark.

“Jae”

“No” I cut her off, “Not a word about you leaving me or asking me to leave you!”

“But”

“No buts Amara. I didn’t risk everything to just leave you like that”

Her eyes flashed a shade of red but I wouldn’t waver, not now, not ever. Amara sighed and pasted her head on my shoulder, her fingers daringly pulling my t-shirt closer to her.

“I won’t let them lay a finger on you. I promise” I assured her once again

“I’m worried about you, idiot!” She hissed

“They can’t touch me Amara”

“How confident are you about that?”

Her question hit me right in my heart because I am not very confident of what I told her. What if I get caught? What if they team up and beat me up?

Oh god! That very thought brought a shiver down my spine.

“Don’t deny it Jae, I can feel your fright”

I hugged her tightly, my eyes cutting my vision from our difficult reality. “Yes, I am scared” I admitted, forcing her grip over my clothes to tighten. “But” I pulled away and held her beautiful face in my hands, “The thought of losing you is scarier that having them on our tail”

“I don’t know what to do now Jae”

“Then let me do the thinking this time please”

She nodded and remained quiet while I began to devise a plan.

I have been in similar situations numerous times with stalking sasaengs. If I could escape them, I can escape these hooligans too.

Ok Kim Jaejoong, what will you do if you are stuck in public and having a bunch of sasengs hot on your tail?

“Disguises” I mumbled in Korean. “Amara-chan, we need disguises” I informed, immediately shifting to Japanese, looking around to find something or someplace where I could get us some disguises

“There!” I pointed at a street market and dragged her with me, throwing my arm around her shoulder and shielding her with my body. “Don’t look elsewhere please” I asked

“I won’t. I like it here. You smell nice”

I almost tripped over my own step at her unexpected words. “You’re going to be the death of me woman” I declared, taking hold of her by the back of her neck
