Jaejoong POV

 

“YAH! KIM JAEJOONG! YOU BASTARD! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!”

“Mind your words, you jerk!” I hissed.

“Ah hyung! You drove us crazy the past two days! We thought you were kidnapped by sasaengs!”

“What?!”

“Your phone was out of reach!”

“Ahhhh, that….”

“What?!”

“It’s nothing Chun, jagi wanted us to get new sims so I removed mine”

“OH MY GOD HYUNG! ARE YOU SERIOUSLY IN LOVE WITH HER?!”

Ouch my ears!

“Yep” I answered nevertheless.

There was a momentary pause and I leaned over the car and enjoyed the night sky.

“I have fallen in love Yoochun-ah. Madly, deeply and irresistibly in love with her”

“Didn’t you meet her like yesterday?”

“4 days since our meeting in the street market” I corrected him.

“Oh you have gone nuts hyung”

I couldn’t help but laugh.

“It’s not funny hyung. I’m serious. You have no darn idea about her!”

“Her name is Amara” I informed.

“So you do know her name…..”

I chose to ignore the sarcasm in his tone.

“And I’m pretty sure she’s got the hots for me”

“Really?”

“Yep”

“How so?”

“She kissed me and I know she liked it”

Yoochun remained silent and I breathed in the wet air. It isn’t the same air in Korea, more heavy and is mixed with more dirt but I didn’t mind it.

“Are you sure she isn’t a sasaeng?”

“Yep. She doesn’t know Korean and” I sat up straight “I was the one gawking at her beauty like the whole time”

“Is she that beautiful hyung?”

“There’s something in her Chun… Something that gets me all crazy about her. Yes, she is beautiful but it’s not that man” I smiled. “The way she walks, talks, smiles, and the effort she puts to make me understand what she is speaking. Man! I badly need you here! I need to understand what she speaks. I need her to understand what I talk. I don’t like using google translator!”

“Google translator?!”

“Yes Chun. We use the translator.” I sighed in defeat. “Pretty pathetic eh?”

“Actually hyung…. If she really is not a sasaeng….. What you two are doing is pretty awesome”

I couldn’t help but smile enjoying the flutter my heart felt right now. Oh god! I felt like everything just crashed except for those black eyes that stared right into my eyes. Darn it! Her lips felt so soft! I still remember how tightly she held onto my top. I wasn’t sure what to do. I knew she kissed me to hide from them. Her eyes were glued on them when her lips were over mine but I cannot explain how or what I felt at that moment.

Women have kissed me. They’ve kissed me passionately but her mere lip lock weakened my knees. It was clumsy and not at all romantic. She wasn’t looking at me most of the time but darn it! It felt as if there was an earthquake within my soul.

Everyone cringed, including them. They made sure to look away when they past us and then she looked at me. Holy smokes! Her eyes are electrifying. She blinked once and I couldn’t help but blink. Her grip on me unexpectedly tightened and her eyes shot an emotion that I am yet to comprehend. Was it relief, happiness, sorrow or was it what I was thinking it was?

That she wanted me to kiss her back……

Yes, that was all I could understand. It felt as if she was expecting me to kiss her back. I WANTED TO KISS HER BACK but I couldn’t take the chance.

If in case I kiss and she pulls away, I don’t think my heart can bear it. Yes, I barely know her. I know nothing about her yet I know that she is worth all my trouble.

We maintained our awkward kiss, blankly staring at each other until upto the moment she lost balance when we reached the end of the escalator. This time, I didn’t think twice. I pulled her to me.

“Gotcha beautiful” I whispered with a smile. Oh she was still rather dumb struck and I took the liberty to guide the both of us from harm’s way.

People shot us unimpressed looks but my focus was on Amara.

“You ok?” I asked. Her reply was a blink of her eyes. “Amara” I gently shook her arm and then she jerked back.

“Sorry” She forced a smile. “I’m-”

“We go” I urged. “Before come” I pointed at the 1st floor.

Though it was mainly to avoid the obvious awkwardness between us.

Fortunately, the gangsters were far from where we parked the car. We mingled in the crowd, walking close to one another and paced to the car. She got into the backseat and laid flat on the seat once I drove past them. That man who showed me her photo recognized me but I acted like I did not see him. Wanting to escape from them since they were too close, I took a hunch and drove into a road past the junction where I initially drove from. I wasn’t sure where we were. I could check the GPS but I liked the trill of not knowing where I was. Besides, it seemed to be a residential area. Still, I hit on the accelerator and drove further in.

A good hour of driving let us to this hotel. Amara was still in her room and I, having washed first, decided to grab some air, most importantly to keep an eye in case they find us. Remembering Chun and Su, I pulled out my old sim and that led to the conversation I am currently having with him.

“Hyung you there?”

“Ah yeah. I’m here Chunnie. Just got carried away”

“Yah, don’t say you’re fantasizing about her….”

“Dude, stop thinking of bedroom business always!”
